Chapter 43: Ten Days of Special Training

Chapter 43: Ten Days of Special Training

“Mr. Ouxs. If possible, could you mass-produce this weapon? I’ve tested its effects, and it’s quite powerful. Also, if you don’t mind, can we mass-produce this too?”

Before heading back, Aierjisi made sure to find Ouxs, handing him the gun along with the magazine she crafted.

“What is this? Did you make it? It seems to be a matching product with the gun that Lady Ailin left behind.”

Ouxs examined the magazine closely, noticing that it fit perfectly with the gun left by Lady Ailin.

“Yup. Is there a problem?”

“There is. How did you make this thing? The dimensions are spot on. Do you have any design schematics? If you do, mass production would be a lot easier. By the way, why would we even mass-produce this toy? Is its power really that strong?”

Ouxs was doubtful of the little toy’s destructive power, thinking it hardly worth the effort to mass-produce.

“It seems I need to broaden your horizons. Follow me; I’ll show you just how powerful this thing is.”

To convince Ouxs, Aierjisi had no choice but to take him back to the testing room.

【Activate! Super Vibration Wave!】

boom!

“So? Do you believe me now?”

After demonstrating the explosive power by shattering multiple stone mountains right in front of Ouxs, Aierjisi asked him again whether he believed her.

Having witnessed the destructive capabilities of the little toy firsthand, Ouxs could only nod in silence, expressing his newfound belief.

He had thought the schematics left by Lady Ailin were just some simple toy, but it turned out to be such a powerful weapon! If it could be mass-produced and applied to the military, Panimir could dominate this continent.

“Alright. Then go ahead and mass-produce it. If there’s nothing else, I’ll head back to rest now.”

After handing the gun and magazine to Ouxs, Aierjisi returned to her room to prepare for rest.

“Uh, where’s Yake? I specifically told him to come back and wait for me, but he’s nowhere to be found! Yake? Yake? Are you there?”

Aierjisi called out a few times in the room, but there was no response from Yake. With no choice, she decided to use their contract to contact him.

【Yake, where are you? Didn’t I tell you to wait for me in the room?】

【Aier. Sorry, I had my own things to do and left the room. If you want to lecture me, I’ll listen when I get back. But for now, let me be alone for a bit.】

Almost the moment the message went out, Yake replied to Aierjisi. Even though the message annoyed Aierjisi a bit, since Yake wanted his personal space, she let him be. As long as he didn’t get himself killed, it was fine.

“How about it? Have you finished talking with Aierjisi?”

Gaia glanced at Yake, who was panting heavily. Just moments ago, during their spar, Aierjisi’s sudden message had distracted Yake, causing their match to pause.

“Yeah. I’ve told her. Though I’ll probably be nagged endlessly when I get back.”

Thinking about the upcoming lecture made Yake’s expression sour. But for the sake of continuing the practice with Gaia, it was a small price to pay.

They were currently in the Training Ground inside the Royal Palace, where the concept of time would be diluted. Thirty days there equaled merely five minutes outside. This meant Yake had plenty of time to train and sharpen his skills.

To understand why they were here, we need to rewind to ten minutes before.

“Lord Gaia, are you busy right now?”

Yake approached Gaia, who was still working, wanting to discuss something.

“What’s up? Just say it.”

“Well, actually, I’d like to ask Lord Gaia to conduct special training for me.”

“Special training? Right now? Why do you want to do that?”

Gaia paused his work and looked at Yake, waiting for an answer.

“Because during my last battle with Diablo, I realized my strength is still lacking. Plus, Aier helped me redesign my equipment to address some shortcomings. But I still want to improve as much as possible. So please, I really need your help for special training!”

Yake bowed sincerely to show his determination.

“Alright then, since you put it that way, I can’t refuse. I can spare you some time for special training now, about 15 minutes.”

“Eh? 15 minutes? Forget it, that won’t be enough time for anything!”

At first, upon hearing 15 minutes, Yake refused. It was too short to accomplish anything. He would rather wait for a day with more time to accept Gaia’s training.

“Don’t worry, when did I say the training time is just 15 minutes?”

“Huh?”

Yake looked confused. Wasn’t it just a 15-minute training session? Could it be that the training time exceeded that?

“Follow me; I’ll take you to a good place.”

With a gentle smile, Gaia led Yake to the Training Ground in the Royal Palace. After explaining how time flowed differently there, they took up weapons and started sparring in the training room.

“This weapon of yours does pack a punch, but with your current strength, it’ll be quite a challenge to wield it properly.”

During their battle, Gaia pointed out Yake’s current shortcomings. Although the equipment had significantly improved after Aierjisi’s modifications, Yake, as the user, was still at his previous level, which was insufficient. To use the upgraded gear effectively, Yake needed to enhance his own strength to match it.

“Got it! I’ll work hard to improve my skills! So please continue the special training!”

Yake humbly accepted Gaia’s guidance.

“Alright. Let’s keep going then.”

Seeing Yake’s earnest attitude, Gaia continued their sparring in the training ground, providing him with special training.

It must be said that training non-stop for ten days without food, water, or sleep while battling was quite effective, and Yake’s abilities grew at an observable rate.

Of course, as a price to pay, when he and Gaia emerged from the training ground, Yake collapsed on the ground, utterly exhausted, unable to move a muscle. Gaia was in a similar state beside him.
