〈Chapter 436〉Part 1, Chapter 18
“This ceiling is unfamiliar.”
Lee Seung-hyung rose from the bed in a pitch-black room. There were no restraints, and he could get up freely.
“…Seriously.”
Seung-hyung was shocked to see the clothes someone had dressed him in.
Whose taste this was, it was glaringly obvious—tight-fitting black dress shirt clinging to his body, paired with black suit pants. The whole room was wallpapered in black, save for a single blue metallic case left on the bed’s side pocket.
“What the heck is this place…?”
Though somewhat prepared mentally after hearing about it, it was far more impressive than expected. There were no windows to look outside, only a soft crimson light glowing eerily from the ceiling like a motel. And Seung-hyung realized instantly.
‘This… isn’t possible.’
It was impossible not to realize. The room’s layout, even the placement of the bedside electric kettle—it all perfectly replicated the room where he’d shared love with Garura. Seung-hyung rushed over and grabbed the doorknob.
Creak, creak.
The door wouldn’t budge. As if some kind of barrier sealed it shut from the outside, leaving Seung-hyung no choice but to punch the door with all his might.
Bang! Boom! Crash!!
No matter how hard he swung, the door remained unbroken. Finally, Seung-hyung gave up, turned around, and lay back down on the bed face-up.
“I’m trapped good.”
The magical gear wrapped around his wrist had completely cut off communication with the outside. His reddened skin suggested someone had tried—and failed—to remove it. Checking the date:
Year 4796, Month 89, Day 15.
“Too blatant.”
Not a single thing made sense—not the year, nor the month. Ultimately, Seung-hyung placed the metallic case given by Phoenix into his shirt pocket. It resembled a cigarette case, and inside, unsurprisingly, contained something equally incriminating.
“Hmph.”
Seung-hyung sighed deeply to calm his nerves. Scanning the room, he noticed a piece of paper lying lazily on the table. He approached and picked it up.
<You can't leave this room unless you have sex with Angwa.>
“Ho ho… really.”
Seung-hyung couldn’t help but chuckle nervously. Now he understood why so many heroes ended up becoming monsters under Azidahaka’s influence.
‘When you’re given choices like these, it’s no wonder everyone ends up as a monster.’
1. End your own life.
2. Starve or die of thirst.
3. Just go ahead and do it.
There was only one viable answer: survive by doing it with Azidahaka. Seung-hyung shuddered at the trap Azidahaka had set.
After all, those who volunteered to come here to fight Azidahaka—Angwa—probably thought they could handle her. But Angwa likely just shrugged and offered herself willingly.
‘This is like an ant hell.’
By the time you realized you were caught, it was already too late. Seung-hyung took a deep breath to steady himself. According to Phoenix, once separated, Azidahaka would reveal her true nature.
“Hello?”
And there she was, appearing behind Seung-hyung. Her hand snaked around his waist, attempting what seemed like a reverse bear hug to pull off his shirt. The movement was snake-like and incredibly seductive. Seung-hyung grabbed her wrist.
“I didn’t know you’d resort to tactics like this.”
“All men fall for it. Handling guys who lose their minds over pretty women? That’s my specialty.”
Azidahaka fully revealed herself, straddling the bed. She was dressed exactly like Garura from the video. Seung-hyung struggled to suppress his anger.
“Why? Don’t you like this? Isn’t this what you wanted?”
“…”
Seung-hyung squeezed his eyes shut. Despite knowing he needed to act, calming his mind proved difficult. Azidahaka mimicked Garura’s hairstyle as she taunted him.
“Ho ho, now both your body and heart are gone. What’s with the tension?”
“No.”
“Your words say that, but your lower half tells a different story.”
“…”
As he closed his eyelids, Azidahaka’s touch became disturbingly clear. Her hand brushed against the front of his pants, tracing upward along his bulge. True to her word, Seung-hyung’s member was unmistakably erect.
“Ho ho, that’s right. That’s how it should be. You’re lucky, you know? I don’t do this for just any guy.”
Azidahaka pulled the metallic case from Seung-hyung’s pocket. With a snap and a small explosion-like sound, it opened to reveal what Saladin had chuckled about earlier. She held up a plastic-wrapped item from the cardboard box and waved it in front of Seung-hyung.
“What’s this…?”
“Vitamin P.”
“Calling it a vitamin doesn’t fool anyone. You came here intending to use it, right?”
Azidahaka carelessly discarded her top, looking entirely ready for action.
“Here, let me show you. Hmm.”
She bit the edge of the plastic with her teeth and twisted it with her fingers. The plastic tore neatly, revealing its contents. Azidahaka sniffed the cool, birdlike scent before placing the object onto her palm.
♪♪
“What is this…?”
On Azidahaka’s palm sat a tiny blue canary-sized bird curled up inside a capsule. The little bird tilted its head up toward Azidahaka and opened its beak wide.
– Contraception stands for ‘P’, ya know.
“What?”
– Sex is not friendship.
“What?!?”
Before Azidahaka could explode with rage, the mini-Phoenix burst into blue flames, rapidly growing in size. Startled, Azidahaka threw the bird away.
Thud!
Blue flames grabbed Azidahaka by her hair, dragging her out into the open.
“Aaaaah!!”
“Gotcha.”
As Azidahaka attempted to escape into the shadows, the woman holding her hair emerged from the flames.
“Hi there.”
Cheongnyeon Phoenix returned Azidahaka’s greeting with a casual wave.
“Do you want to start with a punch? Ho ho, Angwa’s room where you must fornicate to leave?”
Phoenix twirled Azidahaka’s hair around her fist while fiery blue flames crackled around her knuckles.
“That’s fine without hitting! I can break out myself! Blazing Phoenix Revival!”
The dark barrier shattered violently as blue flames soared toward the black sky of the Forbidden City.
* * *
To put it bluntly, playing with Azidahaka was technically legal.
Even the original protagonist, Baek Cheonghwa, got captured by Azidahaka and forced into intimacy. Precisely speaking, he fell victim to Angwa’s manipulations, mistaking her for the heroine and getting involved unwillingly.
‘Introducing her as the heroine ensured everyone got hooked.’
Naturally, Angwa was Azidahaka in disguise. Azidahaka lured the protagonist who defeated Fenril into becoming her plaything, impressed by his skills and deciding not to kill him.
‘The difficulty of fighting Azidahaka depends entirely on how satisfied she gets.’
Depending on the level of satisfaction, Azidahaka’s treatment varies. If she’s utterly pleased, a simple slap will send her collapsing into the protagonist’s arms, pretending to lose.
Of course, if she remains unsatisfied, it’s game over. Even if the protagonist has impressive stats, failing to satisfy Azidahaka means being trapped in the barrier forever.
Thus, there are two ways to escape Azidahaka’s trap:
Either she becomes satisfied and releases the barrier, or someone breaks it using power beyond the barrier itself. Naturally, the latter was practically impossible in-game since Azidahaka would abduct her victims to the Forbidden City.
But this wasn’t a game—it was reality.
I quickly stuffed the mini-Phoenix into Seung-hyung’s pocket, disguising it as something Azidahaka or Saladin wouldn’t suspect. Sure enough, Azidahaka ripped the plastic open right in front of Seung-hyung.
Result: Blazing Phoenix Revival.
I shattered Azidahaka’s barrier with Blazing Phoenix Revival, then immediately flew high into the sky with Seung-hyung. His face, ten years younger, expressed relief as we ascended above Black Bible. I analyzed the building structures, finding them largely unchanged from memory.
“You’ve worked hard! Time for you to return!!”
“Master?!”
I hurled Seung-hyung toward the exit building. He plummeted through the dimensional gate leading to Earth, disappearing into the black portal.
“Now, let’s have some fun, just us.”
“You, you–!!”
With another Blazing Phoenix Revival, Azidahaka’s scorched face appeared. She summoned multiple heads, severing her own necks dramatically. The heads flew everywhere, and I tossed them to the ground before they exploded.
Boom! BOOM!!
Magic surged as powerful explosions rocked the area. Simultaneously, countless Azidahakas appeared from all directions.
“””You’re dead!!”””
“Wow, Azidahaka has so many clones. If all these spread outside, every man on Earth might have slept with her once, ha ha.”
Azidahaka multiplied like cockroaches. The problem was, each clone possessed combat abilities equivalent to an S-Rank special ability user. The only silver lining was the magic limit restricting how many clones she could summon outside Black Bible.
‘If she unleashed all her clones, she truly could fight one-on-one against the entire human population.’
Fighting methods varied, but Azidahaka’s clones were overwhelming. Even with enslaved monsters aiding her, they swarmed me from all sides.
“Then I need to find the real one, Maamryong.”
I dodged the first Azidahaka’s nails and grabbed her collar.
“Where is it?”
“Do you think I’ll tell you?!”
“Then keep quiet and die.”
Snap. I broke Azidahaka’s neck. Immediately, I sensed claws aiming for my wings and disengaged them, free-falling toward the ground.
Kee-hee-hee!!
If hell existed, this was it. Excess of anything, even beautiful women, loses its charm when they swarm like bees with nothing on.
Sssshh! Sssshh!
Naked Azidahakas lunged at me wildly. Spreading my wings in a circle to protect myself, they clawed at the feathers, tearing them apart.
‘Would an eagle beat a giant hornet swarm?’
A random analogy, but fitting for the situation. I’d sent Seung-hyung outside, leaving me alone with Azidahaka in the Forbidden City.
‘If I catch the queen bee, the game’s over.’
Not the fake queen bee Azidahaka, but the real main body and weakness, Maamryong, needed to be found. The pitch-black world wasn’t shadow-covered; it was filled with Azidahakas making it appear so.
‘Perfect for looting cubes.’
[Shall we pay a visit then?]
Whoosh!
Huge fiery wings unfurled to either side. Empowered with raw magic, my wings grew dozens of meters long.
“Kiiaaah!!”
The Azidahakas struck by my wings burned in blue flames. Their flesh turned red-hot, bones exposed, and soon they dissolved into mist.
[This is ridiculous.]
One wingbeat created hundreds of corpses that vanished instantly. Upon transforming into my monster form, the Azidahakas surrounded me in a perfect circle.
“””Ohoho! You’re like a rat trapped in poison!!”””
[Who’s calling whom trashy? Your line is so cliché.]
Huh?
All the Azidahakas froze simultaneously. Their stares, though vacant, carried a hint of fear—but it wasn’t enough to intimidate me.
[Being cooped up here all day making cakes leaves you friendless.]
“D-don’t talk nonsense!!”
The nearest Azidahaka flared up, shouting. I shot toward her at full speed.
“Kiiaaah?!”
Once again, her hair was grabbed. Though protected by magic, it resisted burning, and she didn’t sever her own neck this time.
[You’re the ‘main’ one, aren’t you?]
“How do you…?!”
[The loner smell is strongest from you.]
I soared high into the sky with Azidahaka in tow. No matter how many clones the cube created, there had to be a main Azidahaka overseeing everything.
[Shall we meet the real Maamryong then?]
“Hmph, go ahead, you won’t find it anyway… KIAAAAH!!”
I circled the entire Forbidden City with Azidahaka in hand. The ancient fantasy city’s exterior, except for the central spire, looked almost identical.
Kiiaaaaaa!!
The Azidahakas gathered toward the spire. They hovered like clouds, seemingly determined to stop my ascent.
[Hmm.]
“Why are you smiling?!”
[Would a lonely loser like Maamryong live in the center of the city?]
I flew to the outskirts of the city with Azidahaka, landing near the most rundown building—one overshadowed by neighboring structures, barely receiving sunlight—and its basement!
BOOM!!
Surrounded by dust, I detected a faint trace of Maamryong beneath.
[I’ve come to rescue you.]
In the haze, like in the original story, a pitiful queen bound by shackles at the wrists, raised toward the ceiling, awaited—
“Damn.”
…Instead, the captured queen lay tied to a bed, naked and in missionary position.
