It’s been a while since I had such a nostalgic dream.
“Yoo Eun-ha, are you going to walk around with me today?”
“Yeah, I planned to explore the gate with you today.”
“Ahh, take us with you!”
“But… Ji-an, didn’t you have to retake a test today because of insufficient grades? Sister always says you’d be a great student if you could just pass the exams…”
“Then ask them to lower the difficulty of the test.”
“Uh… Seo Ji-an, if the test difficulty were lowered to the point where you could pass normally, probably everyone in the school would pass it too, right?”
“Ecclesia, you’re against me too? Ah-reum! Help me…!”
“………..ZZZ”
“……Unh.”
Seo Ji-an spent enjoyable days at Raon Academy, chatting happily with friends like Ecclesia.
– Squeak…
“Eun-ha, are you ready to go?”
“Sister!”
However, this time, there was someone beside her—her sister. Unlike the memories of her regression, her sister gave off a friendly and gentle impression.
On the desk with a nameplate that read [Student Council President Yoon Se-ah], Yoon Se-ah was seen dealing with paperwork, looking tired.
Then, the image appeared—Yoo Eun-ha herself handing a fatigue recovery potion to Yoon Se-ah, causing a smile to naturally form on her lips.
If only she could live according to this dream, how wonderful it would be.
But that thought shattered as soon as the next scene unfolded.
The academy was constantly under threat from the Seven Demons and their subordinates.
However, the imagined figure of Yoon Se-ah fighting beside her was nowhere to be found. Instead, all she could see were memories of Yoon Se-ah dealing with severely wounded clones after their departures.
Her eyes, though not as lifeless and murky as those of the dead, seemed to be growing dimmer as if losing something.
Every time they left, the Demon’s underlings would attack, gradually draining life from Yoon Se-ah’s gaze.
The academy engulfed in flames, a woman clad in pitch-black armor combating a dark knight. It was unmistakably Yoon Se-ah.
Her eyes had lost any trace of life long ago, her lavender hair faded, whitened, and turned gray—a shocking sight—but despite this, Yoon Se-ah continued forward, surrounding herself with starlight and charging at the dark knight with a blazing crystalline sword.
After plunging that luminous crystal sword into the massive knight’s chest, she muttered something and collapsed onto the fallen knight’s body.
And finally, Yoo Eun-ha and her friends rushed to the fallen Yoon Se-ah, returning to the academy just in time…
“Sister, please… Sister!!”
As they lifted her limp body, Yoon Se-ah’s arm fell lifelessly to the ground, her dimly glowing eyes now completely dull and lifeless.
“No… No!!”
And in a panic, what Yoo Eun-ha saw was…
“……Did you wake up? You were murmuring quite loudly in your sleep.”
There she was—Yoon Se-ah, holding a notepad for recording data, with various bizarre devices strapped to her hands and arms.
…
…
…
‘What’s wrong?’
Due to the instruction to avoid excessive magical power usage until her return to the academy, her body was equipped with three restriction orbs.
It seemed like this instruction would still apply once she returned to the academy—continuing to wear these three artifacts.
Since the restriction orbs could also be used to restrain others, she didn’t mind them too much.
‘Really, why did I receive three of them?’
Still, thanks to Eve’s assurance that she could liberate her powers appropriately for the enemy’s level this time, it was easier to destroy things.
First, the choker around her neck.
It completely absorbed her magical power and dispersed it into the atmosphere as mana particles. According to Eve, she could detach it whenever she wanted and use it to restrain others instead.
Next, the second restriction device—the bracelet.
Even if she undid her bracelet to start unlocking her power, the earring would keep her output restricted to about 50%. She was told the button could adjust it from 30%, 40%, up to 70%, but without it, she couldn’t control gravity anyway, so it made little difference.
The third restriction device was the earring.
This device restrained the use of Mephisto’s remnants. If she were to remove this, it would send an alarm to Eve, signaling a truly dangerous situation.
‘I must use them well.’
Suddenly, she remembered the new abilities she’d developed, alongside the various gems she’d created, explained to Eve.
‘Really, I flipped out when I saw that.’
Even now, the sight of her status window still haunts her memory.

The skill <Crystalization (S)> originally belonging to Azathoth had transformed into <Crystal Maker (S)>, and her magical power level had pierced through the A+ barrier, without even using Mephisto’s remnants.
Though her Health stat has dropped slightly… it makes little difference whether it’s D or F anyway. Especially because, thanks to <Recovery (S)>, she can survive as long as she doesn’t take fatal blows.
‘Slowly, I can definitely tell my body isn’t normal.’
Based on instinct, she concluded that she absorbed part of Azathoth’s remains after being struck by his spear.
Azathoth’s final attack was a suicidal move where he compressed his entire body into a spear and hurled it—something Yoo Eun-ha was supposed to take but which she instead absorbed.
‘In a game, that would be a completely impossible function…’
Crystalization, a skill that made Azathoth relatively easier to defeat by shedding pieces when trying to seal his abilities—this skill had now entered her body as <Crystal Maker>.
Honestly, Yoo Eun-ha had believed it was possible to gain skills since both she and Seo Ji-an had brought UR-level skills from the past. However, implanting a piece of a Demon’s body was an extremely perilous endeavor.
There was a risk of losing control of her own body to the Demons that had invaded her. There was the danger of uncontrolled rage outbreaks and unknown side effects which she would have to live with.
Still, the fortunate part was… thus far, the newfound power seemed to remain obedient to her will.
‘Could it be due to the excessive injection of monster parts and blood from the past…?’
After absorbing part of Azathoth, using Mephisto’s power caused far less agony. It seemed her body was growing more accustomed to handling this power.
‘…Perhaps, I’m slowly merging with it.’
The frequency of seizures when using the Magic Eye had greatly decreased. There were even days when the seizure manifested as mere dizziness.
Abnormally fast recovery speed, overwhelming magical output for her age, and the presence of remnants of the Final Boss and one of the Seven Demons within her body.
Could such a being still be classified as a ‘human’?
She could easily be categorized as an S-class monster destined for extermination.
‘Though, who cares, as long as I don’t go berserk…’
That was all she needed.
However, Eve seemingly disapproved. Eve made every effort to limit her use of Mephisto’s and other Demonic powers.
Hence, thanks to Eve’s creation of the three restriction devices in just three days, she now found herself wearing them even at home.
While she had removed the choker immediately as it felt suffocating, the other two devices were surprisingly useful.
‘So, since I didn’t have much else to do, I was testing the artifacts I made on Yoo Eun-ha…’
Since wearing the restriction devices would interfere with my data output due to their nature of breaking down magical power, I decided to test them on Yoo Eun-ha while she was asleep—but she woke up only ten minutes after I equipped them.
And for some reason…
“That… Miss Eun-ha, even following me to the restroom is a bit…”
“Sister, don’t abandon me… I, I made a big mistake… Please.”
‘Huh? What nightmare did she have?’
Why had Yoo Eun-ha, who was a killer after her, now become so attached to her?
And in such a precarious mental state too.
To think that just a few days ago, she was an assassin hellbent on killing her…
What an unexpected reversal of roles.
Anyway, with her mental health stabilized through Yoon Se-ah’s tireless mental management, they were able to return to the academy the next day.
“Um… Sister, I’m really sorry for what happened back then.”
“Not at all. If I were in the same situation and someone had killed me three times, I would have come back intending to kill them immediately after regressing.”
Through her painstaking mental rehabilitation, Yoon Se-ah managed to restore Yoo Eun-ha’s mental state and returned to the academy shortly after.
