〈 Chapter 466, Part 1, Episode 22 〉

“Come to think of it, we fought over such trivial things.”
“What?”
He pulled me into an embrace from behind and whispered into my ear. Since we were both naked, I could feel his warmth all the more clearly, every breath and exhalation transmitting through my back.
“Hero or villain?”
“Wasn’t that issue settled a long time ago?”
He rested his chin on my shoulder with a mocking tone. Though his voice carried an air of annoyance as if he was tired of hearing it, we had genuinely fought fiercely over this. He must have died at least two hundred times during that process alone.
“I decided to walk the villain’s path because I knew you’d get frustrated. If there are people out there badmouthing you, I’ll burn them all.”
“You were so preoccupied worrying about me that you forgot I’m the one controlling your body.”
“I’ve always thought this way, so I suggested it. Think about those hero paparazzi bastards—how annoying they are, right? They’d want to rip everyone’s heads off but can’t control themselves. You should just burn them all or make them forget about even thinking that way.”
He strongly disliked the idea of my image being sold by paparazzi and spread everywhere. Just like how he wanted to monopolize me as the Blazing Phoenix, he wanted exclusive ownership over my Flame form.
“Do you not want to show yourself like that?”
“Of course not. Ideally, I’d prefer to always stay in monster form.”
“…Won’t that be mentally exhausting? Constantly dealing with destructive and murderous impulses. Look at Seok Harang when she went berserk; despite Light Blade suppressing her for twenty years, she still destroyed her beloved hometown of Busan with just a flick of her finger.”
“It’s fine if you focus on one purpose and steel your will.”
He crossed his hands and grabbed my breasts from either side, his left hand holding my right breast and vice versa. I had adjusted my chest size to a D-cup, which he seemed to enjoy though he never explicitly mentioned it.
“If I give up on becoming a monster, others might see your appearance.”
“You’re being too possessive. It’s not like I’m going anywhere.”
“Spiritually, you’re trapped in my core forever, but physically, it’s like exposing you due to me. I can’t stand the thought of others just looking at you. In the original story, didn’t you first appear during the aircraft carrier scene? Before that, you were hiding your face with a cleric’s veil.”
“This?”
I summoned flames to conjure the image of the high-ranking Phoenix from his memory: a mysterious beauty cloaked in green veils under a black shadow, wearing a mix of white and blue clerical robes with a hood.
“The covert Blazing Phoenix, after taking down Rusalka, dramatically appeared aboard the USS Enterprise, removing her hood amidst marines’ salutes! Then leaping onto the F-35 cockpit glass, transforming into her monstrous form and flying to Seoul in just a minute—the strongest of all monsters!”
“That’s your monster form and true self. What I mean is your human form, this pretty little body.”
“Stop teasing my nipples… ugh…”
I tried to distract him with nonsense, but it didn’t work. He deliberately took strands of hair falling between my cleavage and teased my nipples with them. Though it tickled slightly, it felt good, so I let him continue.
“I don’t want other guys seeing your body.”
“Even if it means suffering in monster form?”
“Rather that than anything else.”
“Hmm…”
He says it’s fine, but it’s not fine for me. Leaving him in a state where he wants to burn anyone who bothers him isn’t acceptable. And I’m not his figurine.
“How about you reconsider?”
“How?”
“If you end up choosing between monster form or human form, you’ll definitely pick monster form, won’t you? Even though you could take the human form of Baek Cheonghwa.”
“Obviously.”
He strongly resisted appearing in human form.
He could choose between the female form of me, the Blazing Phoenix, or the male form of Baek Cheonghwa. Given spirits or officers reside within the core, the external body is crafted from magic power and can be customized endlessly with intent.
“Both of us dislike the male form, so let’s skip that. We know why, right?”
“Because I’m scared heroines would fall for me if I go around as a man. Specifically Yuna. She’d immediately fall for my looks, figure, and voice.”
“Exactly. Just as you worry about that, I also fear the same happening to you.”
Neither of us liked the male form. Like in the original story, interacting with people regardless of gender would cause attraction toward him.
“So, you should move using my body.”
“Nope.”
“Why? Is it because of the tone?”
“I don’t want other men to see that body.”
He pointed at the cleric outfit from the original Phoenix, wrinkling his nose. Though technically a cleric’s robe, it was designed to accentuate the bust and hips, making a strong sexual appeal that was far too explicit for his liking.
“You don’t like it even though it covers most of the body?”
“It shows off your curves too much. No way.”
“…Hmph.”
While his attachment to me made me happy in many ways, this level of obsession wasn’t healthy.
“Whose are you?”
“Yours.”
“And whose am I?”
“Mine.”
“Good. We’ve become inseparable beings, haven’t we?”
I guided his hands caressing my breasts down to my lower abdomen.
“But tell me, are you really going to keep me hidden? As some secret lover inside your mind, Shin-ra? That’s not right. You want to flaunt that I’m yours, and I want the world to know you’re my Phoenix.”
“That sentiment makes perfect sense. But moving using your body… hmm…”
He interlaced his fingers with mine, pressing ten fingers against my lower belly, making me feel a warm flush.
“I can proudly display that you’re mine.”
“And the whole world will yearn for the person on the screen but realize I already belong to you. Puhehe.”
Every heroine eventually goes through this event, the coming-out moment. The protagonist declares their relationship with the heroine in front of everyone, solidifying their romantic route.
“Phoenix belongs to Chang-yeom. Blazing Phoenix. Shout it out to the whole world. Let them know only you can share a bed with such a sleek and beautiful lady.”
I turned my head and kissed his cheek. Surprisingly quick, he turned and covered my lips with his own. Our tongues intertwined, and I subtly flipped our interlocked hands so our palms faced each other, naturally placing them on my thigh.
Lips met, tongues searched, and as his tongue slipped into my mouth, seeking mine, I hid mine against the roof. Slowly, he probed deeper, brushing my tongue base before slowly sweeping upward.
“Hmm.”
Tap tap.
Unable to resist his tongue knocking, I finally matched my tip to his. Gradually, our tongues intertwined like pretzels. The grip of our interlocked hands grew stronger as the kiss continued.
About ten minutes later, following his signal, I broke the kiss first. A silver thread stretched between our lips, which I playfully retracted into my mouth with a flick of my tongue.
“Haa… seems like the more we kiss, the worse my skills get. You used to be more aggressive with Yuna, didn’t you?”
“You’re the one who’s gotten slower. This way, it feels like all my teachings have gone to waste… right?”
“What did you say? You don’t fully follow what I taught you either. Stop speaking so kindly. Sounds like someone who doesn’t know proper manners.”
“I’ll shut you up with a kiss if you keep babbling nonsense. Like on our first night. Hehe.”
Maybe I shouldn’t have provoked him. His playful grin annoyed me slightly. Determined to prove his kissing skills hadn’t diminished, he sucked on the nape of my neck, leaving a dark hickey.
“…What do you mean? I recovered those memories ages ago!”
“Your anger confirms you couldn’t kiss properly then. Or rather, focusing on kissing while doing other things was too much, huh? Hehe.”
“……Isn’t that obvious? Kissing is important now, isn’t it?”
To express my dissatisfaction, I tightened my grip on his waist. He frowned but smiled faintly. Seeing him smile, my own lips twitched, barely suppressing a laugh. Laughing now would ruin my attempt to appear angry.
“Do you know why I want to kiss leisurely?”
“Of course. Because you’re being squeezed hard from within, right?”
“Right. When kissing top and bottom, it’s hard to focus on both sides, isn’t it? Puhehe.”
“In that case, there’s nothing to do but focus here. I agree.”
Bang!
He thrust strongly upward. The intense sensation coursed through my entire body, and his affectionate movements filled me with pleasure. Despite nearing ninety thousand repetitions, his powerful, loving actions always delighted me.
“Haa… haa… we… uh… were still talking…”
“While doing this, wasn’t that our basic style?”
“W-well, yes, but… hey, are we betting again?”
I teased his pinky while challenging him to another bet. Confidently, he smirked.
“How many times are you planning to challenge this time?”
“Hmph, no matter how many times, as long as I succeed in the end, that’s all that matters. Right… if you come first this time, you’ll move in my body, got it?”
“Sure. Bring it on.”
He released our interlocked hands, gripping my hips firmly with a sly smile.
“I’m not letting you win easily, right?”
“Hmph, not a chance, right?! Ow!”
Before I could finish my sentence, he thrust deep into me, reaching the highest point, leaving me speechless.
Ah.
Truthfully, it had started from the very beginning.
Finally, after reviving eleven times, I received his deep climax.
What?
First night?
“……King Cry!”
Only the result remains—”We did it.”

“You lied to me. We can have sex without syncing.”
I tightly squeezed his member with my hand. Strictly speaking, it wasn’t lying, but even without synchronization, we could freely confirm our love in “this world.”
“It’s different outside. Here, we’re still in the spiritual realm, aren’t we?”
“But isn’t there hardly any difference between here and there?”
“Different.”
He reached around my waist and cupped my chest. This time, I reduced the size to almost flat, akin to the S-E-B A Trio, but he specifically requested it, saying he sometimes wanted to see a slimmer figure.
“If we actually do it outside, there’s a chance of pregnancy, isn’t there?”
“…Are you implying you want to have kids now, beyond just doing it?”
“Not a bad idea. As long as the world finds peace.”
With the world on the brink of destruction, does having children hold any meaning? To my fundamental question, he confidently smiled and kissed my shoulder.
“We’ll save the world. That’s why… we’ll spend our lives together, right?”
“…Where do you plan to live?”
“Anywhere. As long as I have you.”
His gaze remained unwavering.
