“Ice Dragon King, why not give this potion a try? It should heal all your injuries.”

Gaia decided to take a gamble and see if this potion left by Aierjisi really had magical powers like her.

“Huh? What kind of potion is this? I’ve never seen such a thing before.”

The Ice Dragon King looked at the potion Gaia handed him, feeling a strange unease as he gazed at the purple liquid inside. It felt too extraordinary for comfort.

“It’s a recovery potion from the Blood Clan Princess. They say it can revive a person even if they’re on the brink of death for up to twenty minutes. It’s extremely precious, which is why I haven’t used it until now. Ice Dragon King, maybe you should drink it?”

Gaia explained how he obtained the potion and its remarkable healing properties to the Ice Dragon King.

“Oh? Blood Clan Princess? I heard that the Blood Clan mysteriously vanished long ago. How is there still one remaining in this world?”

The mention of the Blood Clan Little Princess piqued the Ice Dragon King’s interest. He never expected there would still be survivors.

“Yes, that’s what she said. But… it seems she hasn’t actually shown any Blood Clan abilities in front of me, so I’m not sure if she’s the real deal. However, since she was able to communicate using Ailin’s signal, I think she’s trustworthy.”

Although Gaia wasn’t certain about the identity of the Blood Clan Little Princess, he chose to trust her because of the signal.

“Alright, if you say so, I’ll drink this potion and see what happens.”

Believing Gaia’s judgment, the Ice Dragon King opened the potion and drank it down.

“How does it feel? Is your body feeling better?”

Gaia anxiously inquired about the Ice Dragon King’s condition, expecting quick recovery. However, the Ice Dragon King’s injuries didn’t seem to improve at all.

“Um… not really. Gaia, are you sure this potion is the real deal? I don’t feel anything happening.”

The Ice Dragon King was puzzled. He had just consumed the potion but felt no change. Was it ineffective for dragons?

“Well… I’m not sure, but since she gave me this potion, it should have some effect. Wait a moment, I’ll contact her and find out what’s going on.”

Gaia calmly took out his crystal communicator and dialed Aierjisi’s number.

“Hello, Gaia. What do you need? I’m busy with Yake’s rehab training, so make it quick.”

“Aier, I wanted to ask if the recovery potion you gave me is legit?”

“Of course it’s genuine! Why? Did it not have any effect?”

“It’s not me who drank it; it’s the Ice Dragon King. He was seriously injured, so I gave it to him. But it seems like he’s not recovering at all.”

As Gaia spoke, he kept an eye on the Ice Dragon King, inspecting his wounds.

“You might need to wait a bit. If the recipient is a dragon, the effects might take longer to kick in—maybe around 10 to 20 seconds or so.”

“Is that so?”

Gaia watched the Ice Dragon King’s wounds closely, counting down in his mind to see if anything special would happen in half a minute.

“Oh… oh no, oh no no no no no no no no!!!”

About 15 seconds later, the Ice Dragon King suddenly doubled over, clutching his stomach and kneeling on the ground.

“Ice Dragon King? What’s happening?”

Seeing the Ice Dragon King in pain made Gaia panic. Could this be a side effect of the potion?

“It seems the recovery has started. Gaia, you should back off a little; you might get hurt otherwise.”

From the communicator, Aierjisi heard the Ice Dragon King’s cries. If everything was going as expected, the recovery should be beginning now.

“What the heck is going on?”

Gaia watched in bewilderment as the Ice Dragon King’s body swelled. His flesh seemed to be expanding uncontrollably, and scales began to shed.

“Oh! I’ve never felt this refreshing before! So this is the power of the recovery potion? I can’t believe how good this feels, I’m absolutely flying high!”

“Ice Dragon King? What are you talking about? This isn’t a good situation for you!”

Gaia stared, bewildered at the Ice Dragon King who seemed about to explode, still rambling incoherently. It was utterly incomprehensible.

“Don’t mind it; this is part of the recovery process. Just keep your mouth shut and watch how this Ice Dragon King gets healed by my potion.”

Aierjisi scolded Gaia through the communicator. If he couldn’t comprehend what was happening, then he should just be quiet and observe.

“This recovery potion I specifically concocted isn’t just for show. Its effects are quite powerful!”

“Oh! Oh! Oh!”

The Ice Dragon King continued to roar as his body expanded even more until the palace could no longer contain him.

“Um… what is happening?”

Watching the Ice Dragon King’s body look like it would explode at any moment, Gaia ducked behind the throne with Ouxs, peeking out cautiously.

Finally, the Ice Dragon King reached his limit, unable to swell any more. His tissues began to squirm grotesquely. Just as Gaia had feared, the Ice Dragon King’s body exploded, sending shockwaves throughout the surroundings and catapulting Gaia and Ouxs, along with the throne, into the air.

“Whoa!”

Gaia cried out as he fell to the ground.
