A little Su Hua was there.
“Mr., I didn’t expect that you could make a cake so well on your first try.” The cake chef lavished praise without reservation.
“Hmph.” Lin Xuan curled his lips; this cake, Su Hua should like it, right?

Lin Xuan returned to Night Garden with the cake. As he walked towards the villa, he overheard a few maids chatting.
“The young miss’s condition when she had an episode was truly terrifying—eyes red, recognizing no relatives, and her combat power skyrocketed.”
“Ah, I heard that ever since the young miss was brought back to the Su family, she’s been like this. Later, they searched everywhere for doctors, but nothing worked.”
“I wonder what happened to the young miss during the time she was abducted.”
“Shh, we shouldn’t talk about this anymore. Butler Wang said not to tell Young Master Lin about this. If Young Master Lin finds out, we’ll be in serious trouble.”
Lin Xuan frowned.

“What happened to Su Hua?”
Lin Xuan’s voice suddenly rang out, startling the two maids. “L-Lord Lin,” they stammered, not daring to look up.
“Speak! What’s going on?” Lin Xuan asked again.
The maids trembled as they said, “We’re sorry, Lord Lin, we can’t tell you.”
Lin Xuan realized the maids weren’t telling him because Su Hua or Butler Wang ordered them not to. He didn’t press them further.
He remembered the worried look Butler Wang had when he left the bakery.
“Butler Wang, where is he?” Lin Xuan turned to ask.
“He’s on the third floor,” one maid replied.
Lin Xuan placed the cake in the living room and quickly headed to the third floor. As soon as he went up, he saw Butler Wang and Secretary Jiang standing at the end of the corridor outside a room.
This room was always closed off. Lin Xuan had lived in Night Garden for three years and had never entered it.
Jiang Qing’s eyes flickered with panic the moment she saw Lin Xuan.
“Lord Lin,” she pretended to act nonchalant.
“Where’s Su Hua?” Lin Xuan asked.
“President Su has gone out to discuss business cooperation,” Jiang Qing lied without hesitation.
“Is she inside this room? And what illness does she have?” Lin Xuan asked seriously.
Butler Wang and Jiang Qing exchanged glances and remained silent.
“Butler Wang, Secretary Jiang, I am her boyfriend. I have a responsibility to know all of this.” Lin Xuan spoke gravely.
Butler Wang hesitated for a while before finally revealing everything to Lin Xuan. He would find out sooner or later, it couldn’t be hidden much longer.
“The young miss is sick, a mental illness. She has at least one episode every month, sometimes up to four. Every time she has an episode, she has a bloodthirsty desire, so she locks herself in a sealed room and harms herself.” Butler Wang’s voice was choked with emotion.
Originally, it only happened occasionally, but after Lord Lin moved into Night Garden, the young miss’s condition worsened.
“Why didn’t I know…” Lin Xuan’s voice was hoarse. From the previous life to this one, he knew nothing from start to finish.
No wonder, except when she was on business trips, he often couldn’t see Su Hua.
Butler Wang answered, “Because the young miss feared you’d see her current state and made us hide it from you. So, Lord Lin, please pretend you don’t know.”

“Yes, President Su.” A high-ranking official agreed and left the office. Before closing the door, he glanced at Su Hua with concern.
Walking to the secretary’s office, the senior staff asked, “Secretary Jiang, did something happen to President Su? I just saw her eyes were very red, and her mood seemed off.”
Jiang Qing clenched her fists instantly but didn’t show too much panic.
“It might be that President Su isn’t feeling well physically. I’ll check on her, Director Liu, please go back first.” Jiang Qing calmly watched the senior staff leave.
As soon as the senior staff entered the elevator, Jiang Qing hurriedly walked toward the office.
Su Hua had already put on her suit jacket and stumbled toward the office door.
“President Su!” Jiang Qing rushed to support her.
“Go back,” Su Hua gritted her teeth.
“Okay.”
Jiang Qing supported her down in the president’s exclusive elevator and drove her back to Night Garden at breakneck speed.
At the cake shop.
Butler Wang stood by watching Lin Xuan make the cake, his face filled with relief, tears blurring his vision.
It wasn’t easy. The young miss’s sincere feelings finally received their due reward.
He thought the young miss would be lonely forever, but unexpectedly, Lord Lin noticed her kindness toward him.
Butler Wang’s phone rang. He took the call outside: “Secretary Jiang.”
“Butler Wang, President Su is having an episode!” Jiang Qing’s anxious voice came through the phone.
“I’m coming back immediately!” Butler Wang’s expression changed drastically. Every episode was excruciating torture for the young miss.
“Jiang Qing,” Su Hua leaned against the car seat, painfully speaking, “Don’t let him know.”
She didn’t want him to see her terrifying side.
Jiang Qing nodded, “Alright.”
She relayed Su Hua’s words to Butler Wang.
“Alright, I’ll help keep it from Lord Lin for the young miss.” Butler Wang sighed.
After putting away his phone, he returned to the back of the cake shop. “Young Master Lin, I have something urgent to attend to, I need to go back.”
“Alright.” Lin Xuan nodded. The cake was already baked, and following the pastry chef’s instructions, he carefully spread cream on it.
Butler Wang returned to Night Garden.
“Secretary Jiang, where’s the young miss?”
“President Su locked herself in the sealed room,” Secretary Jiang said worriedly.
This sealed room was tightly shut, pitch black, and eerily cold.
Every time the young miss had an episode, she locked herself in here, emerging battered and bruised.
They could only watch helplessly as the young miss suffered like this, powerless to do anything.
Neurological doctors, psychologists, and various other doctors had been consulted, but none of it worked!
“Butler Wang, when will President Su get better?” Jiang Qing pursed her lips and asked.
“I don’t know,” Butler Wang sighed. “This is a mental illness, and such illnesses require treatment from the heart.”
Jiang Qing thought of something, her eyes brightening slightly. “Butler Wang, what if we let Lord Lin try? Only he can enter the young miss’s heart.”
Butler Wang shook his head. “I’m worried that Lord Lin will be scared by the young miss’s appearance and revert to wanting to escape from her. That would only worsen the young miss’s condition.”
Jiang Qing’s gaze dimmed.
She looked up at the tightly closed door of the sealed room.
