<■■■ - KR - 1 Acquisition Report>
At 13:10, entry into ■■ – KR was initiated, and search for ■■■ – KR – 1 began.
At 15:17, reached the deeper area of ■■ – KR. Simultaneous encounters with ■■ – KR – B and ■■■ – KR – 1 occurred. Under the on-site commander’s judgment, suppression fire on ■■ – KR – B and capture of ■■■ – KR – 1 were executed simultaneously.
Unreported intelligent movements were observed from ■■■ – KR – 1.
– Behaviors such as using ■■ – KR – B as a shield were noted, suggesting intelligence.
– It is presumed that awareness of the surroundings was demonstrated by blending in with the subdued ■■ – KR – B.
At 15:47, the silhouette of ■■■ – KR – 1 was revealed simultaneously with the regeneration of ■■ – KR – B.
The transformed appearance of ■■■ – KR – 1 is judged to be that of a small girl’s silhouette.
– Cross-referencing testimonies from the agents confirmed numerous reports describing it as resembling a small girl.
– This differs from the previously assumed scenarios.
– Photographs taken on-site are attached.
<(A blurred photo presuming ■■■ - KR - 1 hanging from the nostrils of ■■ - KR - B) (Censored)>
At 15:49, due to the abnormal situation, evacuation from ■■ – KR began on the judgment of the on-site commander. Acquisition of ■■■ – KR – 1 failed.
At 17:20, after evacuation from ■■ – KR, the sealing of the entrance began.
>> At 17:25, the sealing of the entrance of ■■ – KR was completed.
– We hereby request analysis support based on these findings.
– Re-evaluation of the identification name ■■■ – KR – 1 is recommended.
End of Report.

<Follow-Up Procedures on ■■■ - KR - 1 Acquisition Mission>
1. Ensure thorough monitoring of the entrance to ■■ – KR.
Verify periodically the nearby unapproved entrances due to the existence of one near the entrance.
– Refer to the 10th item of Study Report 9 on ■■ – KR for details.
2. Analytical Division dispatch request approved.
<Nonetheless, personally, I believe it won't yield much (Censored)>
3. If after seven days of search ■■■ – KR – 1 remains unfound, consider expanding the search area assuming a potential escape from ■■ – KR.
<I have a feeling things might escalate, but isn't it thrilling? (Censored)>
4. Accepting the request, recategorize ■■■ – KR – 1 as an independent singularity 特異點 from ■■ – KR, assigning a new code and designated handler.
<It will likely be me, probably. (Censored)>
5. Considering the possibility that the civilian presumed merged with ■■■ – KR – 1 may widen the search area, attach relevant data.
<Just in case. (Censored)>
End of Procedures.

<Research Report No. 9 on ■■ - KR>
10.
By the entrance of ■■ – KR, water flows into an area where iron grates are stuck. Only small creatures, such as the No. 1 entity or No. 3 and No. 5 entities within ■■ – KR, might pass through this narrow passage.
(Photograph of tightly-packed iron grates in the waterway)
The destination of the flowing water remains unknown. Therefore, we decided to release numerous signal transmitters to investigate.
(Photograph of personnel gathered, dispersing transmitters)
However, since no reaction was detected in the sewers, we assumed the signals would disappear due to the singularity’s characteristics.
Conversely, we received a transmission from outside ■■ – KR, and confirmed through deployed agents that it was indeed one of our transmitters.
The water, therefore, appears to be “released” elsewhere, though this is not entirely certain.
Based on these findings, we judged it best to conduct further experiments, including biological trials, to gain clarity.
Experiment request denied.

*
I had found an exit, but I could not go through it.
The moment they exited, it was like they instantly locked it with a bang, plunging everything into darkness.
Even if it had been open, I thought I wouldn’t have been able to go out that way.
Whoever they were, they seemed cautious, probably guarding the exit tightly.
Banging on it and expecting access seemed unlikely, so escaping through the same exit they used would be almost impossible.
The only option left to me was…
I stared at the tightly-packed iron grates next to the exit they had used.
The sound of dripping and stagnant water echoed through the area, and beyond the grates was pitch blackness.
Compared to the area with the small light bulb, this was something else entirely.
As if saying, “This place is different from the one beyond.”
Drip… drip…
It sounded like a waterfall.
The iron bars seemed impassable for a human body.
But… with my body now, I might actually be able to squeeze through the bars.
But… should I?
That’s the problem.
Still, there’s no other choice if I want to leave this place.
Somehow, these people easily found the same passage I was struggling to find before.
It felt like there was something I didn’t know about this place… unless I had some kind of status window, there was no way for me to know.
…And I probably don’t have time.
They were surely coming back.
But…
Could letting myself be captured be a strategy?
That thought did cross my mind, but the image of “that group” wasn’t good.
What was once a joke or fictional setting now felt like reality. Fiction had become non-fiction.
If I were sucked into their grasp, countless experiments would surely be waiting for me.
Maybe it’d be better to hide down here in the sewers.
A truly bottom-of-the-barrel life…
In this serious situation, all sorts of silly thoughts kept swirling in my head.
Perhaps my mind was still too ordinary to fully grasp the gravity of the situation.
It crossed my mind that proving I was originally human might convince them to help me.
It was very tempting.
As tempting as the desire to immediately bang on the exit and shout, “I’m here!”
But I felt something inside warning me not to.
Even when chased by feral dogs.
Even when hanging onto the nostrils of a crocodile to perform a chin-up.
There was some indefinable instinct…
Yes, “intuition.”
I felt it and grabbed the iron grates.
The cold touch accompanied me.
Drip… drip…
Utter darkness.
Absolute, blinding darkness greeted me.
A truly terrifying and daunting scene.
…But what do I have to lose?
If I go through here and end up back in the sewers, it’ll be the lesser evil. I’ll just have to survive the uncertainty of when they’ll come back.
But if I somehow find myself in an entirely new place… It could be the best outcome. Escaping here, disappearing, so they can’t find me.
Of course, in the worst case, I might die.
I decided to trust my soft and surprisingly sturdy body.
Since it’s water flowing, it’ll be like water flow, right?
Let’s think positively.
I firmly pushed my body through the iron bars.
Feeling like I had become a villain in some old movie, I passed through the grates.
I immediately felt an irresistible current pulling me in.
Instinctively, I clung to the bars, but then loosened my sticky grip.
A company employee who once longed for exploration, adventure, and mystery was finally embarking on the great adventure I had always yearned for.
Surrendering to the flow, it felt like sliding down a somewhat large water slide. However, it was completely enclosed, and no light penetrated.
It was impossible to enjoy the experience, as I couldn’t see anything, let alone determine if I was floating downstream or falling.
All I knew was the cold sensation against my squishy body, indicating I was still submerged.
The powerful current dragged my small body somewhere.
Perfect darkness, with no variation in sight.
…If I had been human, I would have surely panicked and struggled in terror by now.
Suddenly, I felt something pierce my body.
I flinched as information presumed to be its taste flooded my mind.
It was akin to sucking on Lego pieces, so I spat it out.
I had no idea what had entered my body, but I spat out everything that followed.
As thoughts of fear or excitement gradually turned irrelevant…
Drip… drip…
I realized I was now looking up at the sky.
The familiar stench of the sewers was still present, but it was a vast sky unlike anything I’d seen before there.
The sky was not clear. It was heavy with dark clouds, shedding heavy rain.
Fat raindrops fell on my face.
The falling rain dominated my view.
They slid down my squishy body, mixing with the water flowing past me, and disappeared somewhere.
It felt like they were shedding tears on my behalf, now that I could no longer cry.
For a while, I silently stood under the rain, gazing at the sky.
Who would have thought gray skies could look so beautiful?
It was truly an experience beyond even my wildest dreams.
