Chapter 60: Heading to the Bustling City

Yin Sang gloomily looked at the strand of hair on the ground, then turned her gaze to Zhuang Chen outside the gate: “Zhuang Chen, you’re asking for death!” With a wave of her hand, her special ability surged wildly. As soon as the words left her mouth, Yin Sang suddenly cried out in pain, clutching her face. A thin line of blood seeped from where the wind blade had cut her, staining her palm red. She looked at Zhuang Chen in disbelief, her face pale.

Zhuang Chen didn’t even glance at her, instead addressing Yin Qi: “Since you won’t discipline your sister, I’ll do it for you. If she disrespects her elders like this again, I won’t just cut her face next time.” She then glanced at Yin Sang, who was glaring at her with venomous eyes, and said indifferently, “If you keep looking at me with those disgusting eyes, I’ll gouge them out.”

Yin Qi turned to Yin Sang and said, “Go find Dr. Gao.”

Yin Sang, still clutching her face, was in disbelief: “Brother?!”

Yin Qi’s brow furrowed: “Do you really want to die?”

Yin Sang’s pupils contracted, and her expression changed. She knew Zhuang Chen’s words weren’t empty threats. Zhuang Chen had always been bold, and without the constraints of the law, she was even more reckless now. Yin Sang had no choice but to swallow her humiliation, covering her face as she turned and walked towards the infirmary, not daring to look at Zhuang Chen again.

Zhuang Chen looked at Yin Qi and said, “So, are you going to open the gate for me, or should I call White Wolf to do it?”

Yin Qi glanced at Zhuang Chen, then coldly addressed the guards who were still stunned by the battle that had just exceeded their comprehension: “Open the gate.”

The guards snapped out of it and hurriedly opened the gate.

Zhuang Chen got into the car and said to Method, “It’s done.” Then she drove into the gathering place.

“Zhuang Chen, what are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be in the Capital by now?” White Wolf was only slightly surprised by Zhuang Chen’s sudden appearance before quickly regaining his composure.

Zhuang Chen’s expression darkened at the mention: “Don’t even ask. I finally got in touch with the Capital, and they sent a plane to pick me up, but it got hijacked. I almost died. If it weren’t for that little cop, you wouldn’t be seeing me right now.”

“I was wondering why you’d bring a wounded person with you at a time like this. That’s not your style,” White Wolf said. “But who’s bold enough to hijack your plane? I’d really like to meet them.”

Zhuang Chen snorted coldly: “You know them. The Falcon.”

White Wolf was taken aback: “Tsk, they’re that bold? They dared to attack you?”

Zhuang Chen said nonchalantly, “They probably thought I wouldn’t survive. Little did they know, not only did I survive, but thanks to them, I also gained a special ability. When we meet again, I’ll make them experience what it feels like to be sliced into a thousand pieces.”

White Wolf exaggeratedly shivered and said, “I definitely wouldn’t dare to cross you. But what about Ji Jiuzhe and Yi Shaoqing? Didn’t they come to Jinyong with you?” White Wolf added maliciously, “Did they get eaten by zombies?”

Zhuang Chen rolled her eyes: “Do you think Ji Jiuzhe looks like someone who’d get eaten by zombies? We got separated when we encountered a horde. Your place seems to be doing well. You’re not planning to make this your base, are you?”

“I wish,” White Wolf’s playful expression suddenly turned serious. “You must have noticed it too. It’s not just humans; the whole world is changing. I plan to gather enough supplies from the bustling city once my people develop their abilities, then leave Jinyong.”

Zhuang Chen asked, “Planning to return to the Capital?”

White Wolf said, “Where else? The military is strongest there. No matter what, the zombies won’t be able to breach the Capital.” He paused, then half-jokingly, half-seriously added, “Besides, I’ve been away from home for too long. It wouldn’t hurt to go back and visit.”
