Chapter 60: Let’s Go Home First
“Ha… Aisi-sensei, Yake. Good morning! You two are up really early. Hmm…”
Aierjisi finally managed to regain a bit of her magic power through sleep and woke up. After greeting her teacher and servant, she stretched lazily.
“Good morning, Princess.”
“Good morning, Aier.”
Both of them greeted the just-awakened Little Princess with warm wishes.
“Hmm, it smells so good! Yake, what did you buy?”
Sensing the delicious aroma wafting through the room, Aierjisi hopped off her bed and rushed to the table to see what delightful breakfast awaited her.
“Aier. First, go wash your face and brush your teeth. Didn’t my mom teach you that?”
Yake grabbed Aierjisi’s magic claw that was reaching for the bag.
“Ah. But Reina’s not here, so there’s no need to follow her rules.”
“No way! It’s for your health; you absolutely have to wash your face and brush your teeth first.”
“Ugh. But it’s such a hassle.”
“Still gotta do it. As your servant, it’s my duty to keep you healthy.”
“Fine, fine. I really don’t know what to say about you being such a stickler for things that don’t even matter!”
With a helpless shake of her head, Aierjisi pulled back her hand and turned to wash her face and brush her teeth, starting her new day.
“Sorry, Your Highness. She’s still trying to adjust to human society.”
Aisi explained to Yake that because the Blood Clan has stronger teeth than humans, the concept of brushing teeth simply doesn’t exist in their society.
“No problem. I know, Aier explained it to me when we first met. But look, now she understands the importance of brushing her teeth.”
The two watched the Little Princess washing her face and brushing her teeth in the bathroom.

Seeing Aierjisi learn so many new things after blending into human society, Aisi felt that as a member of the Blood Clan, it was time to abandon those outdated concepts and learn fresh ideas.

Seeing the “nutritious” breakfast Yake prepared for her, Aierjisi gave him a thumbs-up.
“Your Highness, are these things tasty?”
Seeing the human delicacies, Aisi leaned in closer, eyeing the steaming hot food.
“They taste pretty good! Here, Aisi-sensei, have a chicken nugget and see how it tastes.”
“Thank you, Your Highness. I won’t hold back then.”
Accepting the chicken nugget Aierjisi offered, Aisi took a piece and chewed it thoughtfully.
“Hmm. The taste is not bad, and it has a nice crunch. It’s called chicken nugget, right? I think I need to delve deeper into how this is made.”
“I don’t think that’s necessary. After all, chicken nuggets can be found in any small town, so they should be available everywhere in the human world.”
Aierjisi remarked while munching on her burger.
“No. Your Highness, after reuniting with you in this brief time, I’ve come to realize that the Blood Clan is far too behind. To restore the glory of our clan, we must adopt the culture of human society and pursue a new evolution. Therefore, chicken nuggets will be our first monumental step toward this evolution.”
Aisi raised the chicken nugget in his hand dramatically as if it were glowing, causing both Yake and Aierjisi to stare at it in disbelief.

Aierjisi silently criticized in her heart. Currently, she was a new being that combined the memories of Aierjisi and Guanyu; she was Aierjisi and Guanyu, yet not entirely either.
“Alright, breakfast is handled. Time to get down to business. Yake, go to the inn and bring Reina and the others back, then we’ll head home and check on the damage.”
“On that note, there’s no need. When I went to buy breakfast, I already ran into Mom and the others. Now Mom and Xier should have gone home first. We can just head home directly.”
“Great. Nice work! That’s my proud servant. Aisi-sensei, do you have any plans? If not, why not come back with us?”
Aierjisi shifted her focus back to Aisi-sensei.
“I currently have no objectives. I will follow your lead, Your Highness.”
“Alright, let’s go back together then! After we return, we can discuss our strategy.”
Of course, that was just talk about strategy; in reality, Yake and Aisi had no plans, meaning it was up to the player (Aierjisi) to push the main storyline forward.
“Checkout, no need for change.”
The three arrived at the inn’s lobby, and Yake boldly slammed a gold coin onto the table to pay for their room from yesterday.
“Alright, customer, we look forward to your next visit!”
Seeing the gold coin, the innkeeper was all smiles, especially since there was no need to give change back. The trio left the inn and headed straight home without lingering in town.
“Ah! My house! What happened? Why is there such a big hole here? How am I supposed to fix this…”
Returning home, they found Reina crying at the hole that Harker had smashed open yesterday. Xier was beside her, trying to pull Reina up off the floor.
“Mommy, we’re back.”
“Mommy?”
Hearing Aierjisi call Reina that, Aisi had a small reaction. After all, the queen hadn’t been confirmed dead yet, so why was this little princess already recognizing someone else as her mom?
“Brother! You’re finally back! Hurry up and help me pull Mommy off the floor! Aier, can you fix this hole? Otherwise, I think Mommy’s going to have to kneel here all day.”
Yake rushed over, grabbing Reina’s other arm along with Xier to lift her up.
“Fixing a hole is no big deal. Aisi-sensei, you can handle this, right?”
“Are you sure it’s not because you can’t do it? I remember you had a hard time learning earth magic back in the day.”
Aisi looked at Aierjisi, knowing she had ulterior motives in asking him to fix the hole.
