Chapter 68: This is the Fate of Mocking the Airport
Just when the bird was still stunned that Aierjisi could fly at a speed to match its own, Aierjisi had already extended her Magic Claw, gripping its throat tightly.
“You just mocked me about the airport, didn’t you?”
Aierjisi flashed a kind smile while clutching the bird firmly in her hand.
“Ah! What do you want? Let me go!”
The bird struggled against Aierjisi’s grip, trying to escape her Magic Claw.
However, it was utterly useless. It was simply seeking its own demise by challenging Aierjisi’s strength.
“Don’t worry. I’m a kind-hearted Little Princess after all. I won’t do anything cruel to you. But, you see, I must punish a naughty little kid like you.”
Aierjisi smiled slightly, causing the bird to be filled with terror. This girl was definitely going to do something really cruel to it.
“Now, I won’t hold back.”
With that, Aierjisi opened her mouth, revealing her Blood Clan’s sharp fangs, and bit down, drinking its blood.
“Ah! No! There… no… ahhhh!”
The bird let out a shriek as Aierjisi drained its blood. But being the benevolent person she was, she finished the deed in less than eight seconds, ending the bird’s suffering.
“Alright, one down. Next, I should go support Yake. I’m a bit worried about him.”
Aierjisi hurried toward Yake’s location, hoping to lend him a hand.
Meanwhile, Yake and the Leopard had left the original street, moving to another battlefield. Staying on the previous street would not only hinder his allies but also prevent him from fighting to the fullest.
“Ugh, this guy’s speed is pretty insane.”
Yake paused, realizing the situation was not in his favor. The Leopard was faster than he had imagined, surpassing all the speedy Magical Beasts he had encountered before.
What made matters worse was that the street they were on was surrounded by alleys, giving the opponent plenty of opportunities to attack from the dark corners.
Originally, Yake planned to counterattack using his No Thought Shadow Kill technique. But he had no idea how this beast’s exterior was. His sword couldn’t even scratch it.
All in all, facing a Magical Beast with both high speed and high defense, Yake slowly fell into a disadvantageous position.
【I can’t just keep taking hits like this; I need to think of a way to counterattack.】
Yake’s idea was quite simple—if this street environment was unfavorable to him, all he needed to do was change the battlefield.
“Come at me if you dare!”
Yake turned and ran towards the outskirts, with the Leopard closely trailing him, refusing to lose its prey.
“Oh! Yake has been spotted! But what is he doing? Could it be that he’s being chased because he can’t defeat the opponent? How embarrassing!”
Aierjisi, flying above, noticed Yake fleeing in the city with the Leopard hot on his heels. Without hesitation, she dove down, blocking the Leopard’s path.
“Whoa? You sure are bold! Chasing my servant like this. He doesn’t even have cough syrup.”
“Aier? Why are you here?”
Seeing Aierjisi appear and ruin his plan, Yake felt a mix of anger and joy.
As long as Aierjisi was here, didn’t that mean this Leopard was an easy target?
“Isn’t it obvious? I couldn’t bear to watch you get chased by this Leopard. As your master, I generously came to help you. What do you think? Am I nice to you?”
Aierjisi beamed with pride, knowing she was the only master willing to lend a hand to her servant.
“True, but even if you hadn’t come, I would have managed. I was leading it to the outskirts. You were just in time. Now, let’s take it down together!”
With Aierjisi’s help, taking down the Leopard was like a piece of cake for Yake.
“Alright. Let’s quickly deal with this guy and get back to the City Lord.”
Aierjisi summoned her Light Whip and lashed out at the Leopard.
“Hmm? Did it not work? Is this guy’s skin way too tough?”
Seeing her signature skill hit the Leopard with no effect, Aierjisi was dumbfounded; she had never seen such a thick-skinned Magical Beast before.
“Yeah. Its skin seems as tough as steel. My sword couldn’t even scratch it.”
“Why didn’t you say that sooner?”
“I was about to, but you jumped in and attacked first! What now, Aier? It seems your attack is useless too!”
Yake had thought Aierjisi’s magical attacks would hurt it, but they turned out to be just as ineffective.
“Don’t panic. It’s not hurting it? Well, that’s assuming external attacks won’t work.”
For a Magical Beast like this, Aierjisi quickly formulated a strategy. The beast had tough skin that could resist many external attacks. But what if the attack came from the inside?
“Yake, can you distract it for a bit? I have a way to take this guy down.”
“Okay. I’ll do my best.”
“Great. Then I’ll leave it to you.”
As soon as she finished speaking, Aierjisi suddenly vanished right in front of Yake and the Leopard.
“Huh? Aier? Where did you go?”
Yake was bewildered by Aierjisi’s sudden disappearance. Why did she just leave right after they spoke?
“Well, whatever. I’m sure Aier won’t leave me to fend for myself. I’ll stick to her plan and hold this guy off.”
Yake decided to stop looking for her and drew his sword to fight the Leopard.
As for Aierjisi… she hadn’t run away; she had shrunk her body down, becoming smaller than a mosquito. At this size, she could slip inside the Leopard’s body.
“Wow. So this is the internal world of that guy? What a terrible smell! I can’t take it anymore. Better finish this quickly and get out.”
Aierjisi managed to burrow into the Leopard’s insides through its mouth. The stench was worse than she had expected. It turned out the insides of Magical Beasts had a nauseating odor.
She unleashed a barrage of magical light cannons, wreaking havoc in its insides.
Just as she had anticipated, even if the exterior skin could withstand any attack, the interior was just as vulnerable.
“Alright, that should be enough. Time to get out.”
Looking at the internal organ she had damaged, the Leopard likely wouldn’t live long, even if it didn’t die right away. Aierjisi quickly withdrew from the unbearable place.
