Chapter 716 “Unlimited Requests for Moon Tickets” Moon Beast (10,000)
“Twin bond… able to summon ‘Big Ear Beast’…”
The ‘Big Ear Beast’, also known as ‘Pug Beast’, is actually a canine-type Digital Monster.
However, in the setting, it shares a rare twin bond with the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’, also known as the ‘Hanging Ear Bunny Beast’.
These two Digital Monsters, one white and one black, look completely identical except for the number of horns on their heads and the color of their skin.
Yet, their evolutionary paths are quite different.
“If there were a cat grass with dog breeds, I could try refining it…”
Dark thought for a moment and had an idea.
But dedicating himself to refining a ‘Big Ear Beast’ whose attribute he couldn’t even determine for just one ultimate skill didn’t seem worth it.
Therefore, after considering it, he decided to wait and see.
“For now, I should focus on refining the ‘Moon Beast’.”
“Of course, first I need to see how far the potential of this ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ can be unleashed.”
Dark picked up the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’s’ Magic Card and began the summoning.
“In the name of Dark Dimon, Mana Summoning — ‘Black Big Ear Beast’!”
In the light of the summoning, a Digital Monster with large ears quickly materialized.
As soon as it landed, the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ shook its head vigorously, and its wide but light ears slapped against its face.
Then it grabbed the pink tip of its ear, hiding its face, while its round, big eyes cautiously observed the unfamiliar surroundings and its connected owner.
“Let me introduce myself, my name is Dark Dimon.”
Dark smiled and extended his hand toward the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’.
After observing for a while, the right ear of the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ slowly perked up and pressed onto Dark’s palm.
Thus, they were acquainted.
…
Not long after, the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ was lying in Dark’s arms.
…
No matter what, maintaining a close relationship with the Magic Elf was necessary.
Dark only let the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ demonstrate its ‘Big Ear Propeller’ after getting familiar with it.
The two ears of the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ spun like a small tornado.
With the rising air current, the feet of the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ gradually lifted off the ground, and it truly flew!
Dark stood up in amazement and caught it in the air after a while.
As for the two ultimate skills of the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’, there was no real need to test them.
So, Dark proceeded as before, taking out ‘Bliss II’, ‘Bliss III’, ‘Bliss IV? Moon’, and the ‘Moon Goddess Stone’, starting the evolution experiment for the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’.
First, naturally, was ‘Bliss II’.
Although the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ was affected by ‘Bliss’ and a mark appeared on its forehead, it did not evolve into a subspecies like ‘Agumon’.
‘Bliss II’ had no effect on it.
“Next is ‘Bliss III’.”
‘Bliss III’ would definitely allow the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ to evolve to the mature stage.
However, the usual evolutionary path of the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ had two routes: the good-natured ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ and the evil ‘Yundi Beast’.
Although the ‘Yundi Beast’ was very powerful and had the ability to control time and space, it was too ugly.
In this society that values looks, the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’, which resembles a Chinese martial artist, was more appealing.
Dark was no exception.
Moreover, the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ was a rare Chinese-style Digital Monster, which added points in his heart.
“In the name of Dark Dimon, Mana Summoning — ‘Bliss III’!”
No matter what, trying it out would reveal what it would evolve into!
The ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ gradually dissipated in a golden-pink light column, and its body outline dramatically changed, visibly elongating.
Soon, a beast-type Digital Monster with some features of the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ but with purple fur appeared after the light converged.
That was none other than the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’!
The ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ wore a yellow martial arts suit with the word ‘Wudou’ embroidered on the left chest, a blue scarf around its neck, and strange weapons resembling fangs on its hands — the ‘Rabbit Horn Iron Claws’!
“Built-in weapon?”
Dark immediately noticed the ‘Rabbit Horn Iron Claws’ and felt moved.
Generally, Magic Elves with built-in weapons could gain attack boosts from those weapons.
He pondered for a moment, then infused mana to check the detailed information of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’.
[Card Name: Warrior Rabbit Beast]
[Type: Elemental Card]
[Level: ??????]
[Race: Avian-beast Kin]
[Attribute: Fighting Type]
[Mana: 2400]
[Attack: 3200]
[Defense: 2200]
[Ultimate Skills: Rabbit Horn Iron Claws, Rabbit Fang Fist, Quick Rabbit Punch, Strict Rabbit Battle.]
The ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ had four ultimate skills and was a gold card.
Dark’s gaze swept over its race and attributes, knowing it was indeed ‘Fighting Type’!
Changes in attributes after evolution were relatively uncommon in Pokémon, but common in Digital Monsters.
This made it hard to detect the ‘Bliss’ factor from the surface data of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’.
If forced, one might connect ‘rabbit-moon-bliss’ together.
Considering the next form of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ is ‘Andiro Beast (Jade Rabbit Beast)’, it would make sense to connect them.
He never expected the ‘Black Big Ear Beast’ could be refined with ‘Bliss’.
…
As a six-star Magic Elf, the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ had average mana and defense, but its attack broke through the top value of six-star, reaching 3200 points.
This base attack was higher than that of the ‘Baby Blue-Eye Dragon’.
“So it’s indeed a strong offensive Magic Elf?”
Dark slightly understood and looked at the four ultimate skills of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’.
As a Digital Monster, these four ultimate skills of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ were straightforward.
The first ultimate skill was indeed a passive skill related to the weapon — ‘Rabbit Horn Iron Claws’!
[Rabbit Horn Iron Claws: A pair of claw-like iron weapons worn on the arms of the Warrior Rabbit Beast. Attack +500.]
Equipping ‘Rabbit Horn Iron Claws’ further increased the already high attack of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ by 500 points.
Though it had no other additional attributes, a weapon that increases attack by 500 points was already quite good.
However, the increase in attack from the weapon was reflected in the blade, and without proper technique, the full power of the weapon’s attack boost could not be utilized.
This was not an issue for the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’.
Dark then infused more mana to check the next ultimate skill, another somewhat puzzling ultimate skill — ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’.
[Rabbit Fang Fist: A self-created rabbit fang fist by the Warrior Rabbit Beast, gaining greater strength and speed when using it.]
This was a passive skill related to ‘boxing’.
It meant the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ was a born martial artist, mastering a unique boxing technique since birth.
‘Boxing’ differed somewhat from purely offensive ultimate skills.
Its effectiveness depended on the quality of the boxing technique and various other factors.
Currently, ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’ at least had the basic effects of increasing strength and speed, which was decent.
But it was unclear whether others or Magic Elves could learn it.
Dark’s mind raced with many ideas, but he temporarily set aside this thought and looked at the third ultimate skill.
[Rapid Rabbit Punch: The Warrior Rabbit Beast uses its extremely strong lower body strength to instantly burst forth with lightning-fast speed, delivering a heavy punch to the target.]
‘Quick Rabbit Punch’, although also a ‘punch’, was slightly different from ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’.
If ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’ was a set of boxing techniques, ‘Quick Rabbit Punch’ was a move within it, capable of bursting forth with speed like ‘Fox Flash’.
Combined with the passive skill of ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’, it was particularly terrifying.
The last ultimate skill of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ was ‘Strict Rabbit Battle’!
[Strict Rabbit Battle: The Warrior Rabbit Beast uses its (Rabbit Horn Iron Claws) to deliver a furious series of attacks to the target with rabbit-like agility and high jumping ability. Each hit increases attack slightly, up to five times.]
This ‘Strict Rabbit Battle’ bore some resemblance to the ‘Demon Fox Beast’s’ ‘Touha Fist’.
The number of hits it could deliver depended on the strength and ability of both the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ and its opponent, relying on martial arts!
After reviewing all the ultimate skills, Dark pondered, “Should I try a set of ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’?”
Upon hearing this, the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ did not refuse and immediately got into position, starting to box.
As the wind of the punches started swirling, visible streams of aura appeared on the hands and feet of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’.
It was akin to ‘Qi Gong’.
Dark’s eyes narrowed, watching closely.
After a few minutes, he suddenly snapped back to reality, understanding the mechanics.
The execution of ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’ required ‘Qi’ to initiate.
The mana of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ could serve as ‘Qi’, allowing it to use ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’.
Ordinary Magic Elves lacked ‘Qi’ and could only mimic its appearance but not its essence. However, humans were different.
Humans could refine ‘Qi’!
In other words, ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’ could be learned!
As a Chinese person, Dark naturally had some longing for martial arts.
While the warriors of this world could activate chakras and cultivate ‘Qi’, they lacked any ‘Nine Yin Nine Yang’ or ‘Yijing Cleansing Marrow’ techniques.
The ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’ of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ had a touch of the ‘Five Animal Frolics’.
Learning this ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’ might allow him to execute moves like ‘Quick Rabbit Punch’ and ‘Strict Rabbit Battle’.
Thinking about it, Dark felt slightly excited.
Even if he didn’t learn it himself, he could teach it to the battle maids at home, enhancing the overall strength of the maid corps.
Suddenly, the name ‘Rabbit Fang Fist’ lacked sophistication.
If it was to be taught, renaming it was crucial.
…
Dark then had the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ briefly demonstrate the other two ultimate skills and began recording, then summoned and activated ‘Bliss IV? Moon’.
In the glow of ‘Bliss IV? Moon’, the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’… indeed showed signs of imminent evolution!
The glow of ‘Bliss IV? Moon’ instantly illuminated the entire room, with faint moonlight spreading.
The body of the ‘Warrior Rabbit Beast’ gradually transformed into a white luminescent body, and its entire body began to stretch significantly!
It was clearly evolving towards the ‘Andiro Beast’.
However, during the evolution process,
Its body outline suddenly became blurry, with zebra-like stripes of black and white gradually seeping out from the glowing body and flickering frequently.
Darck had seen this situation multiple times before.
Without hesitation, he cast the “Three Flowers Technique,” using it to activate his mental power.
However, the infusion of mental power did not yield the desired effect this time.
The glowing body transformed from “Warrior Rabbit Beast” struggled for a while before shattering explosively!
The fragments of light scattered, and the evolution of “Warrior Rabbit Beast” failed right there!
This was Darck’s first time witnessing an evolution failure. What he had seen before were either insufficient evolutions or “wrong” evolutions.
“Warrior Rabbit Beast” did not evolve into “Zombie Tyrannosaurus” like “Imp Beast” or “Agumon.” Instead, it directly regressed back to its original form.
“It seems my cultivation isn’t quite到位 yet.”
The self-talk of “Warrior Rabbit Beast” did not ease Darck’s mood.
After some contemplation, he realized this should be due to insufficient “bond.”
“Warrior Rabbit Beast” had just been born; it needed some time to bond more closely with him, similar to the bonds he had with “Deoxys” and “Demon Fox Beast.”
Only then could “Warrior Rabbit Beast” successfully evolve into “Endriol兽!”
…
“For now, this isn’t urgent.”
Darck rubbed his temples and activated the “Moon Goddess Stone” casually.
This “Moon Goddess Stone” naturally didn’t allow “Warrior Rabbit Beast” to evolve further.
Darck focused slightly, waiting until “Warrior Rabbit Beast” regressed into “Black Big Ear Beast,” then picked it up, feeding it, petting it, and cuddling it.
Although he was somewhat materialistic, quickly increasing affection and building a strong foundation was beneficial for forming bonds.
However, “Black Big Ear Beast” was indeed very easy to handle!
Darck couldn’t help but marvel inwardly.
…
To ensure the health of “Bunny Grass,” Darck did not immediately start the fourth round of experiments.
As the golem spirits returned one by one, he introduced “Black Big Ear Beast” to them.
Among the three new rabbits formed, “Fairy Tale Animal? Little Rabbit” was somewhat spoiled, “Adorable Beast” loved pranks, but only “Black Big Ear Beast” was truly harmless and soft. Due to its race, “Deoxys” looked at it particularly favorably.
After Darck handed over the three rabbits to the golem spirits, Deoxys unusually picked up a storybook and began telling the three new babies stories like “Tortoise and Hare,” “Waiting for the Hare,” and “Wolf and Hare,” with a kind face.
Darck, skilled in time management, took advantage of this opportunity to continue studying alchemy.
After such a long period of intense learning, he had absorbed most of the classroom content and started planning to create a new golem.
Learning and practice lead to true knowledge.
…
At around nine forty at night.
Darck confirmed that “Bunny Grass” was ready again and finally started the fourth round of experiments.
He still had many “rabbit” materials left in his hand.
The remaining “Devil Bunny Magic Crystal” was just one of them.
The previous attempt to create a “Moon Beast” from the “Avian-beast Kin-Dark Attribute” failed. This time, he did not dwell on it and directly switched to a general core material to start a new round of experiments.
His mindset wasn’t as urgent, especially after creating “Black Big Ear Beast.”
“Perhaps I can cross racial barriers and randomly create a ‘Big Ear Beast.'”
He thought casually, but his hands worked meticulously.
Another half hour later, the experiment ended.
With the help of “Bliss Juice (Rabbit)” and “Sharp Rabbit Tooth,” Darck successfully crafted a new Mana Spirit Card.
As the dirt on the card surface gradually decreased, the appearance of the Mana Spirit became clearer.
Unfortunately, it was still not a “Moon Beast.”
But it wasn’t disappointing either, because what appeared on the card was a Pokémon he could name.
“Whismur?”
After a game card monster and two digital monsters, it was finally the turn of Pokémon.
Darck smiled and shook his head. He remembered that Whismur… had an “Mage Evolution” form!
“Whismur, although a general-type Pokémon, does indeed have a certain compatibility with ‘Bliss.'”
“I remember, Whismur’s evolution, Long-Eared Rabbet, has the trait ‘Attractive Body,’ right?”
“And among the moves Whismur can learn automatically, many are Fairy-type.”
“But these aren’t important. What matters is that Long-Eared Rabbet looks perfectly compatible with ‘Bliss.'”
He blinked and looked at the card.
“Whismur” is a very cute Pokémon rabbit. Its entire body is brown, with cream-colored feet and tufted fur, one ear often folded like a fluffy ball.
Its tufted fur is mainly distributed on the top of its ears and the lower part of its body, making it look like it’s wearing a skirt. These hairs are also very fluffy.
Like the pink-furred bunny before, Whismur walks upright like a human.
But Darck’s created “Whismur” differs slightly from the usual “Whismur.”
Those cream-colored feet and tufted fur are now pink, symbolizing “Bliss.”
Yes, this is a “Shiny Whismur”!
…
The rarity of Shiny Pokémon goes without saying.
But Darck already had a Shiny “Reaper’s Casket,” so having another Shiny “Whismur” wasn’t surprising.
This “Whismur” wasn’t a pink-furred bunny, yet it surpassed the pink-furred bunny!
He immediately checked the information.
[Card Name: Whismur]
[Type: Elemental Card]
[Level: ???]
[Race: Avian-beast Kin]
[Attribute: General-Type]
[Mana: 1100]
[Attack: 1300]
[Defense: 1200]
[Ultimate Skills: Full Moon, Pout, Roll, Angel Kiss]
There wasn’t much to say about the stats of “Whismur”; they were quite average.
But as a gold card, it had four ultimate skills.
However, these four ultimate skills were rather mysterious.
Perhaps because it was created with “Bliss,” three of the four ultimate skills of this “Whismur” were Fairy-type.
The first ultimate skill, “Full Moon,” Darck was already very familiar with.
[Full Moon (Bliss): Whismur uses its captivating gaze to mesmerize the opponent, lowering their attack desire.]
The second ultimate skill, “Pout,” also appeared on Eevee.
[Pout: Cutely stares at the opponent, causing them to let their guard down and significantly reducing their attack.]
The third ultimate skill, “Roll,” is a specialty of “Big Milk Jar.”
[Roll: Curves its body into a roll, thereby increasing its defense.]
The fourth ultimate skill, “Angel Kiss,” was seen for the first time.
[Angel Kiss: Cutsely kisses the opponent like an angel, causing confusion.]
Summarized, the four ultimate skills are: “Seductive Glance,” “Pout,” “Headbutt Defense,” and “Kiss.”
If “Headbutt Defense” were replaced with “Seductive,” they would all be gone.
Darck took a deep breath and cast a regular summoning spell, bringing “Whismur” out.
“In the name of Darck Dimon, Mana Summon—’Whismur’!”
“(>^ω^<)mimi!"
When "Whismur" was summoned, it was still a bit dazed, swinging around in place.
But when it turned towards Darck, its eyes suddenly lit up, leaping up and diving into Darck's arms, rubbing its head against his chest fiercely.
In that instant, Darck felt a cold wind and a chill down his spine.
But looking around, he found nothing.
"Mimimimi!"
In the sound of "Whismur," Darck reached out to pick it up, smiling and saying, "Welcome," then tried the ultimate skills one by one for the sake of experimentation: "Full Moon," "Pout," "Roll Back," and "Angel Kiss," feeling very comfortable.
Once "Whismur" adapted, he used "Bliss II" and "Bliss III" on it for testing.
"Bliss II" couldn't make it evolve, but he always hoped that "Bliss II" might bring new ultimate skills.
Of course, things often didn't go as planned.
So, he considered this as letting "Whismur" gradually adapt to the influence of "Bliss," not overwhelming it all at once.
However, the effect of "Bliss III" was very significant.
Under the glow of "Bliss III," "Whismur" evolved without any doubt.
"Whismur"—"Long-Eared Rabbet!"
Compared to "Whismur," "Long-Eared Rabbet" resembled a girl turning into a mature woman, both in physique and demeanor, growing from a baby rabbit to a mature rabbit, becoming more mature and emotional.
Its limbs became more slender, and its ears folded to the sides, with the tufted fur at the ends resembling hair.
The tufted fur of the Shiny "Long-Eared Rabbet" was still pink.
"Cough!"
Darck suddenly had an urge to dress up "Long-Eared Rabbet."
Considering that such behavior was too superficial, Darck ultimately did not do it.
He shifted his attention and looked at the Mana Card.
[Card Name: Long-Eared Rabbet]
[Type: Elemental Card]
[Level: ?????]
[Race: Avian-beast Kin]
[Attribute: General-Type]
[Mana: 1800]
[Attack: 2200]
[Defense: 2300]
[Ultimate Skills: Attractive Body, High-Speed Movement, Absorb Punch, Self-Motivation.]
"Whismur" was originally a very fast Mana Spirit. After evolving, it naturally became even faster.
And the greatest change was in defense.
The defense of "Long-Eared Rabbet" gradually surpassed the attack.
"Avian-beast Kin, General-Type, just a five-star?"
Darck frowned.
Both三星 Mana Spirits, among Pokémon evolutions, only the six-star 【Magical Beast: Eevee】 evolved from a three-star.
However, there wasn't much difference between five-star and six-star.
Darck didn't pay much attention to it.
Only the mana value of "Long-Eared Rabbet" seemed a bit low.
"Clearly, it has 2300 points of defense, yet only 1800 points of mana."
He sighed slightly, injecting mana to check the ultimate skills, hoping that the four ultimate skills of "Long-Eared Rabbet" would bring him some surprises.
Then, he immediately saw that ultimate skill—"Attractive Body"!
[Attractive Body: Sometimes causes contact with opposite-sex individuals to be infatuated.]
"Attractive Body" seemed to be a standard feature of "Bliss."
If we count "Mewtwo's" "Beauty," this is already Darck's third Mana Spirit with "Attractive Body."
But this simple passive skill was indeed useful.
While smiling, Darck continued to look at the next ultimate skill.
The second ultimate skill of "Long-Eared Rabbet" is "High-Speed Movement"!
[High-Speed Movement: Long-Eared Rabbet activates its psychic abilities, making its body light and gaining the ability to move at high speed, greatly
Enhancing his own speed. Duration three minutes.
"Even faster?"
The "Long-Eared Rabbit," originally a Pokémon known for its incredible speed, paired with this "Quick Move," was unimaginably swift.
Similar ultimate skills include "Unicorn Gallop" from the "Unimon."
Dak continued to infuse mana to gain more feedback.
Then, the information of the third ultimate skill entered his mind.
[Drain Punch (Bliss): The Long-Eared Rabbit attaches (Bliss) power to its fist, using it to absorb the target’s energy and convert it into its own mana, with a 100% conversion rate, equivalent to the damage dealt.]
The power of "Drain Punch" was ordinary; the original version could only absorb half of the damage dealt to the target.
While the Bliss version of "Drain Punch" could absorb 100% of the energy, if calculated in terms of "damage," the absorbed mana would be reduced by what the opponent mitigated, so the amount absorbed wouldn't be much.
The main issue was that the attack of the "Long-Eared Rabbit," though not low, wasn't high either.
Unless the "Long-Eared Rabbit" could evolve into "Super Long-Eared Rabbit," it wouldn't transform into a strong-attack type Mana Spirit.
Dak tapped his Mana Spirit Card, looking at the last ultimate skill.
Then, he couldn't help but reveal a slight smile.
"What a plain ultimate skill!"
[Self-Motivation (Bliss): The Long-Eared Rabbit motivates itself, enjoying the battle, increasing its base attack by 50%, duration three minutes.]
This "Self-Motivation (Bliss)" seemed like a basic version of "Dragon's Inverted Scale," but it wouldn't cause the user to become confused.
The attack of the "Long-Eared Rabbit" was only 2200, but after "Self-Motivation (Bliss)," it reached 3300 points, which was already the value achievable by a Seven-Star Mana Spirit.
If the "Self-Motivation (Bliss)" state were used with "Drain Punch (Bliss)," then one punch would replenish mana, making it incredibly pleasant.
...
"Let's call it a day today."
Satisfied, Dak smiled and began recording and organizing, taking his gaze off the "Long-Eared Rabbit."
"Bliss" couldn’t be increased anymore.
Wait until the "Long-Eared Rabbit" degenerates into "Wigglytuff," and then we can do it!
...
After tidying up, Dak petted the four Fluffits affectionately, making another Mana Spirit with pink ears squeal in frustration.
To build a quicker bond with the Fluffits, Dak, after getting into bed, recounted a bedtime story, something he hadn’t done in a while.
"The big rabbit got sick, the second rabbit went to see, the third rabbit bought medicine, the fourth rabbit cooked, the fifth rabbit died, the sixth rabbit carried it, the seventh rabbit dug a grave, the eighth buried it, the ninth rabbit sat crying on the ground, the tenth asked why it was crying. The ninth rabbit said, 'The fifth rabbit won't come back!'"
In the long winter night, the cold outside contrasted sharply with the warmth inside, bringing a sense of nostalgia.
Humans and Mana Spirits gradually fell asleep.
...
The next morning, Sunday.
Dak leisurely read through "The Wise One Daily" before starting his fifth experiment.
He still had things to do, but that didn't stop him from conducting two more experiments first.
He picked up the motionless Bunny Grass in the cradle and slowly walked to the balcony.
Opening the door, the cold wind blew through the window gap, making Bunny Grass shiver. It finally moved, snuggling closer to Dak.
With a smile, Dak walked to the balcony railing, closing the window, and then opened the Worm Tree's fence, squatting down to inject "Moon Bliss" into the Worm Branch.
Bunny Grass clearly enjoyed the taste.
When Dak injected a sufficient amount of "Moon Bliss" into a Worm Branch, it climbed up eagerly, savoring it happily.
One branch, two branches, and so on.
As each bit of "Moon Bliss" was absorbed and flowed to its head, fresh sprouts emerged, followed by fine stems and leaves, eventually blooming into fruit.
Watching the "Capital Sin Fruit" complete its life cycle in such a short time, Dak felt a subtle melancholy.
Gathering his thoughts, he plucked the pink fruit from the green calyx.
"Huhu."
"Click!"
Huhu stretched its neck, waiting for its owner to insert the round, pink object into its hole.
Taking advantage of the juice-making time, Dak placed Bunny Grass back in the cradle and started selecting the core materials for the first experiment of the day.
"Let's try again!"
His eyes drifted over the "Devil Bunny Mana Crystal," thinking, "It must be possible to refine."
"Surely I can do it," he told himself.
Then he took out the last "Devil Bunny Mana Crystal" from the rack and prepared for the experiment.
Five minutes were enough to prepare everything thoroughly.
Since it was just dawn, Mana Spirits were either still in bed, washing up, or reading the newspaper he had finished, but none had left the dorm.
In the midst of many glances, Dak began his fifth experiment.
The target remained the Pink Fluffit!
...
"Bliss," "Moon," "Darkness," "Rabbit."
All necessary elements were ready.
If the scope were narrowed to Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters, Digimon, Pokémon, and a few other works, it was time for the "Moon Beast"!
During the experiment, Dak had an epiphany, sensing a premonition.
His operations became smoother and faster.
Finally, after dripping the last drop of "Bliss Juice" into the light circle of the first炼成阵, the first炼成阵 suddenly contracted, weaving a cocoon of light beams from the Mana Spirit Card at incredible speed.
Dak put down the Magic Pen, waiting with anticipation.
"Mew!"
The ribbon-tentacle of the "Eevee" wrapped around his arm as it called out.
The "Ditto Translator" transformed into Little Dak, translating simultaneously: "Is it still that hateful rabbit this time?"
"Mew?"
"Cheep?"
"Ow?"
"Mew?"
Four voices of confusion sounded in succession. "Eevee" found itself at the center of sharp gazes.
But it stood tall, ignoring them.
"Fairy Tale Animal? Little Rabbit" sat on a tree stump, pouting.
"Adorable Beast" bared its teeth at "Eevee."
"Black Big Ear Beast" covered its face with its large ears.
"Wigglytuff" sucked its finger, tilting its head.
"Eevee" tightened its grip on Dak's arm and said, "Mimimi!"
[Ditto Translator]: "A rabbit doesn’t eat grass by its nest."
"Mew?"
"Cheep?"
"Ow?"
"Mew?"
The newly born rabbits didn’t understand the proverb, their heads filled with question marks.
Realizing he was talking to a wall, "Eevee" stopped speaking and crawled onto Dak’s lap, lying down.
Dak petted it gently.
Gradually, the reaction inside the cocoon ceased.
He didn’t let "Eevee" leave his leg, instead picking up a mercury knife and carefully slicing open the stable cocoon.
As the cocoon split, pink light burst forth, emitting a faint lunar aura.
Dak's eyes lit up, his smile growing wider.
Though this new Mana Spirit Card was still marred by filth, the initial aura it emitted rivaled the Bliss aura.
Even if it wasn’t the "Moon Beast," it was undoubtedly a Mana Spirit deeply connected to the moon!
He patted "Eevee" on the back, and it understood, retracting its ribbon and slowly descending from his lap, but not far away.
Dak picked up the Mana Spirit Card with tweezers and rinsed it in the sink.
The black stains adhering to the card were gradually removed, revealing the Mana Spirit Card's true form.
A faint golden aura radiated from it.
On the card, a pink Fluffit with a crescent moon pattern on its forehead came into view.
Dak quickly glanced at the card name above and read aloud, "Moon... Beast!"
"It’s finally refined!"
After failing to refine the "Solar Beast" and instead creating the "Lion Beast," Dak had restarted his plan, focusing on refining the "Moon Beast."
After five consecutive Mana Spirit refinements, he successfully created the "Moon Beast" in the fifth experiment!
The "Moon Beast" was the precursor evolution form of "Diana Beast," one of the Twelve Olympian Gods.
Its significance to Dak was not only due to its immense potential but also because it could potentially fuse with "Diana Beast" and "Apollo Beast" to evolve into the Ultra Supreme "Elegant Nova Beast."
Most importantly, it would help Dak delve deeper into the analysis of "Capital Sin"!
Despite already possessing the "Moon Goddess Soul," the "Moon Goddess Soul I" was merely an Armed Card.
Moreover, it was primarily based on the Moon Goddess rather than Dak’s own "Capital Sin."
This "Moon Beast" was truly the Moon Goddess, created by Dak himself!
"Whoosh!"
The "Moon Goddess Soul" suddenly stood up, its eyes wide with surprise at the Mana Spirit Card in Dak's hand.
Clearly, it had sensed the unique aura emanating from the card.
Though very faint.
This "Moon Beast" was already beginning to display divine qualities.
