Chapter 75

In the early morning of Igewent, on the apartment building of Nanyang Flower Road, Dorothy and Gregor were having breakfast together in the living room. This was one of their rare moments of gathering these days.

While having breakfast, Dorothy yawned from time to time. Seeing this, Gregor asked with concern:

“Dorothy, you look very tired and listless these days, and you come back later than before. Is the academic pressure too heavy?”

As he yearned, Brandon checked his watch, which showed it was ten o’clock in the morning.

“Gregor! There’s an urgent matter. Please come to the Bureau Chief’s office immediately!”

Confused, Brandon stopped a colleague walking past him and asked:

“Tony, it seems there’s going to be another operation. Do you know what’s happening?”

“Oh… It seems similar to last time. Ms. Ada received flowers again. I just saw it upstairs. It’s probably another big case.” Tony responded to Brandon. Listening to Tony’s words, Brandon frowned slightly, confusion showing on his face.

“It’s really flowers… How come the action has been advanced?”

Gregor, Elena, and Turner stood in the office. A bouquet of flowers was placed on the desk, reminiscent of the scene on the morning of Burton’s case, except that Bureau Chief James was absent.

“Another delivery of flowers… Don’t those guys have any new ideas? Are we going to clean up after them again? Hmph…”

Turner complained openly as he looked at the flowers. Gregor, looking at the thick message card in the bouquet, slowly said:

“Elena, hurry and send a report to the Bureau Chief, requesting immediate action at the flooded dock. We can’t waste any time. Hurry!”
