<Title>
I have no idea what this person thinks of me.
<Content>
It’s not a romantic interest, not a male friend, just someone whose face I know, right?
But somehow, we ended up going to watch a movie together recently (By the way, the other person suggested seeing the movie first! I definitely didn’t suggest it, and he prepared everything for the movie tickets!)
Afterwards, we briefly had dinner and parted ways.
Does this person like me?
What do you, fellow EveryHunter users, think?
───
└Anonymous 803: This person definitely has an interest in you. Men don’t invest their time in women they don’t care about.
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: You’re right, this must be a sign of being interested in me, right?
└Anonymous 803: Yup, he will likely ask you out for another date soon. I congrats you in advance.
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Is it possible to send a secret reply? There’s something more I want to ask…
└Anonymous 803: Sure.

└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: To be honest, after we watched the movie and parted ways… There’s been no contact at all.
└Anonymous 803: No contact? No messages?
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Yes… there hasn’t been any message at all ☹
└Anonymous 803: Did you do something wrong during the movie outing?
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Not particularly, there was no mistake on my side, if anything, the other person actually caused a bit of a scene…
└Anonymous 803: Then it’s probably no big deal.
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Even though there hasn’t been any contact yet?

└Anonymous 803: It’s likely the other person isn’t certain yet.
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Certain? What do you mean?
└Anonymous 803: Usually a man needs some certainty before deciding whether to take the next step. It seems he’s at that stage right now.
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Is he deciding whether he wants to pursue me or not?
└Anonymous 803: Exactly. If you give some room, he might take a chance on you. Conversely, if you put up walls, he might just give up.
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Wow! That’s how it is!
└Anonymous 803: So, what do you plan to do? Do you want to give things a go with this guy?

└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: To be honest, I don’t even know what I want yet ☹☹☹☹
└Anonymous 803: Too much hesitation and you might lose your chance. Does he have other women around him?
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: There’s one other besides me…
└Anonymous 803: Is she attractive?
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Honestly, she’s quite pretty.
└Anonymous 803: Well, you might lose him to her soon then.
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Really? What should I do if it happens?

└Anonymous 803: Why don’t you meet and talk? Keeping this conversation through comments won’t get you any answers.
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Meet and talk?
└Anonymous 803: Yes. I’m a woman too, and I don’t gossip around. If you’re interested, leave a comment letting me know.
└Post Writer Anonymous 6110: Then… where should I go?
└Anonymous 803: Technical Division, Research Lab 4, Room 403.

“Haha! This is hilarious, seriously!”
As usual, while spending time in Yoo Ji-woo’s lab, he suddenly burst into laughter for no apparent reason.
“What are you laughing at all alone?”
“Do you know about EveryHunter?”
Of course, I know. It’s the school’s biggest community. If you’re a student at Han-yul Military Academy, you’d know it well.
Even I often visit the free board and stir up trouble when there’s nothing to do.
“You met a really annoying person on their worry board.”
“Annoying person?”
“Yeah. After pretending to listen to their concerns a few times, this one just wouldn’t stop, babbling on like crazy. I thought it was like an elementary school romance counseling session. Too funny.”
“To use other people’s worries as a joke. You’re pretty nasty yourself.”
This comment isn’t something I should really say considering I myself wrote a post bashing Arna earlier this morning.
The funniest part is that just after posting, Arna’s defenders appeared out of nowhere almost telepathically.
Who was it again… today it was Anonymous 6110.
“Huh?”
At that moment, Yoo Ji-woo, who had been laughing to himself, suddenly furrowed his brow.
“What’s up?”
“Again. I casually left a comment saying that if they had any more issues, they should come here to the lab and let’s talk.”
“So?”
“And this person actually agreed to come here?”
Yoo Ji-woo showed me the smartphone screen, but it was too far away for me to clearly see its content.
I sighed deeply.
“No way. They’d actually come?”
“Right? Even if they do, they probably wouldn’t bother showing up personally. This isn’t the old random chat days, you know.”
Yoo Ji-woo went back to fiddling with his phone, laughing lightly.
“But if they really do come, it’d be hilarious. I’d love to see who they are. Judging by their comments, they’re just a complete mess.”
“If they really do show up, what’ll you do? Will you sit them down at the table and listen to their grievances?”
“Nah, in that case, I’ll just pretend I don’t know them and stay quiet. Saying that I didn’t write those comments.”
“You’re really nasty.”
That’s why you shouldn’t get too involved in online communities. There are plenty of terrible people lurking around, just like me and Yoo Ji-woo.
You might get hurt if you get too attached.
“By the way, what’s that blockhead doing over there?”
Meanwhile, Yoo Ji-woo glanced at the corner of the lab. There, Rashid, the giant, was vigorously working out.
“Huff… Huff…”
Rashid was repetitively bending and straightening his knees while carrying a large piece of metal on his shoulder. It looked like he was doing squats.
By the way, that lump of metal was one of the leftover materials from an experiment.
“There’s supposed to be a showcase at this event. He’s probably preparing for that.”
“Showcase? Like fighting monsters in front of an audience?”
“Something like that.”
“And what about you? Aren’t you taking part in the showcase?”
A question from Yoo Ji-woo about what I, a member of the Combat Division, would be doing for the showcase.
Watching Rashid sweat, I opened my mouth.
“A showcase for me? Isn’t this a job for the top performers? I’d rather not embarrass myself.”
“It must be nice. You don’t have to do anything at the festival.”
“Tsch. He got up and went to the equipment area. Time to start research again.”
I asked Yoo Ji-woo.
“Will you do something during the event?”
“There’s an exhibition for our Technical Division. I have to prepare a piece for it.”
“That’s hard work.”
It looks like the piece he’s making right now is for that exhibition. Everyone is working hard in preparation for the school open day.
Except me.
“If you don’t have anything to do, can you bring me the bolt cutter on that table?”
“Yes, Doctor.”
My job was limited to just carrying around equipment for Yoo Ji-woo.
Knock knock—
At that moment, someone knocked on the lab door. It seemed there was a visitor.
“What? I was just about to focus…”
Yoo Ji-woo, muttering in frustration, headed toward the entrance, dragging his white lab coat. He was ready to give a piece of his mind if it was a salesman.
Creak—
“Hmm?”
But Yoo Ji-woo didn’t get angry. Instead, he looked confused and tilted his head upon seeing the visitor.
“What are you doing here?”
“Um… Well…”
A familiar female voice came from outside the door, one I’d heard recently.
I moved toward the entrance to see who it was.
“I came to meet Anonymous 803… uh…”
“Huh?”
The moment our eyes met, the person jumped as if they’d seen a cockroach and started flailing.
“Wh-Wh-Why are you here!?”
There stood Arna Kristin Dotir, the blond student, outside the door. She looked absolutely flabbergasted upon seeing my face.
Even if she doesn’t like me, this sort of reaction is a bit hurtful.
“What exactly is going on here? This is a research lab… why are you…”
Rather, why did Arna come to a place like this? Did she come to commission something?
If not…
“No way.”
Could she be the subject of the worry board Yoo Ji-woo mentioned earlier? Did she seriously come all the way here?
“Aah! Now that I look closely, this is 403!”
But Arna quickly pointed at the sign by the door, speaking loudly.
“I came to 402, not 403! Sorry, I must’ve gotten the rooms confused…”
Just as Arna was about to turn and leave.
“Wait.”
“…!”
Yoo Ji-woo stopped Arna. Then he dropped a crucial fact to her, who was sweating profusely.
“Room 402 has been vacant this semester.”
“…”
Upon hearing this, Arna’s body froze like a statue.
