Chapter 83

Chapter 83 – Chapter 72 -委屈的统子 (The委屈of Tongsu)

Due to the corridor being damaged from the battle, Sōbu High School was on hiatus for a week, gaining an unexpected long holiday. The students were delighted.

Only a small part of the people would be grieved over Ōoka’s death.

Lin Qi and Yukinoshita Yukino took this opportunity during the holiday to search for the killer of Ōoka in Chiba Prefecture.

Ōoka’s parents decided to leave Chiba and return to their rural hometown, while Yukinoshita Yukino and Lin Qi went toŌoka’s home, discovering clues of the curse energy left by the murderer in his room.

Despite searching throughout Chiba completely, they could not find similar traces of curse energy. Instead, they cleansed a few weaker cursed spirits along the way.

“It seems that the ill-tempered guy has already left Chiba,” said Lin Qi helplessly.

Even he couldn’t pinpoint the murderer’s location without any hint.

“However, the guy appears as arrogant as Satoru Gojo. There are many ways to clear up the traces of curse energy, but he doesn’t care about hiding his trail. If he shows himself again, we will definitely catch him.”

Lin Qi wasn’t worried about the murderer vanishing; cursed spirits or curse sorcerers were always eager to stir up trouble.

“You’re right. We also have windows throughout Tokyo gathering missing person cases and traces of cursed remnants,” agreed Ijichi Kiyotaka. “Once he appears, we’ll surely find the clue.”

He then took out a thick envelope from his briefcase:

“This is the commission payment you received for assisting our specialty school recently.”

“Are you serious?”

Yukinoshita Yukino looked shocked and felt the weight in her hand which seemed to carry a significant amount of money.

“It’s natural. The mortality rate among Curse Sorcerers is high, so salaries are substantial. The commission is very generous,” explained Ijichi Kiyotaka with a smile.

The girl thought this made sense, so she accepted the money gratefully.

Farewelling Ijichi Kiyotaka, Yukinoshita Yukino took an electric train back to Chiba from Tokyo.

Although the students got a week-long break, the end of that holiday welcomed mid-term exams soon.

As usual, during holiday before exam times, most students were filled with anxiety as they played. Yui Yuigahama was no exception.

But now she had Yukinoshita Yukino, always ranking first in grades, as a role model. Influenced by her, although Yui used to settle for just passing average tests, she began feeling the urge to keep up with her friend’s good performance.

Even Hachiman Hikigaya managed third place in Japanese language, despite mediocre in other subjects and poor math scores. At least, that still showed some strength.

So, Yui proposed starting a study group and invited Yukinoshita Yukino and Hachiman Hikigaya.

Hachiman initially refused but immediately agreed when he heard Ayaka Hozuki would join.

When you want Hachiman to participate in group activities, he first declines, however, if Ayaka is invited too, he would adjust his stance and agree.

The study group was planned for this Friday at a Family Restaurant close to the school.

While Yui organized a study session, actually, Yukinoshita Yukino was tutoring the three. Her own grades were secure, yet others might need assistance.

Ayaka Hozuki had the highest score, followed by Hachiman Hikigaya, with the last place belonging to Yui Yuigahama.

Nevertheless, Lin Qi didn’t care much for the exams of Japanese high-school students. Having obtained a bachelor’s degree from a regular university, his undergraduate years were spent merely skimming by, and he could barely recall anything exceptional except for eating four times a day.

Moreover, coming from two years after graduation through time travel meant he wasn’t much use in advising the students directly.

So instead, he started exploring the system marketplace.

Through completing missions for higher schools and hunting weak cursed spirits, his points accumulated and now were over 60,000.

Lazily sitting on a seat made of bones, Lin Qi tapped aimlessly through the floating system panel with his cheek against his hand, as if endlessly flipping pages in a pornographic film database but never finding one worth watching.

He wished to switch to unlimited techniques and then demonstrate them before Satoru Gojo, the white-haired man, to see his reaction. But unfortunately, with his current points, it was impossible.

Even to perfectly use such techniques, he’d need to redeem a pair of six-eyed, valued at 400,000 points, making it seem like a bad deal.

“Tongsu, why can other systems have drawing lots, but not yours?” complained Lin Qi.

This newbie system was incomplete in all sorts of ways…

“But no problem. I’m getting used to it. Considering you’re a system that navigates lost paths like a roadblock, I don’t blame you.”

Deeply apologetic…

Despite the mechanical sound, Lin Qi could hear something of sadness and guilt in the system’s voice.

There’s nothing the system could do; it indeed had difficulties.

Born from a small factory without the functions that older systems possessed, able to assist its host quickly in transformations, achieve objectives, even control the host in some cases and obliterate them if goals were unmet.

The small factory focused on emotional services, walking the emotional route; unlike the functionalities other factory systems offered, its only advantage was its emotional modules and everlasting loyalty to its host, lacking the resources needed to excel in other respects.

In the context of being the host’s golden ace, this particular trait became meaningless.

For a moment, the system was silent.

“Oh?”

While browsing the store, Lin Qi noticed each item had a discount mark.

“The goods are on sale?”

There wasn’t anything else it could do. Consuming its own energy to benefit its host was what it could manage.

After School, and become a Jujutsu Sorcerer.

Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Status: Completed
"Ryomen Sukuna? The strongest sorcerer in history? Just a mere mortal born in an era without me." Lin Qi stood opposite Ryomen Sukuna, watching him with an amused expression. "On my left is Little Yukinoshita, a wielder of multiple techniques, effortlessly mastering both the Limitless Cursed Technique and the Ten Shadows Technique. On my right is Big Yukinoshita, who has awakened a unique modern technique, possessing talents on par with mine. And slashing techniques? That's just our basic attack." "So tell me, how will a mere fifteen-finger Sukuna handle this?" Staring at the black-haired young man before him—whose cursed energy felt exactly like his own—Ryomen Sukuna found himself utterly bewildered.
