Chapter 88: I Will Definitely Save You
“Ahh. So taking a back scrub and then soaking in the tub feels this good, huh?”
After the two of them finished scrubbing each other’s backs and returned to the bath, the comfort in her back made the Little Princess exclaim this with delight.
“You really didn’t know? I thought you were doing it on purpose,” said Weirafiya, smirking.
“Nah, I just saw that Phoenix over there getting a back scrub, so I thought I’d give it a try. I heard that bathing feels better after a scrub, but experiencing it myself is a first. Wow, I’ve definitely missed out on tons of chances before.”
Back on Earth, she also went to baths a lot. But back then, she had zero interest in back scrubs. Every time, she just took a shower and went home.
If she had known scrubbing felt this good, she would have insisted on getting it done every time she visited a bathhouse.
“So you copied me because of what you saw?” Weirafiya didn’t let this chance slip, sneering a bit.
“Yeah! If I hadn’t seen you enjoying it, I wouldn’t have believed back scrubbing could be this fun!”
“Looks like you’ve still got a lot to learn.”
“That’s for sure.”
“We’re done washing up and heading out first. You guys watch out and don’t soak too long, or you might get dizzy.”
Gaia and Mios stood up, ready to leave. Before they did, Mios reminded them not to stay too long in the bath.
“Okay, we’ll be out in a bit. Should we just leave, or should we find someone to drain the tub?”
“No need to worry about the tub; a servant will come to clean it tomorrow.”
“Got it!”
After confirming with them, Gaia and Mios headed back to their room to rest.
“Should we head out too? Weirafiya, are you continuing to soak or what?”
Once the two left, Aierjisi felt slightly dizzy after soaking for a while longer. It seemed she had reached her limit; it was time to get some rest.
“If you can’t take it, just head back early. I’ll soak a bit more.”
“Sure, I’ll head back first. Yake, what about you? Staying here or coming back with me?”
“I’ll come back with you.”
Yake stood up and left the bath with Aierjisi.
“Miss, how long are we going to be in here? I’m about to lose it.”
Yake’s assistant, Yaser, was struggling a bit too. He was feeling dizzy. If he could, he’d want to leave right now, but since the Miss hadn’t said anything yet, he couldn’t just walk out.
“Just wait a little longer; we’ll leave after those two.”
“Why? Why do we have to wait until they leave?”
Yaser didn’t get it. Did those two do something to make the Miss uncomfortable?
“I just want to prove that I can last longer in the bath than her.”
Weirafiya was staring at the changing room, not even sure why she felt the need to compete with Aierjisi. But that feeling was strong within her; she had to win in some aspect.
“Miss, aren’t you a fiery Phoenix? Why bother competing with a Blood Clan princess?”
“Shut it! I just want to compete with her, what’s wrong with that? Got a problem?”
“No, no problems here. Just thought someone like you, a grown woman, wouldn’t care about those little things. Did something unpleasant happen between you two?”
Considering that their Miss would compete with a Blood Clan Little Princess she barely knew, it seemed like there was some kind of issue between them.
“Yep! Some unpleasantness happened earlier, like when she said her chest was bigger than mine while changing. That is so unfair; mine is definitely bigger!”
Yaser glanced at Weirafiya’s still flat chest and recalled Aierjisi’s.

Stare…
As if sensing Yaser’s ridiculous thoughts, Weirafiya shot him a death glare.
“What’s wrong, Miss? Why are you staring at me? I swear I wasn’t thinking anything weird!”
Yaser quickly explained, insisting he had no such thoughts.
“You just admitted it! That’s what ‘A clear conscience doesn’t need to be afraid of ghosts knocking’ means! That saying fits you perfectly.”
Weirafiya dramatically raised her right hand, gathering a Fireball, ready to teach her servant a lesson.
“Miss, I’m sorry! I won’t do it again, please don’t burn me!”
Seeing the Fireball in her hand, Yaser quickly surrendered. He was only wearing a towel that barely covered his lower half! If she hit him now, he knew he’d be in serious trouble.
“Hmph, good you know your place. Don’t even think about such things again, got it? Next time, it won’t be just one Fireball; I’ll make sure you understand what ‘Big Boom’ really means.”
Weirafiya huffed and retracted the Fireball.
“Fine! I won’t do it again; I promise, no more next time!”
Seeing the Fireball disappear, Yaser sighed in relief. It seemed—this time—he successfully saved his own skin.
“Alright, looks like they’re about to leave. Let’s go.”
Watching Aierjisi and Yake exit the bath, Weirafiya stood up and dragged Yaser out as they headed back to rest and sleep.
Meanwhile… Aierjisi and Yake returned to their room.
“Yake, tomorrow is the day of the final battle. Are you nervous?”
“I’m okay. After all, I’m not the main player in the battle plan. I’m just supposed to hold off Diablo. What about you? You’re the one heading into their Base Camp tomorrow. Are you nervous?”
“Nervous? Who wouldn’t be?”
Tomorrow, she would be breaking into enemy territory. If she said she wasn’t nervous, it’d be a lie. And the worst part was if she failed to break out, it’d be game over for her.
“Don’t worry. No need to feel anxious. If you can’t break free tomorrow, I’ll rush in and rescue you.”
“Really? If I don’t make it out, how do you plan on rescuing me?”
“Don’t know yet, but I’ll definitely come to save you.”
“Pfft.”
Yake, as always, hadn’t thought about much, just wanting to rush in to save her. But it was that very trait of his that gave her comfort.
