“Honestly, I have no idea who we’re supposed to be serving here.” A well-built, heavily made-up woman couldn’t help but speak up.
“If it weren’t for the big bucks, there’s no way I’d lower myself to serve some other woman’s man.”
“Alright, alright, you think you’ve got it bad? I feel just as wrong about this. Am I worse off than you?”
“Hey, we don’t even know what he looks like yet. I bet he’s some weird foreign dude.”
As these two women approached the bed, their eyes lit up when they saw Brother Lin Xuan lying there.

They had never seen such a good-looking man before!
And judging by his attire, he was clearly rich. This time, they might not only make money but also hook up with a wealthy tycoon.
These two women felt a surge of excitement inside.

The two women were startled.

One of the women calmed down and said to Xiaoxiao, “He’s already been drugged with Chinese medicine, so don’t worry. He might even come onto us himself.”

“Is that so?” Lin Xuan sat up from the bed, his expression icy.

The two women started to doubt.
He didn’t seem like someone who had been drugged.

“What do you plan to do?” One of the women felt a sudden wave of intense fear.
“Not much, just want you ladies to stay put in this room.”
Lin Xuan wasn’t letting them go; these people were strong evidence that Ye Li had drugged him.
Two hired mercenaries hiding in the shadows frowned.
Looks like the drug wasn’t potent enough. They needed to step in and add more.
They stepped out from the shadows.
“So, you’re all coming out, huh?” Lin Xuan narrowed his eyes. Perfect, he wouldn’t have to hunt them down individually.
“Mr. Lin,” a scar-faced mercenary, looking menacing, took out a small packet of powder, “If you know what’s good for you, swallow this!”
“Sorry, I’m not that kind of guy,” Lin Xuan smirked coldly.
“In that case, don’t blame us,” the one-eyed mercenary sneered.
The two mercenaries moved towards Lin Xuan together.
Lin Xuan narrowed his eyes. Looks like he’d have to practice on these two guys first before dealing with Ye Li.
Lin Xuan appeared gentle and handsome, a typical pretty boy. These mercenaries assumed he lacked fighting skills and thought they could easily capture him and force-feed him the powder.
The scar-faced mercenary reached for Lin Xuan’s shoulder. Suddenly, Lin Xuan grabbed his arm, twisted it, and threw him over his shoulder.
The scar-faced mercenary’s back slammed hard against the ground with a dull thud.
The other mercenary’s face changed.
He had thought Lin Xuan was weak, but now he realized Lin Xuan had some skill.
This mercenary swung a punch at Lin Xuan. Lin Xuan kicked him hard in the chest, sending him flying.
“Cough… cough… cough…” The mercenary clutched his chest, lying on the ground, coughing painfully.

Lin Xuan took out the ropes and tied the two mercenaries up tightly.

Lin Xuan returned to the two mercenaries and took out a small knife, lightly moving it across their faces.

“You can’t do anything to us! What you’re doing is illegal!” The scar-faced mercenary gritted his teeth.

The two mercenaries clenched their fists tightly.

Lin Xuan smiled faintly, “Simple. Contact your employer and find a way to bring them here.”
“This…” The mercenaries hesitated.
A major rule in their line of work was to never reveal the employer’s identity. Bringing the employer here risked losing their status as mercenaries if the organization found out!
“Seems like you’re stuck, let me help you decide.” Lin Xuan placed the knife back near the scar-faced mercenary’s groin.

He took out his phone and contacted Ye Li.
“How’s the situation going? Did Lin Xuan fall for it?” Ye Li asked anxiously.
The scar-faced mercenary nervously glanced at Lin Xuan before answering, “Sir, please rest assured, everything’s normal. However, there’s something that requires your presence. I’m a bit stuck here.”
