Chapter 10: Give Me One Too!
Night Watcher Base.
Night Lan accompanied Zero Meow and White Fish to watch the live stream of Clear Liao Songstress’s concert.
As the live stream ended, the concert finally concluded beautifully.
“Phew~”
Zero Meow put down the two glowing blue support sticks in her hand.
From her still slightly blushing face, it looked like she wasn’t fully calm yet.
“Huff huff meow~ Clear Liao Songstress’s voice is really great. I wish I could get a signature from her in person, but unfortunately I didn’t manage to grab a ticket…”
White Fish comforted her, “Next time we definitely will.”
“When will that next time be? Clear Liao Songstress isn’t an every-day event, you know. Who knows where her next concert will be held, if it’s too far away, I definitely won’t make it.”
Zero Meow flopped face-down on the table, her face drooping like a wilted flower, turning into a useless kitty.
White Fish put a hand on top of Zero Meow’s head, stroking gently.
Though the former seemed even younger than the latter, it gave off a comforting big sister feeling.
White Fish could understand how Zero Meow felt as well.
She had also been captivated by Clear Liao’s voice just now herself.
If a first-time concert-goer like her was tempted to go see Clear Liao in person, it made no sense for a fan like Zero Meow.
That songstress really was amazing, no wonder she had so many supporters.
White Fish thought to herself.
She wondered what was going through Night Lan’s mind.
Thinking about it, White Fish looked over at Night Lan beside her and found she seemed lost in thought.
“What’s wrong with you, Night Lan?”
“Eh? Nothing, really nothing.”
Night Lan shook her head, coming out of her daze.
Seeing her like this, White Fish couldn’t help but show a look of confusion.
“Is there something important Night Lan was thinking about?”
“Mmm… just spaced out a bit, don’t worry about it~”
“Is that so?”
White Fish pondered.
She felt Night Lan wasn’t just spacing out, but she wouldn’t ask anything.
But Zero Meow wouldn’t let Night Lan get away that easily.
“Blasphemy meow! You spaced out when you saw Clear Liao’s concert? That’s quite disrespectful!”
“Eh? Eh? Not at all.” Night Lan quickly denied it.
However, Zero Meow pounced directly, pinning the unfortunate Night Lan down with a cute yet fierce expression, sharp fangs showing.
“So tell me, how was Clear Liao Songstress’s performance?”
“Ugh…it was great, very pleasant!”
“That’s too cursory meow! Be more detailed!”
“Ahh…this…but that’s all I can say. I’m not capable of expressing it with grand words~”
Just like most people would default to the easy phrase “d*mn awesome” in reaction to shocking stuff, not everyone’s a connoisseur.
When encountering something they like, it’s unrealistic to write pages upon pages.
But…
Last night, while watching Clear Liao’s concert, Night Lan did actually space out for a bit.
The cause was from over there in the Night Star area.
Likewise, there was another talented girl singing, overshadowing Clear Liao’s voice, affecting Night Star Lan in both her bodies.
After hearing both voices, compared to Clear Liao, Night Lan was more enchanted by the theater group’s singer.
It was like her soul was completely engrossed~
Of course, Night Lan only dared think this inside her head.
If she said in front of Zero Meow that there was a songstress more impressive than Clear Liao, she’d likely step into a landmine.
Night Lan wasn’t the type to do low EQ things.
But it seemed Zero Meow wasn’t willing to let her off that easily.
Clear Liao was just an excuse; pushing Night Lan down to see her adorable reaction seemed to be the true intent.
That’s a typical loli for sure.
But this seemingly careless Zero Meow seemed to forget there was a White Fish right beside her, one who swore to protect Night Lan.
Seeing Night Lan being pushed over by Zero Meow, White Fish walked directly behind Zero Meow, scratching her tiny waist.
“Itchy~”
“Meow! Hahaha~ Don’t tickle, it tickles so much~ hahaha~”
Zero Meow quickly moved off Night Lan, throwing herself down nearby and becoming a useless kitty again.
Sigh~
Night Lan sat up, feeling rather helpless.
She wondered when she could take the initiative herself.
Each time she got pushed over by a younger girl, it was too embarrassing.
Lolis shouldn’t have their way entirely, after all.
Besides, Night Lan was also a loli.
Was it enjoyable?
Hmm…yeah, kinda. The thrill of being tackled by a girl was great, with a faint scent mixed with the loli vibes entering her nose, making her heart race uncontrollably.
In other words, Night Lan sort of liked this feeling, being a loli enthusiast after all.
But why was she always on the receiving end?
Thinking here, Night Lan glanced at the nearby White Fish and flipped her over.
Pang.
A light sound, and Night Lan and White Fish stared at each other.
White Fish was momentarily stunned, completely clueless.
She felt bewildered – she had just helped Night Lan get away from Zero Meow, so why did Night Lan flip her suddenly?
Hmm…while there was some excitement and tension, confusion dominated.
“Night Lan…?”
Meanwhile, the zero meow on the floor suddenly seemed to discover something incredible, eyes gleaming.
The next second, she rushed to grab a sketchpad and sat beside Night Lan and White Fish, sketching furiously.
“How wonderful! Perfect material! Don’t move, I’ll draw both of you~!”
Night Lan and White Fish seemed to ignore the meowing Zero Meow, continuing to stare at each other quietly.
Over time, the color on White Fish’s face deepened, making her look extremely adorable.
“Ugh…”
Night Lan watched White Fish’s innocent and helpless cute expression, then stepped back.
Before White Fish could ask, Night Lan closed off mentally.
“I’m sorry…”
Clearly, taking the initiative was impossible.
This feeling of guilt was incredibly high, as if she were bullying a little loli who shouldn’t be bullied.
What a pain.
Her whole life, she would probably end up getting pushed over by girls smaller than her.
She didn’t care anymore about her dignity.
“Meow~”
Elsewhere, Zero Meow happily observed her masterpiece in her hand, feeling very satisfied.
Now all she needed was to perfect the details.
Once completed, it would surely be a timeless piece!
Alas, such a work couldn’t be shared with fellow enthusiasts; she’d just keep it to herself.
White Fish sat up, her heartbeat gradually calming down, looking concernedly at Night Lan. “Hey, Night Lan, what’s with you?”
“Nothing…you could say I’ve gotten a little sick.”
“Oh~ I don’t mind if you ‘get sick’ often, Night Lan. No matter how many times, I’ll accept it because it’s you~” White Fish said with a smile, full of understanding.
“Err…”
Hearing this, Night Lan felt an even heavier sense of guilt.
What’s this kind of cute little angel?
Then nearby, Zero Meow soon approached with great enthusiasm.
“I want one too, give me one too, meow!”
“No way.” Night Lan refused decisively and confidently.
“Why not, meow?!”
The room instantly filled with lively atmosphere.
