### Chapter 14: Simple Wishes
In a dimly lit room…
Eypar was curiously observing the body in her arms, not wanting to miss any detail.
Night Star’s hair was so nice to touch—smooth, soft, and carrying a pleasant aroma. Eypar was completely smitten!
And there was more! After possessing Night Lan, Eypar could clearly feel Night Star’s body temperature.
If it weren’t for the fact that she didn’t want to wake the sleeping Night Star, Eypar would’ve shouted with excitement!
So awesome!
Suddenly, she thought that continuing like this didn’t seem so bad after all.
But tomorrow would still come, and when dawn broke, she would have to leave.
If that was the case, she would make the most of this limited time and enjoy it!
Now, with Night Star hugging Night Lan’s tiny waist, it was as if she were hugging Eypar’s waist, filling her with a deep sense of satisfaction from being so dependently held.
For the first time, this was truly the first!
So this is what it feels like to be touched?
Eypar felt a bit light-headed.
If… and only if, even in her ghostly state, Night Star could still touch her.
I wonder if this tiny wish can come true?
Bending down over Night Lan and feeling the warmth of Night Star’s touch, an incredibly strong desire surged within Eypar.
Strong enough that even the slumbering Star inside Night Star and Night Lan stirred and responded.

This was a new wish, a new wish-giver.
The wish-giver’s identity was clear, and the content of the wish was recognized.
Method of fulfillment: direct.
It was like the day when the Star awakened within Night Star Lan; the peculiar wish she made before bed didn’t come with complicated rituals.
The identity of the wish-giver and the content of the wish would influence how the Star activated.
Night Star Lan, still dreaming, had no idea that Eypar, possessing one of her bodies without a clue, had made a very simple wish without her consent.

Eypar’s mood was delightfully cheerful; her breathing had calmed from the initial rapid pace to a steady rhythm.

She gently held Night Star’s petite body, succumbing to the drowsiness brought by Night Lan’s body, and began to enjoy her very first sleep in her ghostly career.

In that moment, Eypar was lost in long-awaited dreams within Night Lan, her lips curling into a happy smile.

In the dim room, the little puppet named Little Lian, placed not far from the bed, suddenly glowed with a chilling red light.
It had witnessed everything happening in the room!

Through Little Lian’s perspective, a little puppet master watched every move Eypar made.
At the Rising Sun Theater, Lianhua was practicing puppetry and pouted slightly, seeming a bit dissatisfied.

Thanks to Eypar, the already possessive Star Eclipse consciousness of Little Lian was on the verge of taking action against that pesky ghost girl.

To this, Little Lian far away at Night Star’s house could only gradually calm down.
The sleeping Eypar had no idea she had narrowly escaped a disaster.

Lianhua in the theater sighed softly, already feeling a little emotional inside.

As Night Star and Night Lan got out of bed to wash up, they pulled the covers away.
“Ah? Yes, yes, yes! Watching you sleep is super interesting.” Eypar boasted, her eyes not blinking, and her silly hairdo desperately helped conceal her reaction.
If Night Star found out that Eypar had taken over her body for the entire night, her ghostly career would be utterly ruined!
Yet Night Star didn’t seem to notice anything amiss, her expression suggesting she had something to say but couldn’t get the words out.
“Let’s forget it.”
As Night Star and Night Lan walked into the washroom to freshen up, determined to greet the world with the cutest appearance.
Eypar floated quietly behind them.
Her ghostly form was on point.

Watching Night Star wipe her face with a towel, Eypar couldn’t resist inching closer.
“Night Star, where are you going today?”
“Hmm… I probably can’t slack off at home.”
Night Lan was heading to the Night Watcher Base for her daily communication and learning with Zero Meow and White Fish, while Night Star was off to the theater to watch Lianhua’s puppetry, immersing herself in the troupe’s atmosphere.
Unbeknownst to her, the once carefree Night Star Lan no longer had time to simply slack off.
Who would’ve thought even a small slacker could lead such a fulfilling busy life?
Absolutely unimaginable before.

Night Star shook off those thoughts, reaching for her comb to tidy her hair, but Eypar had floated too close, blocking her view of it.
“Could you step aside for a sec?”
Night Star instinctively pushed Eypar’s face away.
In that moment she remembered that ghosts couldn’t be touched; they’d just pass through bodies.
But what puzzled Night Star was that her hand had grazed something icy cold, soft as jelly.
That was Eypar’s face.
“Eh?”
“Meow meow meow?”
