In the past timeline, Night Star had tried to touch Eypar but just passed right through her, like she was made of air.
Now, as Night Star attempted to push Eypar away, she accidentally touched her face! The sensation was incredibly real!

Night Star pulled her hand back, puzzled, then extended it again to touch Eypar’s face, giving it a little pinch for good measure.

Meanwhile, Eypar seemed completely taken aback, her fluffy hair standing on end, feeling the warmth of Night Star’s little hand like her soul had left her body.
“Night Star… you touched me!” Eypar suddenly squealed with excitement.
Night Star jolted and quickly withdrew her hand, stammering, “Y-Yeah, I touched you, but what’s going on?”
Eypar was now spinning around Night Star in glee, eventually wrapping her arms around her waist and nuzzling closer.
“Night Star’s body… hehehe… such a soft feeling… hehe~ I feel so happy, even happier than when I pull pranks~ hehehe~”

This is bad.
The prankster ghost has turned into a flirty ghost!
Wait, hold up. If she can be touched, then the ways to prank her have just multiplied!

Night Star quickly shoved Eypar’s face away, wanting to figure things out first.
After all, Eypar was, in a way, a type of Star Eclipse, and the changes happening with the eclipses definitely needed attention.
From being untouchable to touchable? Now that’s a huge change!
The common sense of a Night Watcher elbowed her in the brain—she had to clear this up.
With newfound seriousness, Night Star grabbed Eypar’s fluffy hair and pulled her back to the bedroom.

Seeing Night Star’s cute, slightly shy face, Eypar realized she hadn’t explained herself clearly and knew how it might sound. A faint blush crept to her cheeks.

At these words, Night Star remembered Eypar controlling Lan Feng Su Yu before, and it quickly clicked.

“Being hugged by Night Star feels really nice!” Eypar answered with a smile.
Night Star’s face immediately turned dark.
“We’ll discuss that later; first, explain how I can touch you.”

But she did have a question: why was it so easy to fulfill Eypar’s wish without having to mess around with timelines while White Fish and Lianhua’s situations were such a hassle?

As long as Eypar didn’t turn into something terrible, it’d be fine.

“Oh~” Seeing Night Star relax, Eypar unconsciouly eased her own tension.

Though Eypar had wished for Night Star to touch her, it was fine since both Night Star and Night Lan were the same entity and could touch each other.

Night Star flashed a friendly yet menacing smile at Eypar.
Eypar was in deep trouble.
“I’m sorry!”
“Apologies won’t cut it—prepare for the reckoning!”

Lianhua arrived near the neighborhood, ready to hang out with Night Star.
Just as she reached the door, she heard a girl’s wailing.

Night Star was “giving a stern lesson” to the ghost girl who loved pulling pranks.
