Chapter 145: Marry Me Already
And so, Jiang Kekai, Jiang Hanhang, and Xia Yu could leave together, while the poor fellow Jiang Dong was left behind. Why? Because… well, the burden on his shoulders was just a tad too heavy.
Since they were going back together, they had to share a ride. It’s convenient for protection and for the sisterly chats between Jiang Kekai and Jiang Hanhang. “Sister Zhao Wei, let’s head to Xia Yu’s place first. Xia Yu and I need to grab a laptop.”

Zhao Wei then began contacting the bodyguard convoy in front to change direction towards the community where Xia Yu lived.
Jiang Hanhang quietly listened, not saying a word. She was just as curious about where her sister had been staying. And now that she was bored, it was a good excuse to take a look.

No surprise there! When Jiang Kekai unlocked the door, all the room’s details filled Jiang Hanhang’s eyes, and while it was passable, it was a bit cramped for her taste.
The purpose of Jiang Kekai’s return was just to grab the laptop. Once she had it, she promptly locked the door again.
That’s right! Jiang Kekai had taken the keys with her when she left, as one must always be cautious. Who knows if Xia Le would sneak in to play with Xia Yu’s laptop?

Xia Ling’s tone was laced with disbelief. After that one time she saw Jiang Kekai’s true nature, she found her friend way too dangerous for her sister.

Grinning, Jiang Kekai quickly pecked a kiss on Xia Yu’s cheek, her voice traveling through the phone. “You….”
Not just Xia Ling, but Jiang Hanhang was taken aback too. Wait, did this girl really have such a close relationship with her sister?
Ignoring the strangely outrageous things Xia Ling was saying through the phone, Jiang Kekai continued, “Come on, it’s not a big deal that I kissed her. Let’s hang up, shall we~?”
And with that, the call ended, Xia Ling lost the banter round, and in the meanwhile, Xia Yu was completely bewildered by their dynamic, surrounded by their playful banter and Xia Ling always losing. The convoy set off, smoothly winding through the city, leading Xia Yu into a world she had never seen before. Two and a half hours later, the convoy finally arrived unscathed at the grand Jiang estate in Demon City.
Of course, as the Managing Director of Demon City’s top conglomerate, Jiang Bin’s estate was no simple dwelling. It boasted an expansive courtyard outside, and inside, there were several luxurious villas, a private pool, and gardens galore.

Hearing Jiang Kekai’s voice, Xia Yu finally snapped to reality. So this was Sister Little Ning’s home? How lavish!
Once they stepped out of the car, Xia Yu couldn’t help but marvel at the surroundings, her curiosity piqued, as it was her first time seeing such a place. Seeing this intrigued little creature, Jiang Kekai teased, “Like it? Marry me and all of this will be yours.”
Forget Xia Yu’s shy reaction; standing off to the side, Jiang Hanhang rolled her eyes at her sister. How brazen could she be, showing off so obviously with her little sister still present?
Without further ado, Jiang Hanhang strode past Jiang Kekai and Xia Yu, deciding not to walk with them anymore. She couldn’t shake off the feeling that staying around them was like being served dog food.
Didn’t Xia Yu already have a partner? Such oddities.
And then, Jiang Kekai led Xia Yu into the house.
The moment they stepped inside, Xia Yu was greeted by the sight of several maids in aprons diligently cleaning the foyer. It was her first time seeing maids, and she remained absolutely fascinated. Jiang Kekai, however, said nothing and just escorted Xia Yu into an elevator, hitting the button for the fourth floor.
“Sister Little Ning, your home is so big!”

Since Jiang Kekai didn’t expect to pull Xia Yu into a quick agreement, she let it slide, carrying two laptops in one hand and holding Xia Yu’s little hand in the other as she grinned, “Come on, Xia Yu, let’s head to our room.”
Our room? Was Sister Little Ning planning to share a room with her?
Though curious about what Jiang Kekai meant, shy little Xia Yu didn’t dare to ask too many questions. After all, she would find out soon enough! Quickly, she understood what Jiang Kekai meant.

Once inside the shoe removal area, Jiang Kekai demonstrated how to take off shoes first. After all, one couldn’t just trample on such a beautiful carpet. It would ruin its appeal! Considering Xia Yu might find bending over challenging, Jiang Kekai personally helped her take off her shoes, treating Xia Yu like royalty. Xia Yu was left unsure how to repay this kindness.
And so, both Jiang Kekai and Xia Yu stood in socks and ventured into this beautiful haven, following Jiang Kekai into a grandiose space.
Let’s just say the young lady’s room was fit for a young lady — it was nothing like an ordinary home. The quality of everything here was top-tier; no cheap knock-offs allowed.
