“Ah, hello, Mr. Dean. Please have a seat.”
After realizing the situation, Gregor, who had just returned home, quickly extended his hand to shake with the elderly man in front of him, then immediately invited him to sit down again.
Gregor then sat down on the sofa, and after glancing at the empty coffee table in front of him, he turned his serious expression toward his younger sister, Doro.
“Doro, are you just going to sit there while the teacher comes to visit? Hurry up and make some tea.” Gregor said to Doro with a hint of reproach in his tone.
“Eh… ah… oh…” Doro was momentarily taken aback by Gregor’s words, then quickly got up and went to prepare tea, while Gregor turned to look at the elderly man on the sofa, smiling as he spoke.
“I’m sorry, sir. My sister and I are both from the countryside, and we’re not quite familiar with the proper etiquette, so please forgive us.”
“Hehe, that’s alright. I believe manners are merely external for a person; they are not the most crucial thing.” The elderly man replied with a smile, his gaze curiously resting on Doro, who was making tea, while Doro threw him a glance in return.
Eventually, Doro brought the prepared tea to Gregor and the elderly man. After tasting it, the elderly man nodded slightly, while Gregor, feeling a bit anxious, spoke up.
“Mr. Dean… um… you’re here regarding Doro, right? Is it that she… um… has done something wrong at school, or is there some issue with her performance?”
“Hehe, Mr. Meyshos, you worry too much. Miss Meyshos is doing very well at school; she is an outstanding student.” The elderly man looked at Doro again and continued with a smile.
“Miss Meyshos loves studying at school, works diligently, respects her teachers, and cares for her classmates. She attends class on time every day without ever being late, and she takes the lead in cleaning the church at school, showing sincere reverence to the deity. To put it simply, Miss Meyshos is one of the most gifted and virtuous students I’ve encountered in my years of teaching; she is a genius!”

“As Doro’s guardian, I sincerely thank you, Mr. Dean, and the entire school for your guidance. I will personally visit the school to express my gratitude when I have the time.”
“There’s no need for that, Mr. Meyshos. I think very soon, Miss Meyshos won’t need to attend St. Amanda School anymore.” The elderly man continued speaking to Gregor, who was immediately taken aback.
“Doro won’t be attending school anymore… Mr. Dean, what do you mean by that? Could it be that Doro has caused a great trouble?” Gregor asked with concern, and the elderly man smiled reassuringly.

Under the setting sun, the elegantly dressed Audric walked slowly down the street after declining Gregor’s invitation to treat. Beside him was Doro, who had come to see him off.
“You have a brother who cares for you quite a bit; why not try to be more open about some things with him?” Audric said as they walked, to which Doro candidly replied.
“To avoid restrictions, I suppose. If Gregor knew I was studying the mysterious, he would probably find ways to persuade me to give it up, better to keep it a secret.”
“Hehe… it’s nice to have family nearby; cherish it more.” After a slight sigh, Audric paused for a moment, then looked at Doro and continued speaking.
“I’ve written the letter for you; your brother has also arranged everything. You can head to Tivyán with peace of mind. We are both leaving this city.”
“You are leaving too?”
“Yes, since my whereabouts have been discovered by Lu Ke, it is indeed time to leave. Lu Ke has suffered a setback with one of his curse bone avatars and is weakened, so I can take this opportunity to travel and seek ways to recover my strength.
“You can keep the favor I owe you until you need it; just notify me when you do.”
