### Chapter 185: Beware of the Jiang Family
Just now, Xia Yu saw her father questioning Jiang Kekai. She understood that Jiang Kekai wanted to leave, but… why did she have to bring her along?
Xia Yu usually followed every word Jiang Kekai said, but this time she hesitated. Her gut feeling told her that if she really moved out with Jiang Kekai, her parents would probably get super mad. That wouldn’t be right.
But Xia Yu also couldn’t outright tell Jiang Kekai “no.” Plus, she didn’t want to make her cute little Sister Little Ning sad. So, she was in quite a bind.
Seeing Xia Yu like this, Jiang Kekai could only guess what was on her mind. And she didn’t want Xia Yu to be struggling because of her either.
So, with a heavy sigh for Xia Yu’s sake, Jiang Kekai pinched Xia Yu’s little face and started backing down: “Okay, okay. For Xia Yu, I won’t argue with them for now. Sleep, sleep.”
With that, Jiang Kekai hugged Xia Yu and got comfortable in bed, ready to close her eyes and drift off to dreamland.
Though it was still early, since Jiang Kekai said so, Xia Yu obediently shifted her position and nestled into Jiang Kekai’s arms, finding a cozy spot and closing her eyes to snooze peacefully. The room was quiet again.
On one side, there was this sweet scene between Jiang Kekai and Xia Yu, with the big Xia Yu and the little Xia Yu going to bed early and waking up early.
But, across the hall, things were totally different. Ever since Jiang Hanhang dragged Xia Ling back to their room and closed the door, these two silly little girls started another heated pillow fight. They were worn out and starving.
“Hey, do you have anything to eat in your room? I’m hungry! Find me something quick, or I might have to start eating people in the middle of the night!” Jiang Hanhang, lying in bed, nudged Xia Ling’s adorable, droopy face with her little foot.
Xia Ling glanced at Jiang Hanhang, who had become extra mischievous today, and being too exhausted to move, lazily replied, “There’s a big bag of chicken and mushroom instant noodles in the cabinet. If you’re hungry, go get it yourself.”
“Hey, I could be your guest, y’know? Go find me some food!”
Continuing her annoying antics, Jiang Hanhang kept poking Xia Ling’s face with her foot, urging her to hurry up.
