### Chapter 21 Face to Face? Face Queen!
Night Star and her gaming friend were chatting and playing, but eventually just hung out online, chatting like crazy.
“Hey, did you know you have an older sister?”
“Yeah, she’s really reliable, even though she always looks cold, she has the kindest heart.”
“Is she that kind of person who puts on a tough exterior but is actually gentle inside? That’s so cool.”
Night Star was tempted to share her own situation, like living alone and stuff.
But now as a loli, with two extra of herself, it felt like an opportune moment to flex some skills.
“I don’t have a sister, but I have a super cute little sister! She’s soft to hug, smells nice, and is truly amazing!”
“—”
The friend paused for a moment, clearly puzzled.
“Um… don’t you know how to describe girls? It sounds creepy even if it’s true, and others would definitely call the cops if they heard this.”
Night Star immediately blushed and felt embarrassed.
“Uh… sorry, I’m not good at this.”
“Uh-huh.” The friend chuckled. “I can tell, though—that you really love your sister.”
“That’s obvious. She’s super adorable; of course, she’s lovable!”
“It sounds like you’re obsessed with your sister. But me too, I’m obsessed with my older sister.”
Night Star tilted her head in thought.
Obsessed with her sister?
Not quite.
Loving oneself is called what?
Narcissism?
Then the conversation shifted to another topic.
“I was thinking—since we’re in the same city and chat so well, why don’t we meet in person?” Night Star finally mustered up the courage.
She instantly regretted it and wanted to bury her head in the pillow.
After a pause, the friend replied, “I want to, but my body isn’t in good shape…”
“No problem, I’ll come see you.”
Night Star felt a blush creeping up her cheeks. It’s one thing to say those words, but quite another to hear them.
“Really? You’re serious?”
“Yeah, I mean it.”
Now there was no turning back.
Night Star felt this was her bravest decision yet.
“Oh, I look forward to it.”
“Wait, you agree?”
“Yeah, it’s hard to refuse a friend’s request, and… I want to meet you, at least to avoid regretting it later.”
“Great!”
Excitement bubbled up in Night Star—she even considered doing somersaults in bed, then wrapping herself in a blanket like a loli roll.
After exchanging contact details, a friendship bridge was built.
With the addresses shared, both logged off satisfied.
Night Star held her phone, curled up and rolled around in bed, waiting until Ye Lan got home, and even forgot to open the door.
“Mmm… hehe.”
After a bit, Night Star sat at her desk, staring at the map on her phone while enjoying Ye Lan’s feeding service. Blissful.
“Oh, this place seems familiar.”
Looking at the location on the phone with Ye Lan, both fell into deep thought.
“Huh? Isn’t this near the Night Watcher Base?”
They froze.
Then, Ye Lan stroked her chin, pondering, “Could it be… I mean, maybe? Our gaming friend might be a Night Watcher, right?”
Night Star jolted, “No way, impossible. Besides, they said their body is weak—they could never be a Night Watcher.”
Of course, it does make sense.
Probably a coincidence.
“Whatever, let’s finish eating.”
Ye Lan kept feeding Night Star bit by bit.
Night Star casually swiped her phone, occasionally licking Ye Lan’s tender fingers, all smug about it.
It’s just efficient use of bodies.
Then, later, they’d shower together, play games, sleep side by side, snuggle. Perfect day!
Suddenly, something clicked for Night Star.
“Our meeting’s in tomorrow. Which body should we use?”
“I of course!” Laolan laughed confidently.
Laolan was already a Night Watcher, making the trip convenient. As for Night Star, she’d stay at home, sulk, and try to take care of Ye Lan’s fish.
Sure, decided!
—
Next day.
Night Watcher Base.
White Paint came as usual, bringing her sister’s favorite food.
“White Fish, anything happy happening? You seem so joyful.”
White Fish smiled slightly at White Paint, “Sister, I’ve always been happy.”
“But today feels different.”
“How can you tell?”
“You sure know me well.” She pretended to pout, then continued, “Actually, I arranged an offline meeting with a friend. I gave them our address.”
“Friend?” White Paint was puzzled. She wasn’t aware of any other friends.
White Fish explained, “An online gaming friend. We chatted a lot and agreed to meet.”
Thinking this over, White Paint said, “Oh, okay. Wait here then; maybe I’ll meet this friend.”
“Alright, nothing else I can do.”
Pouting, White Fish knew White Paint had work but was putting it aside for her.
White Paint felt her sister could be naive and trusted too easily, especially with strangers. Thus, she needed to scrutinize this friend fully.
If he passed, she’d allow them to be friends. And whether he was an ordinary person didn’t matter.
This special medical facility managed by Night Watchers wasn’t exclusive to them. Relatives of Night Watchers could visit but wouldn’t know their secrets.
White Fish was an example. Ordinary visitors could only enter through proper procedures.

Meanwhile…
Laolan came to the Night Watcher Base as usual and headed straight to the medical center.
As a Night Watcher, simple facial recognition got her through.
Glancing through the facility’s description, Laolan had some hunches.
“So, my gaming friend could possibly be a Night Watcher relative?”
Sending a message, she added:
“I’m here, heading to your place now.”
