### Chapter 7: The Value of Star Eclipses Treatment
Uni sent her medical info to the two with her phone.
After reading Uni’s condition, Night Lan didn’t seem fazed at all.
“Well, well! So, the early awakening of the Stars caused a power overdose that damaged her organs, leading to irreversible decline? It seems using the Stars to heal her is out of the question since she’ll reject that power! We’ll have to rely on modern technology and medicine to keep her going… this is pretty grim.”
Night Lan fell into deep thought.
Uni’s condition was strikingly similar to that of White Fish.
White Fish had also suffered decline due to an early awakening of her Stars. She couldn’t be healed through Stars either; not even modern medicine worked on her.
If Night Star Lan hadn’t used the Wish Machine to help White Fish, she would have faced dire life-threatening circumstances.
But, in a way, Night Star Lan had only helped indirectly.
The true miracle behind White Fish’s recovery was her mom.
White Fish’s mom had transformed the Life Curse within her into a Life Blessing, and that made all the difference!
And now, White Fish’s mom’s Star Eclipse was nestled within Night Lan’s body. Might as well give it a whirl!
Night Lan shifted her gaze from Uni’s medical report back to Uni herself.
Uni noticed Night Lan’s expression was still full of confidence, as if the medical report hadn’t intimidated her in the slightest.
Could it be that this little loli hadn’t taken it seriously?
Uni couldn’t help but wonder.
No, it couldn’t be. It looked like Night Lan’s confidence had only increased after reading the report.
Who knows? Maybe she really could cure herself!
With this thought, Uni’s heart began to feel a glimmer of hope.
Could Night Lan actually do it?
If her body truly improved, she wouldn’t have to trouble Xi Xia with all those errands.
And Xi Xia wouldn’t have to take on those dangerous missions or bear that immense pressure anymore.
If possible, Uni wanted Xi Xia to take a nice, long break.
As friends, it just felt wrong for her to be doing so much for her. Uni felt a pang of guilt and heartache thinking about it.
Just then, Night Lan’s voice broke her reverie.
“Little Uni, close your eyes! I’m about to start!”
“Um…”
Uni slowly shut her eyes, lying quietly in bed, her body starting to tense up involuntarily.
She was nervous.
It’d be a lie to say she wasn’t. Even after all those failed treatments, she still hoped this one would succeed.
And for some reason, this time she believed that Night Lan could pull it off.
Even if she looked more like a novice than a professional, just a little Night Watcher, probably with even less experience than her.
Could this being really be better than the seasoned Night Watchers and the Sunlight Night Watcher who had treated her in the past?
Uni didn’t know, but she was willing to believe.
With that thought, her body gradually relaxed, preparing herself for whatever was about to unfold.
Seeing this, Night Lan also relaxed, closed her eyes, and began to pray internally.
“White Fish’s mom, please help this person before me…”
In the next moment, a golden shimmer arose.
Night Lan’s body became enveloped in a layer of golden light, radiating an otherworldly sanctity.
Uni’s body trembled slightly, as if sensing something.
This is… the aura of a Star Eclipse.
But why does Night Lan have the aura of a Star Eclipse?
A wave of questions flooded Uni’s mind, and she wanted to open her eyes and ask, but her subconscious warned her against it.
Despite the faint aura around her, there was a warmth to it that Uni found comforting.
After all, Stars and Star Eclipses have such opposing natures, yet Uni didn’t dislike this feeling at all.
Just trust her.
Uni knew she wasn’t a valuable target and sensed Night Lan was a kind-hearted kid, so she chose to believe.
Meanwhile, for Night Lan…
That golden shimmer indicated the activation of Star Eclipse’s Life Blessing.
Clearly, this Star Eclipse was responding to Night Lan’s prayer.
“Uh.”
Night Lan opened her eyes and reached out to touch Uni’s body.
Almost instantly, a stream of golden light flowed from her fingers into Uni’s body.
The figure lying on the bed was imbued with golden radiance as if undergoing some sacred ritual.
“Ah…”
Uni couldn’t help a small m*an, feeling a warm, delightful sensation wash over her.
What’s happening?
It felt like some kind of power was rejuvenating her body, replenishing her vitality that had long been in decline, making this feel surreal.
Is this a dream?
Uni slowly opened her eyes, staring blankly at the golden glow enveloping her body, words stuck in her throat.
A few seconds later, the golden light disappeared.
Night Lan looked at Uni expectantly, unable to contain her excitement, “So? How does your body feel? Better?”
“Um…”
Uni concentrated on her body, noticing she felt much stronger than before.
The fatigue she’d always been plagued with had vanished—using a Star wouldn’t leave her drained, either! She felt a thousand times better!
Had her body really healed?
Uni wasn’t sure.
“I… don’t know.”
Kong Yu Bai suggested softly, “How about we let the doctor check? That’ll clear everything up!”
“Right! I’ll go grab the doctor right now!”
With that, Night Lan dashed out of the room in search of a doctor.
A little while later, Night Lan returned tugging a doctor along.
“Doctor, please, help check her out! Pretty please!”
The doctor nodded at her urgency.
He pulled out a device and scanned Uni’s body. Within seconds, he gathered all the necessary info.
This was a tool from the Night Watcher’s medical department, using Star Technology to quickly assess a Night Watcher’s condition—be it Star state, mental state, or physical state. Super handy!
Night Lan rushed to look at the data but couldn’t make heads or tails of it and patiently awaited the doctor’s explanation.
The doctor shot a quick glance and got the full scoop on Uni’s condition.
“She’s just a bit weak, but otherwise, she’s totally fine! Just needs some rest to recover. Nothing to worry about.”
Hearing this, Night Lan exhaled in relief.
See? Told ya!
Just because Stars couldn’t help didn’t mean Star Eclipses couldn’t.
No Wish Machine needed this time!
Night Lan turned to thank the doctor. “Thank you for your help!”
“No problem! It’s my job. If you need anything else, come find me in the medical department.”
“Okay, okay!”
Night Lan waved goodbye to the departing doctor and turned her attention back to Uni.
She found Uni still dazed, as if she hadn’t quite comprehended what just happened.
“Did my body really recover?”
“Yup! With me on the case, it was a piece of cake!”
“Thank you…”
Uni’s heart raced with excitement, unable to believe that the condition that had plagued her for so long was resolved so simply.
But due to her naturally restrained personality, she didn’t express her emotions much.
Taking a deep breath to relax herself, Uni said earnestly to Night Lan, “I’ll keep your secret.”
“Eh? What secret?”
“Um, you kinda leaked a bit of Star Eclipse aura earlier, isn’t that a secret?” Uni looked a bit puzzled.
Night Lan suddenly came to her senses.
This certainly was a secret that couldn’t be exposed just yet, so she joined her hands together.
“Then it’s on you to keep it!”
