Chapter 16: Mo Rabbit Exposed
Rising Sun Theater.
The Group Leader and the others had already retreated into the shadows for a rest.
It seemed that the Grand Performance had drained a lot of their energy; even Lianhua had gone backstage for a quick snooze.
The Singer’s Star Eclipse awareness had slipped back into dreamland, while Kong Yu Bai’s consciousness had already returned and was now chatting with Night Star.
“Wow, I never thought the mastermind behind it all would be Xi Xia. The idea of being a Star Eclipse Hunter is just absurd!”
“Yeah, who would’ve thought she’d go so extreme?”
“Even if it’s to heal Uni, it still doesn’t justify… the way she caused chaos for the entire theater group.”
“Must be some serious psychological issues going on.”
The Singer appeared rather calm.
Seeing this, Night Star curiously asked, “Aren’t you angry, Singer?”
“Well, with my personality, I don’t get angry easily. Besides, it got solved perfectly, didn’t it? Night Star, you’re truly impressive! Even when the group lost control, you managed to pull everyone back on track. I admire you more and more!”
“Ugh… Although that makes me happy, it’s still a bit embarrassing…”
“Hehe, feeling shy because of a compliment? The Audience Performer is quite adorable, indeed.”

Night Star’s cheeks flushed as she covered her face, wishing she could bury her head in the ground.
The Singer gently patted Night Star’s head, her eyes filled with affection.
Suddenly, Night Star had an epiphany and shot her head up.
“Wait! There’s something I need to figure out!”
“What is it?”
“Something I’m really curious about.”
With that, Night Star called a bit louder, “Announcer, are you here? I need to talk to you!”
As soon as she finished speaking, a petite figure emerged from nearby shadows with a smile, saying, “What’s up? Audience Performer.”
She shows up out of nowhere!
The Announcer Loli!
Night Star seriously suspected this peculiar Loli was secretly watching the theater group every day, or maybe just keeping an eye on her. Otherwise, how could she always appear as soon as something happened?
Thinking about that suddenly felt a bit creepy…
Shaking her head to snap back to reality, Night Star fixed her gaze on the Announcer.
“Announcer… can you tell me your identity before you became a Star Eclipse? I’m really curious!”
“……”
The Announcer smiled but stayed silent. After a brief pause, she said, “While I’d love to answer your question, everyone has their own secrets, so I’m sorry, but I can’t share that with you.”
Night Star blinked and instinctively blurted out words.
“Mo Rabbit?”
“Ha!”
The Singer couldn’t help but laugh.
Well, she had held it in until now, but it seems that giggling revealed everything.
“……”
Mo Tu attempted to keep a calm expression to mask the turmoil of emotions inside but didn’t argue.
At this point, arguing seemed pointless.
Her ally, the Singer, had betrayed her; the truth was bound to come out.
Since that was the case, there was no need for her to hide anymore.
With the Audience Performer’s insight, if she detected even a slight hint of truth, no amount of excuses would be effective—they’d only come off as foolish.
Night Star’s eyes widened at the Announcer’s reaction, her expression one of shock.
“Wait, so it really is Mo Rabbit!? Why did you end up like this?!”
Instead of laughing right away, Night Star was genuinely puzzled about how she had become both Mo Rabbit and the Announcer.
Mo Tu glared at Night Star in silence.
“Why not ask the giggling Singer next to you?”
Hearing this, Night Star turned to the snickering Singer and quickly realized she had known the truth all along.
“Uh, Singer, have you known all along?”
“Yeah… I actually felt sorry for Mr. Mo Tu. At her request, I had to keep it a secret temporarily. Sorry it took me so long to tell you.”
“Well, I get that, but why did Mo Tu turn into a Loli?”
“Because of you.”
“What? Because of me? When did that happen?”
“Remember the last time you got drunk? Even while drunk, you were still fixated on the Announcer’s teasing. So, in that state, you made a wish for Mo Tu to become a Loli. That was the cause.”
“Shocking! Such a ridiculous wish actually came true?!”
The Singer patted Night Star’s head.
“Well, your Star is pretty powerful, so you need to be careful with it.”
“Uh, I think I understand now, but there’s still one thing I don’t get—why did Mo Rabbit become the Announcer?”
The Singer continued, “Because she joined the theater group a long time ago. After I became the Singer, she joined the group, and whether or not you were around, it was all the same timeline. As for why it’s Star Eclipse? That’s actually the Fraudster’s doing. You should know about the Fraudster’s ability, so no need for me to explain.”
“Oh~ I see.”
Night Star had a lightbulb moment as all her questions were answered.
No wonder the Loli Announcer gave her such a high sense of dissonance from the start. No wonder Mo Tu from Night Watcher Base had disappeared for so long—turns out they were the same person!

The Announcer let out a gentle sigh, looking rather helpless.
The Singer chimed in, “That name is quite adorable, you know.”
“If you hadn’t laughed out loud, I could’ve possibly brushed it off,” the Announcer shot a glance at the Singer, knowing she had done it on purpose.
“Still, if the Audience Performer doesn’t know, it might be hard to turn back, right?”
“That’s true, but honestly, I haven’t had enough fun yet.”
“Wow… Does that mean the Announcer is addicted?”
“No, I just think there are way more interesting things happening in the theater group than what I got to see over at Night Watchers.”
The Announcer remained her usual calm self, reverting to her original speaking style and tone.
This gave Night Star a different feeling.
That is… Mo Rabbit is genuinely cute!
Now that she knew her real identity, that peculiar sense of dissonance was gone.
It actually seemed quite nice.
Then the Announcer looked at Night Star and said, “Back to the point, please grant me a wish to turn me back to my original self.”
“Wish? What wish? I don’t even know what that is~”
Night Star averted her gaze and feigned ignorance.
The Announcer raised her head slightly, a dark line forming on her forehead.
“Huh?”
The Singer kept smiling.
“Isn’t this great~”
