“Goo goo goo, the theater group leader is calling me back to the theater for dinner, can you let me go?”
After being pinned down by Ice Lixie, Night Star knew she was stuck.
After the last incident, she knew that this white-haired girl wouldn’t give her any more chances to escape.

Going to the Night Watcher Base would only trap her further, exposing more secrets and putting Yun Chang City at risk. So no way was she going there.

At this, Ice Lixie let go of Night Star.

Night Star immediately ran to the wall, poised for a quick escape.
Seeing this, Ice Lixie smiled sweetly.
“Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. Since you love to read, stay here in peace. I won’t bother you.”

Night Star was confused.

Ice Lixie continued, “This time, I’m just visiting a friend as a regular citizen. I’ll leave soon, no need to worry. I won’t tell others where you are. Okay? Pretty friendly, right?”

Sure, every city has its quirky Night Watchers. Yun Chang City’s signature Mo Tu and now Ice Lixie—both seem weird.

Ice Lixie turned and left as if Night Star didn’t matter.
With the pillar of the Rising Sun Theater Group right there, she could easily bring Night Star back. Yet, she let her go.

Ice Lixie said she came to visit a friend.
And the only person here is the librarian.

After a while, Night Star curiously asked, “Um, Miss Librarian, are you a Night Watcher?”

The librarian eyed her and changed the subject. “What’s your name?”
“Goo… You can call me Audience Performer.”
