### Chapter 272: Two Adorable Hunkies
Xia Yu and Jiang Kekai followed the driver’s advice and, once they got out of the car, strolled down the street to experience the local atmosphere.
Of course, their adorable appearances naturally caught the attention of many passersby. People admired Xia Yu and Jiang Kekai for their cuteness, but were mostly curious as to why they weren’t in school.
Suddenly, Jiang Kekai seemed to remember something and pulled Xia Yu towards a nearby convenience store: “Boss, can I get some masks?”
“But little sister Xiaoyu, why do we need masks?” Xia Yu asked naively.
Jiang Kekai glanced at the boss, who had already turned around to fetch the masks, and then gently patted Xia Yu’s head, explaining, “To avoid unnecessary troubles.”
Troubles? Xia Yu suddenly recalled that her little sister was someone very capable and even appeared on TV. Could it be that they were being mobbed by fans demanding autographs? Little sister Xiao Ning must be trying to avoid these people, Xia Yu surmised.
In reality, Jiang Kekai was indeed famous, and she did have fans—but her fans were well-behaved and wouldn’t interfere with her everyday life. It was because the leader of her fan club was from the Jiang family and thus managed them properly. Jiang Kekai wasn’t afraid of her fans; she was more concerned about other things.
After getting the masks, Jiang Kekai took interest in some blue denim bucket hats on a nearby stand, asking the boss to pack them too. The boss happily obliged, not wanting to miss out on business.
Before Xia Yu could continue her inquisitive mode, Jiang Kekai put a hat on Xia Yu’s head, saying, “There you go, no need to ask so many questions. Just follow your big sister.”
Xia Yu looked into the mirror and thought she looked quite handsome. Little sister Xiao Ning really knew what she was doing.
Not letting Xia Yu stay mesmerized for long, Jiang Kekai dragged her away: “Alright, wasn’t your stomach still hungry before? Let’s get something to eat.” Soon, Jiang Kekai brought Xia Yu to a cozy-looking shop where there weren’t too many people.
It worked out well for them because they missed both breakfast and lunch, making the place less crowded. Had they come later, they might not have found a seat.
“Boss, one order of pan-fried buns, two orders of xiaolongbao,” Jiang Kekai ordered confidently.
After placing the order, she led Xia Yu to a clean table. While Xia Yu kept looking around curiously, the food arrived soon.
Then, her attention was drawn to two handsome guys dressed in trendy outfits. They noticed Xia Yu staring and caught her eyes through the glass window, making an awkward eye contact for a few seconds.
Embarrassed, Xia Yu turned her gaze away first. She felt silly for being caught staring. However, the two guys decided to push through the glass door and sit right next to their table.
One guy, Xue Wenbo, sat close and boldly examined Xia Yu before smiling and holding out his hand, “Hi, I’m Xue Wenbo, do you want to be friends?”
“No interest.”
Jiang Kekai, who had been on her phone, couldn’t ignore this. Seeing her girl friend almost hit on, she glared at the boys, which immediately intimidated them. Her cold stare was not to be trifled with.
Coincidentally, another guy, Ouyang Feng, enjoyed assertive girls despite his fear. He bravely introduced himself, “I’m Ouyang Feng from the Ouyang family, does the beautiful lady really not want to be friends?”
“Of course, Ouyang Feng and Xue Wenbo, you two are always up to no good. Don’t think skipping school will protect you from your father’s wrath.”
Jiang Kekai casually removed her mask, realizing she needed to show her identity to solve the situation. Xia Yu watched in curiosity. So, it turned out her Xiao Ning sister knew these handsome guys. They were rich and stylish, just like her.
Now, they were caught in an awkward situation. They intended to h*rass the cute girl but encountered a formidable opponent instead.
“We just wanted to make friends, that’s all. And didn’t she look at us first? Jiang Young Lady, can’t you let this slide?”
“Are you saying I don’t have money?”
Her glare remained fierce. If not for her, Xia Yu would’ve fallen prey to these spoiled kids. “What do you want then?”
Xue Wenbo almost cried. Ever since Jiang Kekai visited him last time, he had been haunted by her. He feared her telling his parents this would result in severe consequences and a reduction in his pocket money.
In Demon City, most prominent families admired Jiang Kekai, not out of obligation but because they saw her potential.
“Simple enough,” Jiang Kekai smiled warmly yet threateningly. “You know those people, just take a photo of her, tell them she belongs to me, and warn them not to interfere. Otherwise, they challenge me.”
“Is that it?”
Ouyang Feng was surprised. Could it be because Xia Yu was there that she was trying to be nice? He agreed readily, sending the photos to his friends.

“Stop it, you’re the real lapdog. I ran into this when I went out with Wenbo, it ended badly.”
“Jiang Young Lady really came to our Demon City? My father said so, but I didn’t believe it. This is quick.”
“Yeah, my father wants me to visit. But how could we ever match Jiang Young Lady?”
“Agreed.”
“Wait, I heard she has a girlfriend already. Is that true?”

“Don’t drag me into this nonsense.”
