Chapter 235: Little Ling is Sad
As soon as Xia Ling stepped through the door, her gaze was immediately drawn to the little baby snuggled in Xia Yu’s arms. Without a second thought, she rushed over to sit beside Xia Yu and enthusiastically stretched out her hands, “Baby, how about you let your sister hold you for a bit?”
The little baby merely glanced at Xia Ling and then gleefully wrapped her arms around Xia Yu’s head, clearly showing that Xia Ling wasn’t getting any love today.
This was how it always was—back then and now. Xia Ling felt a bit stifled. Did the baby really not like her? After all, she looked quite similar to Xia Yu. Xia Ling returned with two adorable girls just as the relatives were eagerly trying to figure out their identities while simultaneously reaching for their pockets… they were quite accustomed to showering children with money.
Eventually, they learned from Xia Hong that the girls were simply friends of Xia Yu and Xia Ling.
