### Chapter 356: Sister Little Ning Pounces!
Xia Yu’s guess wasn’t off; she was only messing around for a while before being caught by Jiang Kekai, who grabbed her by the back of the neck: “Huh? Didn’t you say I’m not useful? You’ll see what’s happening tonight!”
Jiang Kekai pinched Xia Yu’s cheeks playfully and squeezed herself between Xia Yu and Xia Ling, breaking them apart. If she hadn’t, Xia Yu might have become even more mischievous.
To Xia Ling, this was all hopeless. In her opinion, Xia Yu really is too naive, not knowing enough to run from the Big Bad Guy Jiang Kekai. She just keeps circling around her. Now look at her getting caught!
Seeing Xia Yu’s pleading eyes, Xia Ling could only shrug helplessly. She couldn’t fight off the Big Bad Guy anyway. Xia Yu was then dragged by Jiang Kekai back to the car, returning to Peng City.
Almost as predicted by Grandma Jiang Kekai, Xia Hong and Wang Wenjuan found all the girls gone upon returning home. Xia Le, too, didn’t know where they went. They were quite anxious.
Thankfully, they had everyone’s contact numbers. After calling and confirming their whereabouts, the adults finally relaxed a bit—indeed, they’d been too worried.
Half an hour later, the girls arrived safely at their home in Peng City.
Master Chen had just finished dinner, having been informed by Jiang Kekai beforehand. Xia Yu wouldn’t need to learn cooking today; she’d just returned from the hospital earlier, severely dehydrated and weak.
This meant tonight’s dinner was unusually lavish. It was mostly due to Jiang Kekai wanting to nourish Xia Yu. Her love shows in action.
Xia Yu felt like something was odd about Sister Little Ning after returning from the hospital—she thought maybe she ought to have imitated Hanhang’s cheeky remarks instead. Despite Xia Yu’s curiosity about what Sister Little Ning had up her sleeve, she still ate everything Jiang Kekai served, appreciating the care but also feeling uneasy.
Finally, unable to bare the strange sensation any longer, Xia Yu wolfed down her food, stood politely, and said, “I’m done eating. Take your time.” With that, Xia Yu ran off like a startled rabbit to her room and shut the door.
This made Xia Hong pause his chopsticks, looking at Jiang Kekai with curiosity: “Xiao Yu, what’s going on with her?” “Nothing much, maybe she just ate too much?”
Still, everyone could see Jiang Kekai was unusually cheerful, though both Xiao Yu and Xiao Ning seemed out of sorts. After saying she was finished, Jiang Kekai too left, returning to her room to check on Xiao Yu again.
Turning on the lamp, Jiang Kekai didn’t immediately see her Little Cutey. But seeing the bulging duvet on the bed… she wasn’t foolish. “Xiao Yu, Sister’s here~”
With a smug mouth, Jiang Kekai pounced on the small lump, unsurprisingly finding the cute, silly Xia Yu underneath. “What did you do, Sister?”
“Teasing you!”
Jiang Kekai leaned close, pressing her forehead against Xia Yu’s. There was no hiding her intentions. It’s payback—Xiao Yu acted recklessly today. She must leave a lasting impression.
But not now, since bedtime was far off. Jiang Kekai gently bumped Xia Yu’s little forehead before rising from princess bed: “Alright, Xiao Yu, play on your own. Sister needs to work some more.”
Xiao Yu replied sarcastically, “Again with the work? Aren’t you tired?”
“Ah, so you’ve started worrying about me? Yet earlier, you said I was useless.”
Jiang Kekai chuckled, ruffling Xia Yu’s hair again as she resumed her computer work.
The Ouyangs were planning to return to China. Conveniently, she would use their connections to bolster her influence. Otherwise, her second uncle’s lingering power overseas remained a threat.
Indeed, one must remain vigilant.
Her second uncle openly displayed his ambitions within the family, and she now knew he was the one who poisoned Xia Yu. That same second uncle.
Thinking of these things, Jiang Kekai felt furious—all this over money? Even if every coin were collected into her pocket, what difference would it make?
Scrolled online, Jiang Kekai noticed an email—the sender read ‘Ouyang Yongrui’.
Well played. The world-class powerhouse actually sent her an email herself. It was an invitation.
The message was clear. Tomorrow in the imperial capital, there would be a gathering where he’d like to invite her. Probably valuing her potential. This counts as networking, especially since Ouyang Yongrui personally emailed to invite her. She couldn’t reasonably deny.
But… Jiang Kekai quickly replied:
[Can I bring friends?]
[Of course.]
With this reassurance, Jiang Kekai felt much more relieved. If she couldn’t bring anyone, she’d need to seriously consider choosing between her future and Xia Yu. However, her heart always leans towards Xia Yu.
Xia Yu, clueless about what happened, continued scrolling through her phone on bed like usual. Time passed, and now it was close to 10:30 PM.
Jiang Kekai closed her laptop, turned on the night light, and finally extinguished the bedroom light: “Hmm? Is Sister going to sleep already?”
Seeing Jiang Kekai approaching, Xia Yu promptly moved inward, switching off her phone to avoid trouble. Climbing onto the bed, Jiang Kekai did not lie down like usual to cuddle Xia Yu.
This time, Jiang Kekai lay atop Xia Yu, whispered in her ear: “Remember what I said this afternoon?”
Xia Yu thought it was just a jest. Now she wondered what would happen next.
Feeling embarrassed, Xia Yu did not respond; Jiang Kekai was great at teasing her. When Jiang Kekai reached around Xia Yu, feeling her skin tense with anxiety, Xia Yu pleaded, “S-Sis, I get it! Can we stop this, please?”
“Nope.”
Jokingly, she took Xia Yu’s hands away, not wanting them to interfere. Fortunately, the night light provided enough to see Xia Yu’s red face; she never expected a terrifying night ahead.
Before Xia Yu could ponder, Jiang Kekai leaned in, pressing her body and lips against Xia Yu’s.
Wide-eyed, Xia Yu experienced her first intimate moment—she had previously only seen such scenes on TV and did not fully understand them.
Shattering Xia Yu’s inhibitions, Jiang Kekai quickly broke through. It was something she’d wished to do, worrying Xia Yu may dislike it.
But now, she had to leave a strong impression. Xia Yu not fighting back pleased her but indicated acceptance. Jiang Kekai couldn’t let this opportunity slip.
After the initial shock, excitement, and stimulation, exhaustion set in along with acid reflux in Xia Yu’s mouth. Initially thinking it would be a brief tease, Xia Yu was taken aback by the intensity.
As Xia Yu tried resisting, she could barely push away Jiang Kekai. Resigned, she sighed hopelessly.
Jiang Kekai eventually grew bored but felt satisfied. “Xiao Yu, did you enjoy yourself?”
Xia Yu: “….”
How could she answer? Instead, she hid under the blanket.
Jiang Kekai licked her lips, enjoying herself despite Xia Yu’s discomfort. Unfortunately, they were not married, lacking the audacity for anything further.
Indeed, although she often joked, Jiang Kekai had never dared act on it. The reason was Xiao Yu’s timid nature which kept her restrained.
“Alright, Xiao Yu. Let’s go to sleep now.”
Inappropriately, Jiang Kekai pulled back Xia Yu’s blanket, wrapping her arms around the silly girl. Without being held, she’d probably struggle to sleep. And what could Xia Yu do? Unable to fight, she conceded, even if… she didn’t entirely mind.
