### Chapter 2 The Big Fiasco
Seeing all the troupe members emerge, Night Star happily stretched out her hands as if she were showing some magnificent artifact.
“Look! These are the first generation of the Rising Sun Theater Group – the Makeup Artist. I think everyone should get acquainted with her!”
Except for the Group Leader, everyone else joined later and knew little about the first generation.
Introducing them properly didn’t seem to be such an issue.
Then, the troupers’ gaze converged on the Makeup Artist, each with varying degrees of scrutiny.
The Makeup Artist’s neck drew back under the gazes, her personality turning soft almost instantly. She seemed like a completely different person compared to before, making Night Star feel as though Night Sakura Mirror herself was present.
In fact, that wasn’t far from the truth. The Makeup Artist was indeed Night Sakura Mirror, also known as [Mirror Image]. In some situations, these two could split. One would be softer, while the other would remain tough.
In front of Night Star, the Makeup Artist didn’t have to worry about anything at all. But these troupe members seemed quite intimidating under Star Eclipse’s pressure, making her instinctively wary. So the Makeup Artist didn’t dare look directly at them.
At least until she became more familiar with them, the Makeup Artist wouldn’t easily adjust.
“Greetings…”
The Makeup Artist’s greeting made the other troupe members nod in acknowledgment.
Then the Group Leader spoke up: “Let’s all get along well from now on. This is the theater group’s Makeup Artist, who will handle makeup for stage performances. That’s enough to know.”
The theater quieted down again, the male members leaving, leaving only the female ones behind.
Night Star understood; the majority within the theater were Star Eclipses, and the atmosphere wasn’t suitable for celebration. Celebrations would make them sound less like a troupe.
The welcome ceremony for the Makeup Artist was simple, even if she had been part of the troupe for a while.
Then, the Announcer teleported beside the Makeup Artist, as if sizing her up.
“You… this state seems confined to the theater; like a tethered spirit, you can only stay inside.”
The Announcer sensed this fully, for she built the theater herself.
Night Star was somewhat surprised.
“Why is that?”
A quick divination by the Announcer quickly revealed the reason.
“Because your existence has merged completely with the portrait backstage. It’s already absurd for someone like Star Eclipses, to wake up again after d*ath. Even if you managed to awaken by chance with my help, there are strict restrictions—binding yourself to the painting is the biggest price.”
“Huh?!”
This hadn’t occurred to Night Star.
She had thought she could bring the Makeup Artist gradually into this era, witness its brilliance, and even experience it firsthand.
Who knew the Makeup Artist would be unable to leave the theater?
“Hmm… If we take that painting out, would the Makeup Artist be able to go out?”
“There might be a way, why not give it a shot sometime?”
“Alright.”
Night Star still felt sorry due to the inconvenience.
The Makeup Artist beside her said, “No problem, really, staying here isn’t bad. I’m not a performer anyway, just someone doing the backstage work. As long as I do your makeup before you perform, I can do my job.”
Hearing that, Night Star had no choice but to accept the reality.
Perhaps she wanted too much.
With the power from the Wish Machine, Night Star should be grateful for the Makeup Artist’s revival. Yet worrying about deficiencies only increases greed. Better to be content when one needs to be.
The Announcer didn’t plan to get involved anymore.
This wasn’t much of a fun thing; she was looking forward to Night Star Lan causing a stir in the capital, which would be interesting!
When that happens, she’ll definitely step in, becoming part of the entertainment and making things more fun!
Unfortunately… The interesting moments seemed far off, and even the progress of the little loli was uncertain. The Announcer considered taking a hand.
However, revealing everything could bring unexpected trouble. She didn’t want to suffer more weird wishes.
Realizing this, the Announcer prepared to leave.
But then Night Star stopped her.
“Mo Rabbit! I have another favor to ask!”
“Uh…”
The Announcer stumbled and collapsed, then smiled falsely at Night Star.
“Audience Performer… anything else?”
“Could you bring me a bed? I don’t need to sleep on the floor anymore!”
“You consider the theater your home already? Truly surprising you manage to fall asleep in such an eerie place…”
The Announcer’s cheeks twitched in disbelief at Night Star’s adaptability.
Night Star scratched her head awkwardly.
“It’s just what I’ve gotten used to. As long as you’re used to something, it becomes nothing.”
The Announcer sighed lightly.
“Fine with me, a bed isn’t necessary. I’ll add a couple rooms instead.”
Immediately, her power unfolded, altering the theater’s environment according to her thoughts. Soon, a few rooms appeared.
Finished, the Announcer turned to Night Star.
“Audience Performer, when will the cries of despair I’m hoping for arrive?”
“Huh? What’s that?”
“Never mind, just something big might happen in the capital soon. Be careful.”
“Ah!? You’re saying it so suddenly!?”
Before Night Star could inquire further, the Announcer vanished.
That unpredictable fellow! Always leaving sentences unfinished, driving her crazy.
What exactly is this huge affair?
Night Star’s expression was deeply troubled.
Beside her, the Makeup Artist watched the Announcer vanish, slightly curious.
“Our troupe’s Announcer is actually quite cute? Though her personality is a bit odd.”
“Hmm… Though she looks like a loli in the theater, outside she’s actually a grown man.”
“Wait? A guy?!”
The Makeup Artist was shocked, clearly shaken.
Around this same time, Kong Yu Bai and the others approached.
“The Audience Performer is right, that person is actually quite handsome, just got cursed for pissing our performers off somehow.”
“I see. Poor Announcer.”
Night Star muttered, “She’s actually enjoying herself. Such a strange person.”
Hearing this, the Makeup Artist guessed the Announcer was pretty eccentric.
