Chapter 16: A Stroll Attempt
“By the way, what’s your Extraordinary Star called, Qi Xing-senpai?”
Night Lan opened the conversation, curious about the unfamiliar star.
Even though she possessed the unprecedented Extraordinary Star, Night Lan was eager to expand her knowledge to satisfy her curiosity.
After all, the diversity of stars was quite an interesting matter!
“My star? It’s called The End of Time. To describe its effect in a few simple words, it’s time rewind, I suppose.”

If a star had anything to do with space or time, it was usually something impressive.

“Really? Thanks for the compliment! Hearing you say that makes me feel quite strong.”
“You’re undoubtedly strong! Who knows, you might eventually develop real time reversal powers! By then, you’ll definitely become an unbeatable Sunlight Night Watcher!”
“Well, let’s hope your words hold true.”
Then Qi Xing let out a gentle sigh.
“But right now, in the Star Eclipses Dream, I can’t really be of any help. I guess I’ll just have to wait for a stronger Night Watcher to bring some good news.”

Qi Xing smiled gently at Night Lan.
This made Night Lan feel a bit sheepish.

Night Lan let out a gentle sigh, said her goodbyes to Qi Xing, and left with the now-silent Night Feather.
Once outside the cafeteria, Night Lan looked curiously at her sidekick Night Feather.
“By the way… why was Lord Night Feather silent just now? Are you not used to talking with strangers?”
“Wrong assumptions! Don’t you think my silence exudes a certain charm? It’s more fitting for someone of my stature—trivial chats can be left to the subordinates.”

“Is it that Night Feather doesn’t act all dramatic around strangers? Or perhaps tones it down? But why were you so smooth-talking when we first met? This feels suspicious.”

After leaving this dramatic line, Night Feather spun around and ran off.
She looked like a comic villain fleeing the scene.
Watching her retreating figure, Night Lan pondered and shook her head.

Night Lan began walking outside when a sudden thought struck her: she wanted to wander around the capital a bit.
After all, she’d be in the capital for a while, so why not explore a bit?
But going alone felt slightly daunting; it’s always better to have someone tag along.

She looked around, nodding thoughtfully.
