“I don’t want to go.”

Summer Yu started serving the freshly made century egg and lean meat porridge. Everyone served themselves, and she made just enough for four people—no wasting food!
Maybe it was the excitement, or maybe it was revenge, but Jiang Hanhang went all out, slurping down the porridge like there was no tomorrow, leaving Summer Yu, Xia Ling, and Jiang Kekai only one bowl for themselves!

After gathering their things and making sure nothing was left behind, the girls headed out like they did every day, setting out together.
Arriving at school and back in class, they found the usual sight: Gao Xiaotian was once again lost to the world of games. “Hey hey hey~”
Summer Yu tapped the floor with her foot a few times. She wasn’t sure if Gao Xiaotian was ignoring her on purpose or just didn’t see her. Either way, he was blocking her path… Eventually, she got tired of trying to get his attention and just stood behind him, watching him play and hoping he would lose.
And then… Gao Xiaotian really lost.
Taking the chance, Summer Yu reminded the gaming addict, “Alright, you big buffoon, clear the way! I can’t even get through!”
“Oh, it’s Little Yu! Why didn’t you guys come yesterday? I thought you were taking a long break till summer vacation!” Summer Yu: “……A bit overthinking it, aren’t you?”
“What snacks did you bring today? Let’s share with the good bros!”
Just once, and Gao Xiaotian was already scheming! Summer Yu felt a bit awkward about it. She hadn’t brought any snacks today; she was just… scared.

Suddenly, Gao Xiaotian got a playful glint in his eye and excitedly continued, “Our school is organizing a spring outing! How about you team up with me? Bring more snacks, and I’ll give you a game console—an MP5 worth 899! Not the cheap five-dollar kind!”
Summer Yu: “…..I’m not interested in game consoles.”
“What do you like then?”
Gao Xiaotian thought Summer Yu was a bit odd. Shouldn’t guys be super into game consoles? Some girls even enjoy gaming! But why was Summer Yu not reacting at all?
“Um…”
Summer Yu pondered. Since Sister Little Ning came into her life, her desires seemed to have diminished. She had snacks, clothes, and everything else she needed.
After a long deliberation, Summer Yu finally came up with a proposal: “I can sneak you some snacks, but you gotta help me with cleaning duty three times. What do you say?”

Cleaning duties were organized by seating arrangements, four people a day, and Summer Yu and Gao Xiaotian sat at the back of the class.
Three days of cleaning duty meant Summer Yu could slack off for a while! “Yes, that’s the deal.”
She had considered other conditions, but seeing Gao Xiaotian’s eager look, she didn’t want to push it too far. Three days of cleaning duty should suffice, giving her desk buddy a break.
“Deal!”
Only having to do Summer Yu’s cleaning three times was a steal for Gao Xiaotian. He didn’t hesitate a bit. “And for the spring outing, remember to bring a ton of snacks!”

Class time arrived, but the classroom was still buzzing with conversations. Even the discipline committee and class monitor standing up to quiet the class didn’t help. Everyone was too busy talking about the spring outing.
Not long after, their homeroom teacher, He Gongxing, entered. Today was his first class, and seeing everyone not taking out their books and still rambling away, he wasn’t pleased.
