The four adults thought it over and realized Xia Ling had a point. Sure, it might seem a little unconventional for a boy to dress like this, but let’s be honest—Xia Yu looked good! If they didn’t know better, they might have been fooled into thinking she was a girl.
“Alright, alright, you’re one sharp-tongued little girl! Do whatever you want. I can’t be bothered to keep up with this,” Grandma muttered, getting up to ladle herself some more congee.
Seeing that even their mother was no longer bothered, Xia Hong and Wang Wenjuan had nothing left to say. Honestly, watching Xia Yu and Xia Ling all dressed up so adorably was quite a sight—after all, cute looks for the win!
