Chapter 392: Girls Are Off-Limits Too
Jiang Hanhang: “…..”
Since Xia Ling didn’t want to let go, there was no problem with that. She kind of enjoyed it anyway—apart from not being able to move. Plus…now she could watch Xia Yu getting picked on. It was totally worth it.
It wasn’t until Li Jia and Gao Yao got tired of their fun that they finally let Xia Yu go and allowed her to move.
After all, jokes should have limits. They didn’t want Xia Yu to start harboring any grudges over something so trivial. That wouldn’t be worth it. Once Xia Yu rested up a bit, Li Jia enthusiastically invited, “Little Yu, how about we all sleep together tonight?”
Just moments ago, they were bullying her, and now they were inviting her like this. Xia Yu wasn’t about to fall for it. She grabbed her blanket and kept a wary eye on them: “What sort of mischief do you have in mind now?”
“Nothing! I just want to sleep together.”
Li Jia smiled, trying to show genuine friendliness, but Xia Yu didn’t believe her for a second. “I’ll believe it when pigs fly. You must be out of your mind.”
“Come on, let’s sleep together. It’s warmer when everyone’s in one bed.”
“No way.”
Xia Yu turned her nose up and stubbornly looked away. She wouldn’t let down her guard until she was sure this wasn’t a trap.
Just then, Huang Qiao came out of the shower with wet hair, still clad in her nightgown: “Who’s next for a wash? Get it over with earlier and get some rest. Staying up late isn’t good for your skin.”
“I’ll go next.”
Gao Yao jumped at the chance and rushed off to the bathroom with her change of clothes, not wasting any time.
Huang Qiao stood between Xia Yu’s bed and Jiang Hanhang’s bed, looking at Jiang Hanhang and Xia Ling. “So, are you picking the middle bed?”
“No, we want the one inside,” Xia Ling suddenly released Jiang Hanhang, freeing her from the hug. Jiang Hanhang immediately hopped onto Xia Yu’s bed and pinned her down again.
Of course, as soon as Jiang Hanhang was free, her first move was to jump onto Xia Yu’s bed and pin her down. “Haha, see how powerful I am?”
Xia Yu: “……”
It’s as if Jiang Hanhang hadn’t grown a day older. Xia Yu got tired of playing around and hit Jiang Hanhang in the face with a pillow: “Stop messing around. If we keep this up, none of us will get any sleep.”
“Oh.”
Jiang Hanhang seemed worn out as well, and since she had already turned the tables, she carelessly got off Xia Yu and lay down beside her, sighing, “Why didn’t I realize how easy you are to bully before? I would’ve taken advantage sooner.”
Xia Yu: “….”
Once Gao Yao finished her bath, Li Jia took her turn. After all the girls were done, Huang Qiao got back to organizing and said, “We will switch off the lights in ten minutes. Everyone, get whatever you need done right now. You can play with your phones after the lights are off, but keep it silent. Any objections?”
“No objections.”
Including Xia Yu, nobody had any objections.
Even though the class monitor was a bit bossy, the girls understood—they were just looking out for their health. It’d be bad if the lights stayed on all night and made them feel terrible tomorrow.
With everything settled, Huang Qiao returned her attention to Xia Yu, smiling and beckoning, “Time to sleep, Little Yu. You’re going to sleep with me, so hurry up!”
Xia Yu: “….”
At that moment, she was still playing card games with Jiang Hanhang and Xia Ling. The class monitor’s words also made her think of Little Ning, which only added to her confusion.
As Xia Yu pondered this, a roaring helicopter sound and wind suddenly erupted outside the balcony. What on earth was happening?
While the six girls exchanged glances and debated going to check it out, exclamations echoed from outside, “Wow, is that a helicopter?”
“Indeed, it’s a helicopter. I’ve never seen such a big one before, probably worth a few billion!” “No idea. Poverty limits imagination.”
“What’s the helicopter doing here?”
…
As everyone rushed out to the balcony or went downstairs to see what was going on, Jiang Hanhang spotted something instantly. This wasn’t one of her family’s helicopters. Why was it here? Could this mean her sister arrived?
She wasn’t far off. In the next moment, Jiang Kekai emerged from the helicopter, sunglasses on, looking as cool as ever. Jiang Hanhang couldn’t help but ask, “Didn’t you say you weren’t coming?”
But since her sister came, she had to come out to meet her too. She grabbed Xia Yu and Xia Ling, ready to greet her. But… Xia Yu couldn’t be moved.
“Why aren’t you helping? Your sister came, and you’re not going to meet her?”
“We look like this. Is this appropriate? ” Xia Yu chuckled.
They were all wearing nightgowns. Putting aside the issue of modesty, Xia Yu was more concerned about the trouble this might cause. Li Jia and Gao Yao had already recognized her and the others wouldn’t be any different. Xia Yu chickened out.
Realizing this, Jiang Hanhang also thought that going out in nightgowns right now wasn’t the best idea. However, they hadn’t brought anything heavier, so returning to change clothes seemed unnecessary.
In that case… best to wait for their own sister to come.
With this, Jiang Hanhang loosened Xia Yu’s and Xia Ling’s hands and decided to leave them be while she went to meet the sister herself.
Jiang Kekai clearly knew where Xia Yu and her sister were staying and wasted no time making a beeline for them. Soon, the girls in the room heard knocking on the door.
Without hesitation, Jiang Hanhang opened the door, knowing who it was. As expected, there stood Jiang Kekai, alone.
Jiang Kekai didn’t waste a moment, giving Xia Yu a hug as soon as she entered. “Surprised, Little Yu?”
Xia Yu: “…Yeah, I’m definitely surprised.”
After recovering her composure, Xia Yu couldn’t help but ask, “Little Ning, you said you weren’t coming. So why are you here now? And why the sudden drop-in?” “Not sudden. I’m here because I don’t want you sleeping with anyone else. Got it?”
Placing a mischievous grin, Jiang Kekai added, “Especially not another girl.”
Xia Yu: “….”
