### Chapter 7: Bedtime
A moment later…
The three little lolis, all bundled up in their pajamas, made a grand entrance from the bathroom.
The blush on Bai Yu’s cheeks hadn’t faded one bit.
Bathing together with Ye Xing and Ye Lan was a completely new experience.
Sure, she had shared a bath with her sister Bai Tu once, but nothing compared to this level of shyness and satisfaction.
Talk about becoming addicted!
While Bai Yu was lost in thought, Ye Xing Lan smiled and said, “Need me to help you dry your hair?”
“Um, please!”
But instead of pulling out a hair dryer or some sort of technological gadget like Bai Yu expected, Ye Xing Lan simply murmured a few words.
“Requesting to dry Bai Yu’s hair…”
Before Bai Yu could even register what was happening, she felt the wetness on her head vanish.
“What is…?”
Ye Xing raised a finger to her lips and winked playfully.
“Shhh~ Just a little trick from the Extraordinary Star~”
Ye Xing Lan had discovered something useful.
The Wish Machine could easily fulfill simple wishes, like daily chores, without any hassle or dragging her through some bizarre timeline.
At this point, the Wish Machine was indeed living up to its title of Extraordinary Star.
Even though Ye Xing Lan didn’t use the powers of the Star to wish for anything weird, she definitely found a use for drying hair.
Why bother doing it herself? Well, the answer is simply… laziness.
Asking a little loli who wants to slack off why she doesn’t want to work is just a waste of breath.
“Eh heh heh~ Let’s not worry about that now! It’s quite late, let’s hit the hay!”
“Okay!”
After a bath, sleeping felt oh-so-good.
It was eleven o’clock at night.
Bai Yu usually went to bed earlier, so she was starting to feel a bit sleepy.
With Ye Lan’s encouragement, Bai Yu obediently climbed onto the bed and snuggled in the middle.
Meanwhile, Ye Xing and Ye Lan took their spots on either side of her, clearly plotting to sandwich Bai Yu.
Then, Ghost Girl Eypar joined the fray, seemingly wanting in on the action.
In response, Ye Lan shot her a glance and said, “If you want to sleep too, I don’t mind you possessing me, but just don’t do anything weird with my body—only sleep, got it?”
“Mhm~ Eypar is a good little ghost!”
Bai Yu focused her attention on Eypar, who had appeared in her line of sight, and couldn’t help but sigh softly.
“Eypar hasn’t changed at all, still up to her usual mischief with Ye Lan?”
During her time alone with Ye Lan, Bai Yu had heard plenty of complaints about Eypar, so she knew just how much this little ghost loved to prank.
“Hmph~ Those pranks are Eypar’s way of proving her love for Ye Lan~ It’s a unique ghostly expression!”
Eypar didn’t seem to feel any shame for her actions; instead, she wore her mischief like a badge of honor.
What’s more, Ye Xing Lan tolerated her antics as if indulging her one and only hobby.
That’s why Eypar sprinkled little pranks throughout Ye Xing Lan’s life, keeping it from feeling too dreary during her free time.
And then Eypar would pretend to mess up and get caught by Ye Xing Lan, eagerly awaiting her little “punishments.”
By the way, Ye Xing Lan’s punishments involved making her perform silly dances, during which she would sometimes reach out to touch her soft, plush thighs.
How can someone who’s always complained about her not being cute sometimes get handsy like that?
That’s beyond spicy!
But Eypar didn’t mind!
She loved the spicy side of Ye Xing Lan!
While Eypar pondered what pose to sleep in tonight, Ye Xing Lan casually switched off the room light.
The little room quickly fell into darkness.
Ye Xing Lan sniffed the sweet fragrance of Bai Yu beside her, clearly from the body wash used in the bathroom.
The scent was similar to her usual, but with a different vibe, making her feel all giddy inside.
Indeed, each loli feels different when they cuddle up!
Having finally gathered the courage to invite Bai Yu to cuddle, Ye Xing Lan was determined to enjoy every bit of it!
She never wanted to return to a life in the capital without her loli friends to snuggle!
“Mmm~ Ye Lan, don’t touch me there! It tickles.”
“Oops, sorry! I mistook you for Ye Xing!”
“Do you always touch your other self like this?”
“Well, my other self is super cute, after all, hee hee~”
That’s practically a narcissistic statement from Ye Lan.
But it’s also the truth.
Bai Yu thought both lolis were incredibly adorable, and to befriend such cute girls felt like divine intervention by little angels.
Now, with the three lolis snuggled up, feeling each other’s warmth made Bai Yu feel a little drunk in happiness.
No wonder Ye Xing Lan loved to cuddle so much.
This feeling was really amazing.
“Goodnight~”
“Mhm, goodnight~”
Tonight was exceptionally quiet, perfect for sleeping.
…
The next morning.
Bai Yu woke up and immediately felt her body “trapped.”
Turning her head, she discovered what was happening.
Ye Lan was hugging her upper body, while Ye Xing was wrapped around her lower half, both deep in slumber.
Bai Yu poked Ye Lan’s soft, doughy cheek, which felt like jelly.
“Your sleeping posture is really terrible.”
But she didn’t actually mind this side of Ye Lan.
Just then, Ye Lan, gently prodded by Bai Yu, slowly opened her eyes, finally recognizing who was teasing her.
“Bai Yu~ Let’s sleep a little longer~”
“No more sleeping in! It’s around 9 AM! Time to get up and freshen up for the Night Watcher Base. Zero Meow and the others must be waiting for us; we can’t leave them hanging!”
“Mmm, okay.”
With Bai Yu’s gentle words, Ye Lan finally crawled out of bed.
Ye Xing also opened her eyes, pushing Eypar out of her space.
The ghost girl, all fluffy like cotton, rolled around in the air a few times before stabilizing herself, her goofy hair still swaying lazily.
“Is it morning? Today is another beautiful day!”
Ignoring the silly ghost, Ye Xing Lan got out of bed and headed to the washstand to freshen up. Once she got herself nice and tidy, she returned to the room to change into her clothes for the day.
When Ye Xing Lan came back, Bai Yu had already gotten dressed.
Bai Yu was wearing something that looked suspiciously like a gift from Kong Yu Bai to Ye Xing.
Bai Yu looked adorable and delectable in it. It made Ye Xing Lan want to nibble on her softly!
She had to fight the overwhelming urge to rush over for some cuddles.
“Bai Yu, why don’t you go wash up too? I prepared a new set of toiletries for you!”
“Thanks!”
Soon enough, Bai Yu finished washing up.
Eypar was swaying her hair and waved at them.
“Be careful on the way! Eypar will stay home and hang out with Ye Xing, no worries~”
“Clumsy ghost, I’m going to sneak into the theater without you later,” Ye Xing muttered.
Eypar overheard her.
“Eh?! How rude!”
