Chapter 436: Massage?
“Alright, alright, can’t I just walk by myself?”
Seeing that she was being carried out of the classroom by the two girls, Xia Yu gave up the struggle. Honestly, if she was dragged to the restroom, that would be downright humiliating.
Xia Ling and Jiang Hanhang exchanged victorious glances before releasing Xia Yu, allowing her to walk on her own. Based on their previous chats, they figured Xia Yu probably wouldn’t dare to run away this time.
Sure enough, once they set her free, although Xia Yu remained visibly reluctant, she didn’t make a break for it. It was clear she had accepted her fate.
After all this time as a girl, why was she still struggling to accept the life of a girl? Xia Ling and Jiang Hanhang found it odd that Xia Yu resisted going into the girls’ restroom, but they didn’t say anything and just continued to help her quietly.
And so, a cheerful day passed by.
As the weather grew increasingly stifling, Xia Yu, Xia Ling, and Jiang Hanhang’s elementary school years were coming to an end.
This school had a junior high department, and when the principal found out that Jiang Hanhang, Jiang Kekai, Xia Ling, and Xia Yu—four impressive girls—were transferring, he tried desperately to keep them, but his efforts were in vain.
Of course, for Jiang Kekai, money wasn’t an issue. The main reason she wanted to go to the capital was to show Xia Yu the world and to spend some quality time with her. So, the principal’s offers didn’t tempt Jiang Kekai one bit, and the four girls were always following Sister Little Ning in everything.
Thus, Xia Yu’s elementary school life came to an end.
On the first day of vacation, Xia Yu snuggled up to Jiang Kekai, blissfully sleeping in her embrace until noon. Jiang Kekai, being the doting sister she was, would rather work on her tablet without waking Xia Yu up.
Until Jiang Hanhang and Xia Ling popped in.
With Jiang Hanhang’s energetic antics, Jiang Kekai finally granted Jiang Hanhang the privilege to enter her room whenever she wanted. So from then on, Jiang Hanhang and Xia Ling began frequently visiting, which drove Xia Yu nearly bonkers.
For instance, right now, they were still wearing their nightgowns. Upon entering the room, Jiang Hanhang bounced straight onto the bed, waking Xia Yu from her beauty sleep.
Xia Yu: “…”
Turning her head, the first thing she saw was a grinning Jiang Hanhang. Xia Yu was utterly drained. Didn’t they say girls were supposed to be quieter? Why didn’t she see any of that in this girl? And Xia Ling was definitely being affected by her!
Seeing Xia Yu being roused awake, Jiang Kekai decided to stop being nice. She got out of bed, stretched lazily, and said, “I’m going to work now; just don’t bother me, alright?”
Jiang Kekai was used to this kind of behavior, so she set her boundaries firmly—don’t mess with her work, and let them play however they liked. Not long after, Xia Ling decided to join the fray, and siding with Jiang Hanhang, they pinned Xia Yu down completely.
“Is it fun?”
With barely open eyes, Xia Yu looked at the two nearby troublemakers, perplexed. Why did they enjoy bullying her so much? How could they maintain that energy for so long? Didn’t they get tired?
“Super fun!”
Jiang Hanhang answered gleefully, then, like a domineering CEO, she pointed her finger under Xia Yu’s chin, saying, “Hey, give me a smile.”
Xia Yu: “…”
What Xia Yu didn’t know was that Jiang Hanhang had been cooped up in the villa for way too long and was just bursting for some fun. Now that she had a partner in crime, she was fully taking advantage of it! Plus, Xia Yu had become overly accommodating, which made Jiang Hanhang bolder. As for Xia Ling… well, she was her girlfriend, so they were all going to have some fun together. Jiang Kekai had seen all this before and was unfazed, merely reminding the three girls from time to time, “Don’t fall off the bed!”
It wasn’t until the two girls were completely exhausted that Xia Yu was finally spared. She still couldn’t understand why Jiang Hanhang loved to play so much. Did she have a hyperactivity disorder or something? “Little Yu, give me a massage.”
Jiang Hanhang lazily flopped on the bed, making her request known. She knew Xia Yu had some skills in that area and didn’t want to waste them. She really loved that invigorated feeling after a good massage.
After being bullied for so long, now she wanted Xia Yu to help her out? How could it be that easy? “No way.”
Now it was Xia Yu’s turn to be stubborn. She rolled over, turning her back to Jiang Hanhang, the shameless little cutie. Did she think Xia Yu had some magical skin? And what about Sister Little Ning? She had just let her get bullied for ages without stepping in! Xia Yu felt a little hurt.
“Come on, please!”
Jiang Hanhang had genuinely taken Xia Yu as a close friend. After all, she would soon be her sister-in-law, so she wouldn’t treat Xia Yu like a stranger. Suddenly, she jumped onto Xia Yu’s waist. “How about I massage you first? My back hurts from all that playtime!”
Xia Yu: “…Then go get Xia Ling to do it!”
“She’s too strong; she’s not suitable for massages.”
“It’s not that she’s strong; it’s that she doesn’t want to put in that much effort.”
As soon as Xia Yu finished her sentence, she felt Xia Ling come crashing onto her like a ton of bricks. “Hanhang, let’s help her out first, then she can help us!”
“Okay!”
Seeing Xia Ling’s mischievous grin, Jiang Hanhang instantly understood her intention, and she was all for it.
Next thing they knew, both Jiang Hanhang and Xia Ling had their little hands on Xia Yu’s back. Three seconds later, Xia Yu’s wails rang throughout the room… Jiang Kekai cast a calm glance their way and went right back to her work.
In truth, Xia Yu used to be quite lonely, but now that she had so many playmates, she felt happy. Besides, these people were friends she could trust; she wasn’t worried about Xia Yu being unfaithful.
Knock knock knock—
All the girls: “??? ”
Jiang Kekai looked over at the trio, and they immediately snapped to attention, sitting up straight on the bed and fixing their nightgowns. Once they were tidy, Jiang Kekai walked over to open the door.
“What are you girls playing in there? I heard sounds from outside just now.”
It was their housekeeper, Wang Wenjuan! The three girls let out a collective sigh of relief; they were all worried about who it might be, but since Wang Wenjuan knew about Xia Yu’s situation, there was no need to panic. “I was just giving my younger sister a massage, it’s nothing, Mom. You keep doing your thing.”
Mom was on break today; otherwise, no matter how they played, she wouldn’t have known! This time, they had let their guard down a bit, but thankfully it all turned out okay.
