### Chapter 29: I Can Hold Out
Night Star planned to head back to the theater to cool off before heading back to Yun Chang City to snuggle with Night Lan and soothe her spooked soul.

After Night Star turned around to return to the theater, the rest of the troupe followed suit.
Since it wasn’t performance time, there was no need to stay outside any longer.
As Night Star returned to the dim theater, a sense of safety quickly washed over her, bringing calmness to her soul.
But just as she walked in, she turned her head ready to walk back out again.
It’s still best to go back to the Fish Playing House in Yun Chang City and prepare mentally there.
She knew very little about the Free Country and even less about Waltonka. Perhaps she could gather some information at the Fish Playing House and then explore foreign cities with Kong Yu Bai and company.
Maybe she shouldn’t be so timid.
Night Star didn’t believe that the Stars organization in the Free Country was more powerful than the Night Watchers. If they couldn’t touch the Rising Sun Theater Group, the Free Country wouldn’t dare either!

With this thought, Night Star’s steps became much more confident, and she re-entered the tunnel of the theater group’s exit.
However, when she thought about the Fish Playing House, she found herself back where she started.

Night Star re-entered the Rising Sun Theater, even muttering “Fish Playing House” aloud, but ended up back on the roof of Waltonka.

Her face went blank, and she froze for a moment.
“This can’t be right!”
Night Star seemed to guess something and repeatedly tried teleporting via the Theater Door.
From the Fish Playing House, Ling Miao Rest Area, nearby Qi Yuan City Library… she tried every place she had previously teleported to, but no matter what, her destination was always some rooftop in Waltonka.

After numerous failed attempts, Night Star finally gave up.
“d*mn it! How could this be!?”
Crying out almost tearfully, Night Star ran back to the theater and soon found Mo Rabbit, who created the theater.
Seeing Mo Rabbit, Night Star immediately lunged forward and hugged her waist.
“Mo Rabbit! I can’t get back to Yun Chang City! What’s happening?!”
Hearing Night Star’s heartbroken wailing, Mo Rabbit fell silent, seemingly channeling some mysterious abilities to find an answer.
“The reason is distance. The original theater is too far away. Or rather, the last marked location is too distant, so we can’t connect. You can only appear in Waltonka now, and you can’t connect with locations in Huaxia unless you use official channels like flying on an airplane.”

After hearing the cause, Night Star retreated to a corner and sulked.
To transfer the theater again would mean a month of waiting, during which she couldn’t go back to Yun Chang City. Without Night Lan, Night Star felt lost.

While Kong Yu Bai and others comforted Night Star, Mo Rabbit left the theater and headed to that rooftop.
“Waltonka seems like an interesting city.”
Unlike Night Star, Mo Rabbit remained calm. She pulled out her Night Watcher equipment to contact someone.
Fortunately for the Night Watchers, equipment signals from abroad work fine.
Soon, the call connected.
Xiao Jin’s voice echoed through the device.
“What’s up?”
“Uh… There’s a slight snag. I might be unable to come to the base for a while.”
Xiao Jin fell silent for a moment, surprised to hear a delicate girl’s voice from Mo Tu’s number, almost losing composure.
“Are you… the Announcer now?”

Mo Rabbit hung up, feeling unchanged inside.
For Night Star, being unable to meet Night Lan felt like hell, but Mo Rabbit didn’t share her distress.
She had finally arrived in the Free Country, after all. Naturally, she wanted to explore its joys.
Rumors say there’s a massive Stars organization here, no less powerful than the Night Watchers. That’s quite exciting.
Looks like the fun will continue.
One wonders how long it will take for that Loli to bounce back.
The blow of not returning to Yun Chang City seemed significant to her.
“Just get used to it,” she reassured herself.

Night Star stepped out of the Rising Sun Theater onto the roof of Waltonka, her expression resolute.
“So what if I can’t snuggle with Night Lan for nearly a month? I can hold it!”
