Chapter 472

**Chapter 59: The Richest? There’s Always Someone Richer!**

After Lulu Lana whisked Night Star away from the library, they headed straight to a sleek flying car—presumably her family’s ride.

Just as Night Star thought Lulu Lana would drive them home, a man dressed in black strolled over to open the back door.

“Night Star, get in!”

“Ah… sure.”

Night Star clambered into the car.

Lulu Lana plopped down beside her, her excitement radiating like a star in a sky full of dullness.

Unable to contain her curiosity, Night Star whispered, “Who is that guy?”

“He’s Uncle Butler! He drives and protects me—super strong!”

“Got it.”

Night Star nodded thoughtfully.

Lulu Lana looked anything but ordinary; she was clearly the daughter of a well-off family. No wonder her folks let her roam around alone in this sketchy part of town.

With someone to look after her, it made total sense.

Night Star sensed that Uncle Butler was a Star Holder; his aura was as robust as a double espresso, definitely stronger than many regular Night Watchers. No wonder he was Lulu Lana’s bodyguard!

This only confirmed Night Star’s hunch: Lulu Lana’s family was likely tangled up in the underworld, and the poor girl had no clue—completely kept in the dark by her family!

Thinking about it, she was just a kid; no way they’d drop such a heavy reality on her just yet. They were probably waiting for the perfect moment to break it to her.

Meanwhile, Uncle Butler hopped into the driver’s seat and activated the flying car, sending them toward an undisclosed location.

He didn’t even bat an eye at Night Star, as if he had zero worries about her being a threat to Lulu Lana.

Does he think she’s weak or something?

Yeah… pretty likely.

Despite currently being only one-third existence interference, she could still cloak her Star aura if she really tried. Unless the person had formidable mental prowess, they wouldn’t notice anything off about her.

But if a top-notch villain showed up, her weak mental power would definitely blow her cover.

If that happened, she’d have to call for backup from the theater crew.

Even though she had a fair amount of power, a C-level mental ability still couldn’t cut it.

Wait! She still had Little Lian attached to her—no need to call anyone!

A flick from Little Lian could wipe out the whole situation!

Back to reality.

The ride continued.

Night Star and Lulu Lana sat in silence as they waited for the car to arrive at their destination.

The main reason for their silence? Uncle Butler. With his serious demeanor, there were tons of topics that just weren’t safe to talk about.

Take Lulu Lana, for instance.

She was dying to ask Night Star about that historical tidbit!

But with Butler around, she’d have to s*ck it up—poor girl was practically bursting from curiosity.

Night Star, too, had questions galore, but she’d just have to hold her horses until it was just the two of them.

After a while, the car finally pulled up to Lulu Lana’s place.

“We’re here! Time to hop out, Night Star!”

“Okay.”

They both stepped out, their feet hitting solid ground.

“Look! That’s my house!” Lulu Lana pointed, and Night Star followed her finger, spotting a mega mansion.

The mansion sat surrounded by a spacious yard, decked out with luscious greenery like something straight out of a fairy tale.

At that moment, Night Star knew with certainty: Lulu Lana was definitely a rich Loli!

No wonder she radiated that “noble lady” vibe, even if it was wrapped in a playful, carefree package.

Not that Night Star minded it at all.

“Let’s go in! The book is in my bedroom—follow me!”

“Sure!”

With wide-eyed curiosity, Night Star trailed behind Lulu Lana, soaking in all the sights.

This was her first jaunt through a lavish manor.

All along the way, she spotted several robots prancing around, trimming the incredibly well-groomed plants. There were even automatic vacuum bots making sure the sprawling estate stayed spick-and-span—no leaf left behind!

The only humans around seemed to be Butler and a few maids.

Of course, you could never have too many maids.

Sometimes, no matter how good robots are, they can’t compare to a little human interaction.

When Lulu Lana was home alone, a lovely maid was the best choice to keep her company.

Eventually, Night Star and Lulu Lana made their way up the long driveway to the mansion door.

“Uh… Lulu Lana, do you always have to walk this far when you come home?”

“Not at all! When I come back, I just have the butler drive straight to the door. No need for this lengthy trek.”

“Then why this time…?”

“Because I wanted Night Star to see my house! You’ve never seen a manor this big, right?”

Lulu Lana meant no harm.

If people were guessing, they’d think she was just trying to show off her digs to feel superior.

But Lulu Lana didn’t mean it that way; she simply wanted to share her home with Night Star and satiate her curiosity.

In a way, she was pretty considerate.

Night Star knew Lulu Lana wasn’t flaunting, but if someone else were around to witness the grandeur, you could bet they’d be green with envy.

But who was Night Star, anyway?

She was a well-rounded little Loli!

Her own Rising Sun Theater was just as breathtaking and didn’t fall short in grandeur—it just had a slightly quirky atmosphere.

There was no way she would feel envious of someone else’s home.

Not with her cozy Fish Playing House and fabulous Rising Sun Theater—she was beyond satisfied with her current living situation.

“Enough chit-chat; let’s get to the book! I can’t wait any longer!”

“Right! Let’s go!”

Lulu Lana yanked Night Star inside the mansion, greeted promptly by a bevy of beautiful maids.

“Welcome back, Miss!”

“Need any help?”

“Did you bring a guest with you?”

“Is it a visitor? Should we prepare some snacks and tea?”

Lulu Lana quickly shook her head, instructing, “I’m bringing my friend into my room to play. No entry allowed without my permission, and if my mom comes back, make sure to let me know secretly, okay?”

“Yes, Miss!”

With that, Lulu Lana whisked Night Star straight to her room—she was practically bouncing with anticipation.

Night Star let herself be pulled along, her head swiveling as she took in the extravagant decor—everything was so dazzling!

Lulu Lana’s home was next-level wealthy!

Just last time, Night Star had seen Lianhua’s villa, but this place was on a whole new level. It was obviously not even in the same league.

Rich Lolis? Forget about being the richest; there’s always someone richer!

Compared to Lulu Lana, Night Star’s current funds were a drop in the ocean.

But no worries—she had plenty of rich ladies backing her! Who needed to worry about working hard?

With those thoughts, Night Star followed Lulu Lana into the room, and the door clicked shut behind them.
