### Chapter 93: Dealing with the Impolite
Once the audience finished their mass exodus, it seemed only the brave Star Holders were left behind.
He Li Xia, the Night Hunt, couldn’t help but ask her partner beside her, “Should we make a run for it? Those guys look like they’re about ready to blow a gasket. We’ve totally broken some taboo here!”
Many others in the know shared similar thoughts. In their minds, the Rising Sun Theater Group was like a rule-obsessed horror story—never to be trifled with. As long as you didn’t cross any lines, things would remain peachy. But cross a taboo, and the theater group might just revert to its primordial form, morphing into terrifying monsters ready to trample on everyone’s life!
Just the thought of that made most people freeze up. They were worried that even a tiny twitch might catch the attention of the Star Eclipses and make them the first casualties.
For now, they weren’t eager to jump to conclusions about this organization.
On stage, Night Star glanced at the silent Group Leader next to him. “Group Leader… so many audience members have fled…”
“It’s neither their fault nor ours,” the Group Leader replied calmly, unbothered by the mass exodus of spectators.
The Gentleman chimed in, “It’s those rude folks scaring off the audience by causing chaos—that’s a classic move, really.”
The Fraudster rubbed his mask and his tone turned sinister. “Shall we teach them a lesson?”
With viewers gone and the performance halted, some members were clearly displeased. Mo Rabbit chuckled lightly and stepped to the center of the stage.
“Dear beloved audience, if you’re still interested in an exhilarating show, please hang tight for just a moment. This performance won’t be interrupted for long; we’ll resolve this matter as quickly as possible—just for your viewing pleasure!”
The Announcer’s words reached everyone present, assuring them of one key fact: the chaos caused by others obviously wouldn’t affect them. It seemed the Rising Sun Theater Group was quite fair about who to blame.
A collective sigh of relief escaped many, feeling as if they’d dodged a b*llet.
But how would they deal with the troublemakers who scared off the crowd? Now that was genuinely intriguing—curious about how the Rising Sun Theater Group would tackle this situation.
“Wait a minute, it seems like we’re missing some people on stage.”
As everyone snapped back from their thoughts, they realized three figures were absent.
Upon confirmation, the Group Leader, Gentleman, and Fraudster had mysteriously vanished.
The Order of Sequence noticed this as well. “Looks like the Demon King’s Star Eclipses have acted! Let’s go check it out!”
Some braver Star Holders opted to follow along to see the show unravel.
Meanwhile, inside a building that had just gone Ka-Boom! a few individuals were hard at work, hauling out important devices one after another from a research institute, grinning like Cheshire Cats.
“Jackpot! If we sell these babies off, we’ll be rolling in money and living the good life forever!”
“Who knows why that collaborating organization canceled today’s operation and postponed it? Talk about unreliable!”
“Hahaha, good thing our boss got super strong! We can bust in here without anyone else’s help! Not even the Order of Sequence would dare!”
“That’s right! Our boss is unbeatable now! What pathetic security team could stop him? The Order of Sequence is a joke!”
Just as these members were basking in their own superiority, a powerful figure interrupted, impatiently urging them on. “Stop yammering and get to work! I’m not invincible! If you keep dragging your feet, I’ll wipe the floor with you!”
Upon hearing that, they scrambled, quickly loading the devices onto a monstrous flying vehicle.
Just as they prepared to take off, three mysterious figures slipped through the explosion-created opening into the building.
“Who goes there?”
The lead thug glanced at the intruders warily, his body tense and ready to spring. Three men in black stood at the entrance, blocking the escape route of their hovercraft.
The boss didn’t recognize these three at all. He had never seen them before. Why would he? He didn’t operate in this shadowy world, relying solely on his awakened powers to climb the ladder, dragging his minions along. He wasn’t familiar with any of the inner workings of this world.
He usually merely assessed whether the targets he targeted were worth the trouble.
If they were doable, he’d go for it; if not, onto the next target—it was a simple loop. He had initially planned to team up with another well-armed organization to raid this company’s valuables, but that organization had chickened out, saying they’d reschedule. Cowards!
Their withdrawal had shaken his confidence, and he was almost ready to call it quits.
But then one night, he met a mysterious individual who claimed they could get him anything he desired through a deal. He ended up trading twenty years of his life for an incredible power.
And now he was stuck—no taking backsies.
Fueled by this newfound strength, he planned to pull off one big score!
Once he hit the jackpot, he’d be rolling in riches and living the good life!
A delightful fantasy, until…
Three strangely unfamiliar figures stood in his way.
Dressed in tuxedos and top hats, they stepped forward, coldly addressing the criminals, devoid of any familiar smile.
“Your actions have disrupted our performance. Even if unintentional, it’s still rude—to disturb our audience’s focus is disrespectful, and forcing the performers on stage to halt is also quite impolite. I can hardly list all your discourtesy. Would you kindly… offer an apology here?”
As the last word exited their lips, the criminals felt an unbearable mental jab strike their minds, resembling a wicked soul being seared by a flaming brand—far beyond what any normal human could tolerate.
The lead thug clutched his head, gritting his teeth and glaring at the three in front of him, surprisingly less affected than the others.
He had grown strong long ago. With an increase in physical power came a boost in mental resilience.
Now, he was like a Sunlight Night Watcher or a Holy Knight in Huaxia.
But he could still withstand this level of psychic pain.
Without hesitation, he charged toward the three sudden interlopers, intent on taking them out swiftly.
The Fraudster chuckled softly, “Heh~”
The world around the lead thug suddenly shifted—no longer the remnants of the upper floor, but a hellish nightmare.
“Just an illusion!”
His formidable mental strength allowed him to quickly realize the discordance of the changing environment, breaking through the Fraudster’s interference in no time.
Charging ahead, he found himself face-to-face with the Group Leader.
“Too late for regrets now! You three are headed straight to hell!”
