During a casual chat with Lulu Lana, Night Star stumbled upon an outrageous fact.
She had traded with Hilo!?
And what did she get in return? Mental power?!
But as soon as Night Star learned that the cost was only Lulu Lana’s pocket money, she breathed a sigh of relief.
As long as it wasn’t something like a lifespan, everything was fine. That would’ve been a total loss!
According to Lulu, her mental power had skyrocketed, prompting her mother to drag her in for check-ups. Now, instead of having free time, she was stuck at the Research Institute, obediently undergoing assessments.
Well, that was for the best.
Night Star thought a newbie with sudden mental upgrades was still a dangerous thing.
If mishandled, it could lead to some seriously perilous situations.
Lulu Lana was completely clueless; she barely even understood the stars. So, a more cautious approach was definitely needed.

Night Star pushed aside her gloomy thoughts and continued chatting with Lulu Lana.
“Lulu Lana, the Rising Sun Theater Group’s third performance is about to start! Want to come check it out?”
“I’d love to, but I’m not sure if my mom will let me,” Lulu Lana said.
She had missed the second performance mainly because her mother had kept her from going, insisting she needed to master more knowledge about the stars first, you know, just in case things went haywire.
Lulu had sulked for days over it and only managed to cheer up thanks to Night Star’s comforting words.
“Why not try sweet-talking your mom a bit? Show off what you’ve learned recently; she might just let you go out,” Night Star suggested.
It was sort of like how parents only let kids out to play after they finish their homework.
Same idea, right?
Lulu thought that was a pretty good idea and decided to give it a shot.
“Okay, I’ll try! I’ll do my best to be there!”
“Go for it~”
And with that, Night Star logged off.
Now, she was just waiting for the weekend to roll around again.
That night, Night Star drifted into sleep, snuggling with Lianhua, her little loli companion, and sleeping soundly.
She had gotten used to sleeping with Lianhua lately.
Sleep just wasn’t as comfy without a loli to snuggle!

But tonight, Night Star wasn’t looking to summon the Dream Pursuer Yin for a cuddle; she wanted to find the Dream Narrator.
“Calling Dream Narrator! The universe’s most adorable Night Star has something to ask!”
As Night Star’s embarrassingly cheesy summon echoed, two figures quietly appeared—Dream Narrator and Dream Pursuer Yin.
“What can I help you with? Is Hilo causing you troubles?” the Dream Narrator speculated.
Night Star shook her head, trying to look serious. “Actually, I want to know about someone. Do you know the Uncrowned Wanderer?”
This was a name she had accidentally learned from Hilo, presumably one of those mysterious star eclipses.
“The Uncrowned Wanderer? Where did you hear that name?”
“Well, I saw him not long ago. Not only that, but I also ran into Hilo, but then the Uncrowned Wanderer took him away. No idea where.”
“Interesting, that’s quite a rare occurrence.”
The Dream Narrator pondered, clearly caught off guard.
“Let me tell you about the Uncrowned Wanderer. He, like Hilo and me, was once a human who followed the Origin of the Stars, but later turned into a star eclipse.”
“Mhm, as I expected.”
Night Star didn’t expect to bump into two first-generation supernovas so soon. Talk about unexpected surprises!
Was that the draw of her Wish Machine?

At this rate, she might not be too far from meeting the Origin of the Stars.
She just wanted to lead a normal life!
The Dream Narrator didn’t pry into Night Star’s thoughts but continued divulging information about the Uncrowned Wanderer.

“I once wandered into his territory and met him, so I know. That place, I believe, is called Gaul; you should be familiar with it.”
“Another foreign land…?”
Night Star knew of Gaul, and it had some famous memes associated with it.

But it was a country that had nothing to do with her; she’d never been there.
The Dream Narrator suddenly sighed.
“I never thought the Uncrowned Wanderer would actively seek out Hilo and take him away. Who knows what he’s up to? I guess I’ll have to check out Gaul soon; they might have some astonishing discoveries.”
“Mhm… just feels like it’s something bad…” Night Star mumbled.
That’s what her instincts were telling her.
But the Dream Narrator was a supernova star eclipse, so it should be fine.
