### Chapter 7: Going on Vacation
“Just come back after you see her, that’s it.”
“Oh, I see~”
Night Star Lan wasn’t too concerned about what happened afterward—after all, curiosity might just get a cat in trouble!
“So, what are you planning to do next?”
“Naturally, I’ll continue wandering, swimming through endless dreams and observing the truth of humanity. It’s that simple.”
Night Star Lan found that pretty easy to understand.
Seems like this is just the Dream Narrator’s obsession—harmless enough, I suppose.
As long as she doesn’t interrupt her snuggling time with the cute little loli, all’s good.
If anyone dares to interrupt that cuddling session—even if it’s the Dream Narrator and they’re friends—Night Star Lan will give them a thorough lesson!
Well, let the Group Leader handle it.
“Well~ do whatever you want. I need to get up anyway.”
“Of course, if you ever need me, just call me in the dreams. No matter when, I’ll come to answer your questions.”
It’s mainly because Night Star Lan had already achieved his wish and hadn’t provided enough payment.
That’s all.
Even if the Dream Narrator is an Eclipse Star, basic honesty must be upheld.
Especially when the other party is someone not to mess with.
“Well~ do what you wish.”
Night Star Lan shrugged it off and motioned for the Dream Pursuer Yin to blow the wake-up horn.
Dream Pursuer Yin obediently nodded and started playing the flute.
Woo————
And just like that, Night Star Lan’s dream shattered.
The two lolis woke up in reality, stretching like little kittens—so cute and endearing that anyone would want to rush over and give their little heads a good pat!
“Ugh~”
“Mmm~”
The two little lolis made different lazy sounds, their enchanting voices tugging at one’s heartstrings, cuteness at an overdose level.
Meanwhile, a certain Ghost Girl, ready to pull a prank, immediately abandoned her mischievous intentions upon witnessing the adorableness, instead, shamelessly pouncing on them, embracing the two little lolis for some snuggle time.
“Ooh~ So cute~ So cute~ Using this ‘sneaky’ tactic to make Eypar abandon her prank obsession is just so unfair~”
Every morning, only Eypar gets to enjoy this free snuggling time with Night Star Lan.
This is also the time when Night Star Lan seems the softest and cutest.
Like a little pet seeking to cuddle with its owner right after waking up.
Eypar felt extremely lucky for casually passing by Night Star Lan’s Fish Playing House—otherwise, she might have missed out on this blissful life.
Night Star and Night Lan gradually regained their morning energy and promptly shoved away the idiot Ghost who was all up in their space.
“Eypar, what time is it?”
“High noon, twelve o’clock!”
“Wow… I actually slept so late?”
Night Star Lan gasped in shock, completely surprised at her severe case of bed-itis today.
It felt like she hadn’t had such a lazy lie-in in ages.
Usually, she’d be up by ten at the latest, but twelve o’clock today? The price for fulfilling the Dream Narrator’s wish must indeed be steep.
Her body still felt a bit wobbly.
Sigh~
Regardless, life must go on.
Night Lan picked up her Night Watcher gear to check for messages and found that Zero Meow and her little loli crew had sent her quite a few.
“Ugh~ I wasted such a long time cuddling with White Fish and the others. I definitely can’t sleep in until noon again.”
Night Lan replied to messages from White Fish and the rest before heading to freshen up with Night Star.
Eypar’s silly hair bobbed as she followed Night Star Lan to the sink.
“Night Star~ Night Lan~ Can I explore the new city this time?”
Once Eypar heard that the Rising Sun Theater moved to some part of Huaxia, she knew new maps were getting unlocked!
As a ghost girl with an insatiable curiosity, how could Eypar pass up the chance to explore?
“Sure, when Night Star goes into the theater, you just tag along. Just don’t cause any trouble in the new city, and you’re good to go.”
“Yay! Eypar loves you the most~”
The delighted Ghost Girl started dancing around in mid-air, looking ridiculously amusing.
Night Star Lan swished some mouthwash, gargled a few times, then “whoa-ed” as she spat it out—pretty much done with washing up.
Messy hair? No problem! They could help each other out, super efficient!
By the time Night Lan was ready to head out, it was half past twelve.
“Alright, I’m off! Eypar, if you want to play in the new city, just go with Night Star; she’s about to enter the theater anyway.”
“Mmm-hmm~ Take care~”
Eypar waved goodbye to Night Lan’s back, though in reality, she was still lounging around at home.
Night Star settled on her bed and slipped into soft, pure white stockings, then slid on her shoes—ready to head out.
“Let’s go, Eypar.”
“Coming~”
The Theater Door swung open.
Night Star and Eypar vanished from the Fish Playing House.
In the blink of an eye.
Night Lan took the Star Chariot straight to the Night Watcher Base, heading straight to Zero Meow’s room.
She didn’t use the Theater Door to get in but relied on the door access Zero Meow had given her.
With a “ding,” the door opened.
“Good afternoon, everyone~”
Night Lan glanced around and saw that White Fish and the other little lolis were all there.
Besides them, she spotted another unexpected guest.
White Paint was also present.
She was sitting next to White Fish, giving off some serious sisterly vibes.
“White Paint, what are you doing here?”
“Of course, I have something to say.”
White Paint wore a gentle smile, much softer than her usual demeanor around others.
Around these cute little angels, she seemed to show off this beautiful smile.
Night Lan looked at White Paint, eagerly waiting for what she was about to say.
What could it be?
“Yesterday, White Fish told me she wanted to go to Pinghaishi to play, and I’ve already mentioned it to my father.”
“What did Uncle Bai Yuan say?”
Night Lan’s expression brightened up, oh how she wished White Paint’s next words would be music to her ears.
White Paint’s gaze turned even softer.
“Of course, he agreed.”
“Yay!”
Night Lan immediately burst into joyous cheers, bouncing around the lounge like a lively little rabbit, utterly thrilled.
Zero Meow and the others looked far more laid back, as they seemed to have already known about this.
They could go to Pinghaishi for fun openly, without sneaking through the Theater Door.
What’s not to love?
Finally, no more sneaking around!
Night Lan now unilaterally declared White Yuan to be the best uncle ever!
But before Night Lan could bask in her joy for too long, White Paint switched up her tone.
“There’s just one condition.”
“What condition?” Night Lan quickly asked.
“That I also go along, to keep an eye on you all. You just need to behave, and that’s that.”
White Yuan had given White Paint leave, so she wouldn’t have to handle any tasks during this time and could join White Fish and the others for a proper vacation.
White Paint would be accompanying them as their guardian.
