### Chapter 26: Plans Part 1/5
Off the coast of the underwater city, a massive octopus monster appeared.
This didn’t cause much of a stir.
After all, the moment the Dusk Jellyfish first detected the sea monster, orders had already been sent out to the humans on the beach, telling them to scram.
Moreover, under strict management, no bad rumors would spread online.
News that might leak out could only be something like, “There was an anomalously polluted marine creature found in the nearby waters, but the relevant authorities have taken care of it and reopened the public beaches.”
The rest was just up to their imagination.
And the term “polluted” itself could bring up many images; you didn’t need to panic too much.
After all, in this age, technology has advanced significantly, so people’s ability to accept the inexplicable isn’t as weak as before.
Who knows? Maybe one day, the government will announce the existence of stars and star eclipses. Ordinary folks would likely accept it quickly and continue living their lives without much issue.
Star Eclipses aren’t easy for regular folk to observe anyway—ultimately, they’re part of a world beyond their reach.
As long as bad things don’t happen near you, who cares?
Just like murderers.
Even if someone’s dangerous and feared, as long as they stay far away, that’s fine.
Ignoring all of this:
The deep-sea monster had been defeated by the Sunlight Night Watcher. It should be safe now.
The Dusk Jellyfishes near Pinghai City will step up efforts to explore the depths to avoid any further incidents.
Up to now, most of the mutated ocean creatures have been eliminated.
Fortunately, those mutated sea creatures don’t have the ability to infect one another.
Otherwise, this sea would have become even worse.
Perhaps only with the involvement of the Star Eclipse Embodiment of Ecological Distortion might new mutated creatures emerge.
But the Night Watchers won’t let that happen.
As soon as the Star Eclipse Embodiment reappears, the Night Watchers will handle it as fast as possible.

Returning to Night Lan’s perspective:
They have returned to the Night Watcher base in the underwater city.
Night Lan flopped onto the bed, looking utterly exhausted.
“Wow, I’m so tired!”
The aftereffects of helping the Dream Narrator grant a wish haven’t gone away yet, and now using the power of 【Teleportation】, she felt truly worn out.
If she knew it would be so exhausting, she would have called in some members of the theater group to take care of everything.
Even though it might raise suspicion from the Night Watchers, she probably could handle it with Existence Interference somehow.
In any case, the group has plenty of strong members. Even if they can fight well, it’s not exactly their specialty.
She really needs to grow a spine.
If she were more daring, she could conquer the world!
Zero Meow was sitting on the bed next to Night Lan, petting her back gently with one tiny paw.
“Mmm… Who could’ve thought we’d encounter something like a giant octopus right when we got to Pinghai City? That thing was terrifying… Is that Pinghai City’s specialty? It’s scarier than a Star Eclipse…”
Even Zero Meow was startled by those tentacles reaching towards the sky.
Those weren’t tentacles from pervy books.
If touched by such a huge tentacle, it would definitely k*ll someone!
It’s really scary.
Zero Meow is now temporarily too scared to go to the beach.
She’s afraid of suddenly being dragged into the water by tentacles.
Few of the little Lolis weren’t quite shaken by it either.
Like Star Yoon and Neko Shinna—new recruits with no past experiences—these little Lolis were still innocent.
Being terrified by monsters is perfectly normal.
At the time, both Star Yoon and Neko Shinna clung to Night Lan, seemingly finding comfort only in her.
After all, Star Yoon had lost all curiosity about underwater fish, left only with fear.
She didn’t even feel like fishing anymore.
Neko Shinna was similar.
Maybe they’ll recover in a while.
White Fish looked better off compared to Star Yoon and Neko Shinna.
She had faced life and d*ath and was mentally mature enough for a Night Watcher.
When White Fish was frightened by the giant octopus, she recovered fairly quickly.
Later, she showed concern for her sister, White Paint, confirming her resilience.
“Why did that sea monster appear…”
Rarely getting to see the sea, yet being discouraged by such an incident. One can only imagine the frustration of those little Lolis.
Due to that super giant octopus, the Lolis now had a mild fear of the sea, making them hesitant to go near the beach.
So, the swimsuits they bought wouldn’t be used anytime soon.
“What a drag…”
Night Lan sighed, lying on the bed, with considerable resentment toward the unseen Star Eclipses.
She couldn’t tell if that guy had any ulterior motives or not.
Even if it’s just a matter of obsession to turn marine creatures into monstrous beings—it’s a bit excessive.
While Night Lan wanted to relax in Pinghai City, ensuring everyone could enjoy themselves at the seaside, she realized they needed to sort this out.
And since Pinghai’s Night Watchers haven’t managed to resolve it yet, she’d have to do it herself.
Ultimately, it comes down to enjoying fishing and spending time with friends that makes her work hard.
What an exhausting life, indeed!
Night Lan sighed again.
At that moment, White Paint walked into the room with Zero Meow.
“You two look okay, but not great.”
She meant Zero Meow and Night Lan’s state.
Her own sister seemed fine, although Star Yoon and Neko Shinna needed more rest.
Night Lan instantly perked up, looking up at White Paint.
“White Paint, how are you?”
“I’m fine, just a bit worn out. I’ll recover with some rest.”
White Paint smiled contentedly, glad they were calling her “Sister.”
“Glad to hear that,” Night Lan breathed out a sigh of relief.
Then White Paint continued:
“Actually, I still have one thing bothering me. The person who brought me back to the cruise had what seemed like a spatial ability.”
“Hmm…”
Night Lan wasn’t sure what to make of it.
“But I don’t know who saved me. I did ask the Night Watchers of Pinghai City, but they confirmed there are no Night Watchers with star powers like that here. So, who could it be?”
“Mmm~”
Night Lan averted her gaze, indicating something was off.
White Paint went over and tenderly stroked Night Lan’s head, guessing something.
“Did Ye Lān use that ability?”
White Paint was among the first to discover Night Lan had the Wish Machine Extraordinary Star.
How powerful those Extraordinary Stars are, White Paint felt firsthand.
She brought back the deceased Bai Yuan.
She even restored Bai Yu, who was confirmed dead.
So saving Night Lan from the deep-sea monster is entirely plausible.
If it wasn’t a spatial ability user, then only Night Lan could’ve done it.
Night Lan didn’t answer directly but gave a vague smile.
“Hehe~”
Admitting it wasn’t an issue.
Whether it was done using the Wish Machine or not was anyone’s guess.
Seeing this, White Paint realized she was correct.
Night Lan did save her back then, facing certain doom.
White Paint gave a gentle smile.
“Thank you, night lanan.”
