### Chapter 29: The Dusty Ability 4/5
When it comes to Star Eclipses, there are rankings even among peers.
For a mid-tier Star Eclipse like ours, if they enter a theater group and aren’t recognized as a member, they’re basically classified as lower-tier pawns.
At least that’s what the group leader and the others definitely think.
If an audience performer favors a Loli-shaped Star Eclipse, the group leader and his crew wouldn’t bat an eye. They’d even bend over backwards to make her happy.
And if she shows more evident desires? The group leader might just go hunting for the right kind of Star Eclipse and present it as a gift to their most valued audience performer.
Talk about extravagant pampering, right?
Let’s say Night Star is a prime example of a well-behaved Loli.
Otherwise, the Rising Sun Theater would be knee-deep in more chaos than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
“Putting aside your Loli-loving tendencies, I actually support the idea of you capturing that Star Eclipse to ‘educate’ it, just so you don’t end up doing something weird out of boredom,” Mo Rabbit said nonchalantly.
Night Star’s face turned into a collection of black lines.
“I’m not that kind of person! I’m actually pretty picky. How could I cuddle with every Loli? Instead of capturing that blue-haired Loli, I’d rather focus on dealing with the potential underwater crisis so I don’t get dragged under while playing by the beach!”
“Oh, that’s a bummer,” Mo Rabbit pouted, disappointed by Night Star’s seriousness.
After spending considerable time together, Mo Rabbit had a fair grasp of Night Star’s personality.
But she genuinely wanted Night Star to capture a certain Loli Star Eclipse. This way, Night Star could channel her attention elsewhere.
Mo Rabbit’s thoughts were truly simple.
She just wanted Night Star to shift her focus away from her, lest she face a relentless barrage of persecution.
If there was a Loli for Night Star to ‘educate,’ Mo Rabbit’s life would be a whole lot easier.
Too bad that plan wasn’t going to pan out.
“Ugh~”
Life’s tough, and Rabbit sighed.
“Alright, I’ll help you. Mid-tier Star Eclipses are pretty easy to find.”
Under Night Star’s hopeful gaze, Mo Rabbit began to divine.
Using her divination capability of the【He Tu Luo Shu】, a flood of information rushed into her mind, leading to a final outcome.
A location materialized in Mo Rabbit’s thoughts.
“Found it.”
Mo Rabbit stopped her divination and pulled out her smart device.
“Where? Is it far?”
Night Star leaned in, curious, peering at the screen that displayed a map of Pinghaishi.
Mo Rabbit manipulated the map, zooming in until she pinpointed a specific location in the coastal city, marking a coordinate.
“Here! You should go and see if you can feel it, you might find it quickly.”
Night Watchers might struggle to locate a hiding Star Eclipse.
But Night Star had the power of【Existence Interference】, making her perceptive abilities stronger than many Night Watchers.
“Got it~”
Night Star memorized the location swiftly.
“Okay, you’re off the hook, Mo Rabbit. Go do your thing.”
“Just use me and toss me aside, impressive,” Mo Rabbit muttered before vanishing from the theater.
Night Star paid no mind to Mo Rabbit’s grumbling.
After all, Rabbit was just a Loli tool—use as needed.
“Hmm… a coastal city, huh?”
Night Star hadn’t been to a coastal city herself, but Night Lan had.
Since Night Lan was there, she’d take care of it.
Shouldn’t be an issue.
Switching perspectives to Night Lan.
With bedtime still a while away, there was plenty of time for fun.
Night Lan shut her electronic screen and turned to Zero Meow beside her.
“Hey, Zero Meow, I’m stepping out for a bit.”
“Where to, meow?”
“I’m heading to the Rising Sun Theater.”
“Ah, um…”
Zero Meow, who originally had plans to tag along, suddenly developed cold feet.
In her mind, the Rising Sun Theater was a rather daunting place.
After all, it housed numerous powerful Star Eclipses.
No matter how friendly, there was always a tense vibe in the air.
“When will you be back, meow?”
“Um… soon-ish; I should be back for bed.”
“In that case, you go ahead, meow. I’ll just stay here and keep drawing my… uh, artistic illustrations~”
“Uh, if White Paint-senpai comes to do a check-up, can I count on you to cover for me?”
Night Lan didn’t call out Zero Meow’s cowardice.
Zero Meow patted her little pudding, wearing a self-assured expression as if to say ‘I got this.’
“Leave it to me! If White Paint sis shows up, I’ll tell her you’re out for a stroll at the Night Watcher Base.”
“Thanks a ton!”
With that, Night Lan opened the theater door and dove right in.
Once inside, she hurried over to a waiting Night Star.
The next thing you know, she was snuggling up to her like an affectionate little sister.
Once that was done, Night Lan stepped out of the theater, heading toward the coastal city.
Lianhua watched Night Lan leave, feeling a tad anxious.
“Is it really okay to go alone? Should I follow her?”
Night Star cuddled Lianhua, rubbing her soft hair.
“No need! Night Lan is quite capable of taking care of herself, so there’s no trouble. If anything dangerous happens, I can always summon you all!”
“Hmm…”
Ever since that incident when three Supernova Star Eclipses had teamed up to bully Night Star, Lianhua didn’t want to let either Night Star or Night Lan go off solo anymore.
Getting bullied was akin to an audience performer being bullied.
Absolutely unacceptable.
Night Lan seemed to read Lianhua’s thoughts. She pressed her cheek affectionately against Lianhua’s, rubbing their faces together gently.
“Rubbing, rubbing, rubbing~”
“Eh? Audience performer? Huh?!”
“Stop thinking too much~ Let’s just stick together, and everything will be fine~”
And so it went.
Lianhua’s attention was diverted by Night Star’s bold antics; she stopped ruminating over Night Lan’s situation.
Night Star’s affectionate assault was simply overwhelming—no one could resist!
Switching perspectives again.
Night Lan appeared at a certain spot in the coastal city.
The very place she visited today—near the beach.
Night Lan pulled out her smart device and glanced at the map, realizing that Mo Rabbit’s indicated location was somewhat distant.
She might need to drive over.
Wait a minute.
Drive? Heck no!
Time to make good use of the three main Initial Star Eclipse abilities.
Otherwise, having the Wish Princess snatched away just to collect dust in the “warehouse” would be a crime!
Sure, using them isn’t always a walk in the park, but it’s much more convenient than driving.
With that thought, Night Lan walked to a secluded spot and activated her internal 【Teleportation】 ability.
In a blink, Night Lan vanished.
When she checked her surroundings again, she realized she successfully moved.
Space powers are pretty nifty!
Even though they’re exhausting; she needs a breather.
This time, she had consecutively used two Initial Star Eclipse abilities: 【Teleportation】 and 【Probability Interference】.
The first was for long-distance travel, and the second influenced the destination of her teleportation.
Night Lan was only getting used to 【Teleportation】 and wasn’t quite adept, so there’s a chance she could end up in a bizarre spot.
While the latter could tweak the probability of her destination, just a slight nudge was enough for success.
Can’t deny, it’s quite handy.
Compared to those two, 【No Deceit】 felt like it was just sitting around gathering dust.
