# Chapter 8: Back to the Old Trade
Rising Sun Theater.
The once peaceful atmosphere suddenly erupted with an intense aura.
It was the aura of a near-meltdown Supernova!
This intense aura quickly drew the attention of everyone in the theater.
The Group Leader and others swiftly emerged, searching for the source of the chaotic energy.
Soon, they found not one, but two sources.
One was the Fraudster, and the other was the Gentleman!
“Fraudster! Gentleman!”
As the shadows receded, two figures collapsed to the ground.
The Group Leader rushed over to inspect their condition.
At that moment, they had completely lost consciousness, like they were trapped in some sort of excruciating state, their expressions twisted in agony.
Night Star appeared instantly, panic written all over her face.
“What happened?! What’s going on?!”
Since joining the Rising Sun Theater, she had always thought of it as the safest place.
The mysterious atmosphere of the theater had never harbored any dangers, as if it isolated all suffering, serving as a haven for its members.
However, today, something unusual happened within the theater!
It was utterly unexpected!
Looking at the situation, it seemed the disturbance itself originated from the Gentleman and the Fraudster.
What was going on?!
No matter what, every member of the theater was incredibly important to Night Star!
If anything went wrong, she wouldn’t hesitate to call upon the Stars to set things right.
Kong Yu Bai quietly approached, using Existence Interference to conceal the rampaging energy emanating from the two, restoring calm to the theater.
But that was far from enough; it didn’t address the root problem.
The Fraudster and the Gentleman seemed to be caught in some abnormal state, looking terribly pained, their energies chaotic and almost out of control.
But normally, if a Supernova were to go berserk, they shouldn’t lose consciousness—so why was this happening?
Mo Rabbit stepped forward with a serious expression, attempting a divination, but quickly failed.
“Involves a high-ranking existence, it’s above Supernova.”
Night Star made a wish without hesitation.
“Wishing Princess, restore the Gentleman and the Fraudster to normal.”
However, the Wishing Princess didn’t respond, indicating it wasn’t possible.
“Eh…?”
Just when Night Star felt lost and helpless, a petite figure descended from within her—that was the human form of the Wishing Princess.
“It’s related to the Ballad Conductor.”
“That guy again! Why can’t he just disappear already?!”
At last, Night Star began to piece things together.
Perhaps the transformation of the Fraudster and the Gentleman into Supernova was indeed the Ballad Conductor’s doing.
That j*rk loves to create tragedies—he may not have left a mark in history, but behind many tragedies, his shadow certainly lurks.
And the tragedy of the Fraudster and Gentleman might very well have been orchestrated by him!
Last time it was Star Sheng and Shiyu Qianyi.
This time, it was the Fraudster and the Gentleman.

Each affected individual is more important than the last!
If Night Star hadn’t maintained her bottom line, she might have unleashed a stronger force to take down the Ballad Conductor.
Just like the last time when facing the Uncrowned Wanderer and the three First Generation Star Eclipses.

And the Ballad Conductor, due to some unknown event, had raised his specifications, surpassing even Supernova, reaching a level that even the current Wishing Princess found challenging to intervene in.
This was undoubtedly a massive blow for Night Star!
Now even the omnipotent Wishing Princess couldn’t do anything?
“Wishing Princess… is it really impossible to intervene?”
“Yes, it is.”
“Wait, you said it is possible?”
Night Star’s eyes lit up with expectation as she looked at the Wishing Princess.
She said it was possible!
That meant there was a way!
“So, what should I wish for?”
“I will collect a price.”
“A price? Like the Puppet Master and Singer did?”
Night Star quickly understood what the Wishing Princess meant.
This indicated that this time there would be no simple wishes granted.
Previously, it was only Night Star or Night Lan wishing; no one else had made wishes.
Even when saving Star Sheng and Shiyu Qianyi, it was merely her own desire and no costs were extracted from them at all.
Thus, the Wishing Machine could not collect a price.
This time, however, a price was essential.

“Can be directly taken,” the Wishing Princess said coldly.
