### Chapter 21: Discussing the Performance Content
Mo Tu was lost in thought.
While the chances of the Hero Cemetery being occupied by the First Generation Star Eclipses were slim, they weren’t exactly zero either.
If that were the case, things would be a real pickle.
Looking at the First Generation Star Eclipses he’d recently encountered, they were definitely not the dainty tea party types.
Especially the Ballad Conductor.
That guy was even worse than Mo Tu, the joker!
If Night Star Lan could handle it herself, that would be manageable, but Mo Tu might struggle against overly troublesome Supernova Star Eclipses.
If a powerful enemy went easy at first, the weak could still win through cleverness.
But if the opposing team starts off with a full-on assault, the weak are destined to meet a flat push to the ground.
Supernova-grade Star Eclipses were not something that could be compared to Ultra Star Eclipses.
Even though the headquarters had enough heft to handle any Ultra Star Eclipses with ease, facing a Supernova-level pickle would be quite the headache.
Just look at the last time the Dream Narrator dropped by the capital.
His tricks rendered most of the headquarters’ resources useless, and in the end, they had to rely on Night Lan to sort it out.
If such a situation arises again, they would have to depend on the constrained causal law Star.
Unless headquarter had other powerful tricks up their sleeves that Mo Tu was completely oblivious to.
Tricks powerful enough to leave him scratching his head in mystification.
But judging by the situation, the Night Watcher organization could only muster that highly limited causal law Star.
And if Night Lan were included, she would be their ace card.
Of course, that sparsely present presence, Kong Yu Bai, counted too.
Despite being a member of the Night Watchers, she spent all her time loitering around the Rising Sun Theater Group.
Totally forgotten by the Night Watchers.
For her, the Night Watcher identity might simply be a convenient way to connect with Night Lan.
Mo Tu shook off those thoughts.
Whether the Hero Cemetery was occupied by the Supernova Star Eclipses or not, he had to confirm it first.
Cowering before battle was the ultimate taboo.
Mo Tu would fear no disaster.
Perhaps this would be a rare adventure.
Even if it truly spiraled out of control, he had a last resort.
If he didn’t return on time, some loli would come looking for him and drag him back to be her tool.
It’s not like Mo Tu was intentionally dragging her into trouble.
“Let’s hope I don’t end up in a situation where she swoops in to save me at the last moment.”
Mo Tu chuckled, somewhat self-deprecatingly.
The atmosphere in the lounge began to settle into a calm.
…
Inside the Rising Sun Theater.
Night Star was happily gazing at the photos taken during their beach outing today.
To commemorate that moment, she had specifically asked the makeup artist to capture some of the fun scenes.
Like theGentleman Fraudster and Bu Jie Cai Xun playing beach volleyball.
Every competitive moment had been perfectly captured.
There was even the Group Leader surrounded by a group of charming aunties.
It looked like they were there to cheer on the performance, but really, they were more interested in people-watching.
And of course, the heartwarming snapshots of Night Star, Night Lan, and a few little lolis having a splash in the water.
And that was just the tip of the iceberg.
All these photos held significant sentimental value.
Night Star figured she could stick them up on the wall backstage.
Right next to the portraits of the First Generation troupe members, it’d make for a great display.
“Mmm~ Perfect~”
Night Star beamed with satisfaction.
Today’s troupe-building activity was very enjoyable—she not only strengthened her bond with White Fish and the others but set off a massive buzz on the Night Watcher’s official site.
Everyone was talking about today’s events.
Though she felt a tad shy about so many people seeing her in a swimsuit, she held her ground.
All for the greater good!
After all, she wasn’t the only one in that situation.
There were plenty of others accompanying her.
Next, she would have to figure out a way to get all the Night Watchers to embrace the Rising Sun Theater Group.
Slowly but surely.
Night Lan had promised Kong Yu Bai a balanced approach.
Mhm.
More “casual” activities it is.
Taking things slow was absolutely fine.
Night Star refused to be bogged down by tedious matters.
Do what one wants, or not do whatever one doesn’t feel like—now, that’s the life!
Just then, Night Star looked up at the ceiling of the theater.
A ghost was floating around, looking exceptionally bored.
This Ghost Girl seemed to have grown tired of wandering around Pinghaishi.
Since the beach outing, she no longer roamed freely but had followed Night Star back to the theater.
Looks like she wouldn’t leave until she found somewhere new and exciting.
This didn’t bother Night Star at all.
Although Eypar liked to pull harmless little pranks on her, they were nothing but trivial.
Aside from being a bit annoying, there wasn’t really any negative impact.
In fact, the ghost’s dopey demeanor made her a perfect target for some good-natured teasing.
If she pulled a prank, Night Star could “teach” her a lesson—satisfying her inner desire to pick on someone.
Who said Eypar wasn’t a cute and lively little Ghost Girl?
However, one particular pigeon didn’t seem quite as enthusiastic about the whole ordeal.
Guqiu and Eypar were like the pure comedic duo.
Every now and then, they’d start squabbling in the quiet theater, shattering the tranquility to bits.
Even the atmosphere felt a tad more… cheerful.
Wait a minute.
There’s a lovely “Night Pearl” shining above the theater, casting light that banished any lingering dreariness, returning everything back to normal.
Still, you could hear Guqiu’s irritated “coo-coo” and Eypar’s teasing tongue-out noises—what a lively scene!
Sometimes, Night Star would just sit back and watch the show, observing how the ghost and the pigeon argued.
Other times, she’d take on the role of peacemaker, using her “Polite Devil” persona to intervene.
With a little etiquette, the Ghost Girl and the pigeon would pause their bickering, their heads aching from all the nonsense, and then they’d tumble down from the heavens.
The Gentleman’s skills in diffusing conflicts were nothing short of legendary.
Night Star had even tried using her “Polite Devil” as a makeshift warehouse earlier.
“Hmm~”
After Eypar and Guqiu finally settled down, Night Star began to ponder something else.
Today was Monday.
There were about four days left until the Grand Performance.
Since joining the Rising Sun Theater Group, Night Star had already gone through three Grand Performances.
The first was an opera, the second a stage play, and the third a choir.
So, what would this time’s performance be?
Night Star fell deep into contemplation.
She thought it might be better to gather everyone for a discussion.
A little while later, apart from the Announcer, all the theater group members gathered in the audience seats on stage.
Night Star was among them.
“Everyone, it’s time to consider the program for this Grand Performance.”
In the end, it seemed that only Night Star cared about this matter.
The other theater members seemed rather disinterested.
Did this make her feel more like the Group Leader than the actual Group Leader?!
The Group Leader is absolutely slacking off!
Always letting this little loli bring up the topic on her own.
Don’t hand critical tasks over to a loli who just wants to goof off!
Of course, Night Star didn’t voice any complaints; she just vented internally.
Kong Yu Bai smiled.
“What ideas does the Audience Performer have?”
“Isn’t that why I brought you all together? Did you think I was going to brainstorm this all by myself? That’s way too lazy of you,” Night Star said with a bit of lingering disappointment.
“No worries, whatever the Audience Performer wants to see, we’ll prepare accordingly. The Grand Performance is the same way; as long as it’s grand enough, it’s fine,” Lianhua chimed in.
The other theater members nodded in agreement.
This meant that Night Star could fully dictate the content of the Grand Performance.
