Chapter 12: Fantasy Time
“Mmm…”
Night Star Lan pondered, saying nothing.
Eypar continued floating around in the air, and it didn’t seem much different compared to three years ago.
Star Eclipses doesn’t grow up, and neither does the personality or soul decay with time.
That’s why there was no difference.
The only thing that changed might be what Night Star Lan did to her.
“Oh…”
Suddenly, Night Star Lan had an interesting idea that might solve her incomplete information issue.
“That… Eypar, I think I have amnesia.”
At this, the light and ethereal ghost girl froze mid-air, her body starting to sink slightly, and her face wore an expression of disbelief.
“You lost your memory?”
“Maybe?”
“Do you remember who Eypar is?”
“What kind of stupid question? It’s Eypar, of course! I didn’t lose all my memories, just the ones from the past three years… I have a memory gap since 2102.”
“This is serious!”
Eypar zoomed quickly in front of Night Star Lan, looking frantic, with her silly hair standing on end like a madman.
“So, what happened? Did you oversleep and got dumb? Waaah, I told you long ago that too much sleep could cause problems! Wake up early and go to bed early, that’s the normal schedule. My dearest person turned into a forgetful dunce because they overslept, waaah, now I’m doomed! But no worries, even if this happens, Eypar will never abandon you!”
Eypar clung to the two little lolis, crying so pathetically that it sounded tragic.
Night Star Lan pushed her away awkwardly, almost thinking about kicking her out.
“You’re an idiot? No one ever slept enough to forget everything. There must be another reason! You kept such a stupid melon ghost, I should crush and bake you a thousand times into a multi-layered pastry.”
“Hehe~”
Eypar stuck out her tiny tongue, transforming her face from sad to playful in an instant, as if she were a master of facial expressions.
This ghost still loved mischief.
It made Night Star Lan’s fists clench.
Eypar floated around the two lolis, leisurely at first.
“Are you not joking? Saying you have amnesia is no laughing matter.”
“I’m serious.”
“Hmm… do you remember what you said yesterday?”
“No.”
“Oh, I see. Well, let me jog your memory then. Yesterday, you promised to let me bathe with two of you today. You don’t remember that?”
“As a well-behaved loli, you shouldn’t break your promises.”
“Ugh… Lying is impolite. Don’t talk back to me.”
“Ouch!”
Eypar clutched her head and fell from the air, wailing pitifully with agony.
See?
This ghost really loved mischief, using lies for pranks.
There’s no point lying in front of a “politeness devil.”
Night Star Lan could recognize it soon enough.
I knew it.
How could she agree to bathe with this mischievous ghost? She would definitely get handsy.
“Hehe~”
The sharp pain from Star Eclipses quickly vanished for Eypar.
She looked indignant, as if lamenting Night Star Lan’s exposure of her lie.
“Dunce can’t take a joke… bathing with Eypar doesn’t make me lose any skin, we’ve done it before.”
“Huh? Really?”
“Of course! I managed it last time when I insisted!”
“What happened afterward?”
“Well, I couldn’t resist and started touching you, and you kicked me out of the bathroom in frustration.”
“Hehe…”
Night Star Lan made a decision.
If she returned to the proper timeline, there was no way she’d agree to this ghost girl bathing with her, no matter how much she pleaded.
No matter what, future actions wouldn’t affect the past, but future events known could create a new future in the past.
It feels somewhat like reincarnation.
“Anyhow, you better be quiet. I need rest. I might regain my memory soon.”
Night Star Lan wanted to get this future info as soon as possible.
The internet was the best choice.
“Uh… no need to inform the theater group yet, right?”
Though Eypar often tried to play pranks on Night Star Lan, she actually cared for her deep down.
“For now, I’ll check it out when daylight comes.”
Although Night Star Lan trusted the theater group members, she was too lazy to care.
Lazy enough to want to spend her entire life in bed.
This side effect from wishing was quite annoying.
Now, even though she didn’t want to, she had to slack off.
“Okay, I can run errands for you. Anything you need, I can help with. Eypar isn’t just a mascot ghost anymore.”
Eypar floated beside Night Star Lan, bowing her head softly under the stunned gaze of the two lolis, and gave them soft cheek kisses.
The ghost girl smiled contentedly.
“Hey hey~ This is something we’ve been doing for a while. Goodnight kisses before sleep, no lies here.”
With that, Eypar happily drifted away.
Night Star Lan touched her face, which was touched by Eypar, her cheeks reddening as her heart raced unsteadily.
“Hmm… we’re this close already? This ghost girl is slowly winning me over…”
If she had known this before reaching the future, she would have never accepted these actions from Eypar; she’d be super shy and unprepared.
But after three years, it seemed she allowed such things from Eypar; it was unbelievable!
This also proved their bonds were growing stronger over time.
So, what level has everyone else reached?
For example, Lianhua, for instance, or Kong Yu Bai…
And many other girls who constantly snuggled with her. They may be more terrifying than Eypar!
Right now, it’s Fantasy Time!
“Aaaah~”
Thinking of those embarrassing moments, Night Star Lan felt flushed, twisting and turning on the bed.
Night Star Lan underestimated the impact of three years far too much.
Even if things hadn’t changed much, adjustments weren’t something she could easily adapt to.
How exactly was she supposed to handle her future friends?
If they remained just friends, it would be fine.
But if it goes further—friends or lovers—it would be more than just cuddling!
“Waaah~ Why do I have to face this alone? Poor Lucy~”
Covering herself with the blanket, Night Star Lan’s thoughts were filled with naughty images.
Anyone watching would think it was two troublesome creatures squirming under the blanket.
