After a short while…
Luo Xi’s two older brothers returned home.
Both were slightly handsome young men, with a quiet demeanor that gave off a mysterious yet ordinary vibe.
When they saw Night Star and Luo Xi on the couch, they merely nodded hello before retreating to their respective rooms.

See, Night Star wasn’t one to visit friends’ homes often, especially when the whole family was present. That meant inevitably mingling with relatives!

And amidst this subtle tension, the five of them quietly finished dinner.
Luo Xi’s sister was quite decent at cooking.

After dinner, Night Star had no intention of sticking around.
She certainly wasn’t ready to spend the night at a friend’s house on the first day they met.

“Goodbye! If you go to the Star Network headquarters tomorrow, I’ll come find you,” Night Star said with a smile, waving as she left.
“Goodbye,” Luo Xi replied flatly, and the room quickly fell silent.
Her sister and two brothers finally spoke up after Night Star slipped away.
“I don’t understand why you’re so close with that human,” one brother said.
“With your noble stature, you shouldn’t be associating with her. Humans have no right to touch your body!”
“If you’re after some amusement, we’ll pretend we didn’t hear,” another chimed in.
Luo Xi gave them a sideways glance, her expression still as calm as a still lake.
“Because she qualifies. She’s far more interesting and noble than you first-gen folks, that’s all.”
With a flick of her long hair, it shifted color visibly.
Pure black rapidly transformed into a shade of pure white.
Even her eyes turned a light gray, as if she were a completely different person.
“Maybe the power within her is just momentarily dormant, and you can’t sense it. But I can. She deserves to be compared to me; don’t mistake things.”
“Got it, thanks for the heads-up.”
“What are your plans now? You seem quite invested in that human.”
“I’ll observe her a bit longer. Just stick to your roles.”

Night Star, patting her contented belly, returned to the Rising Sun Theater.
