### Chapter 100: The Otherworld
Time slowly trickled by.
Finally, Night Star Lan’s Wish Princess had recovered and could make wishes normally again.
“Hooray! I’m back in action!”
Night Star Lan summoned the Wish Princess and hugged her, nuzzling affectionately.
Now that the Wish Princess was up and running again, what was there to fear?
Finally, she could bring Kuro back!
If he behaved, great!

Luo Xi stood beside Night Star Lan, staring at the equally expressionless Wish Princess.

“I found him. Based on my sensing, Kuro is indeed in another time-space.”
“And what time point is that? The future, the past? Or some weird parallel world?”
The time point was quite crucial for Night Star Lan.
Knowing the time point of that dimension would help her quickly grasp the situation there, ensuring she could adapt fast.
If she found out now, they could investigate.
It was always better to be prepared than to scramble around later.
However, Luo Xi remained silent, not immediately answering Night Star Lan’s question.
“The situation is a bit special. Kuro’s time travel has detached from this world line; he might be headed to another world.”
Night Star Lan’s head was instantly filled with question marks.
“Huh?”
“It means that the conditions in that world are different from this one. This world has Stars and Star Eclipses, but that world lacks both—it might have a completely new system and history, with events entirely unrelated to this place. Everything there could be totally foreign to you.”
After hearing Luo Xi’s explanation, Night Star Lan suddenly got it.
“Oh! I get it now, we’re talking about an ‘otherworld,’ right? Wow, the Group Leader actually took Kuro to another world? How fascinating! Just kidding! Why on earth did he end up in another world? Can’t he stay put? And what’s up with this whole otherworld business?!”
Night Star Lan thought parallel worlds were already outrageous.
Who knew there’d be something like an otherworld?
She knew exactly what this meant.
It meant she would be diving into a totally unfamiliar world, with zero knowledge about anything there.

Even with the Wish Princess’s help, gathering information about that place would probably take ages.

Night Star Lan felt a bit bummed out.

Just then, Mo Rabbit suddenly appeared in the theater, spotting Night Lan and Luo Xi sitting together.

Night Lan called out to her.
Mo Rabbit paused.
“I don’t think I’m involved in this, am I?”

“Hmph~ I haven’t even settled the score with you yet for daring to relay information to the Leader without my permission! Betraying me has consequences! Now spill! Who else did you tell?”
Mo Rabbit sighed, ready to surrender. She had expected this repercussion.
“Just the Leader and Xiao Jin. No one else.”
“Do you have any deeper secrets out?”
“None at all, I’m very discreet.”
Mo Rabbit was well aware of where Night Star Lan’s limits lay and what made her tick.
As a meticulous intellectual, it would be pretty silly not to consider these things.

Night Lan let out a breath, giving a cute huff.
“If I find out you’re keeping things from me again and making these kinds of betrayals, I won’t let you off so easily.”
Mo Rabbit caught the underlying threat in Night Star Lan’s words.
“So this time I’m off the hook, right?”
“Don’t be so sure! Just wait and see—soon enough, you’ll have it rough!”
“Ugh, have mercy!”
Oh, the trials of fate.
She had only approached Night Star Lan for a bit of fun.

But unfortunately, that little loli just loved to torment her.
Honestly, being innocent and tormented wasn’t any fun at all.
How could she retaliate against this loli’s “cruel” domination?
Mo Rabbit felt it was essential to devise a good plan.
Meanwhile, Night Lan was also deep in thought, before turning to ask Luo Xi.
“Luo Xi, if you send me to the otherworld where the Group Leader and Kuro are, could you also send a few people along?”
After all, her current thought process was: if the otherworld isn’t a parallel universe, then there are no such things as theater members or Night Watchers there.
Since that’s the case…
Having some company to brave the unknown together would feel a lot safer.
Luo Xi, being the Source of White, although in a weakened state, was still much stronger than the Wish Princess right now, and might be able to manage multitudes of transports!

“What otherworld? That sounds like a blast! Can I come?”
Night Star Lan looked at her with a smile.
“Well then, I’m counting on you, Mo Rabbit, to play the role of our base’s tool from now on. I believe you can handle it.”
“Well… if I’m interested, I might just be very willing.”
Mo Rabbit’s radar for fun quickly picked up vital information.
It seemed she was about to get involved in a really exciting performance!
