### Chapter 16: Heading Out for a Rescue
The convenient Pocket Dimension and Fortune-telling were always Mo Rabbit’s strongest ace up her sleeve.
She used these abilities to infiltrate many secret areas, and so far she hadn’t been caught. It was very smooth going.
If this had happened in the original Night Watcher Base, even if she managed to sneak in, she would have been found out quickly, possibly captured.
The stark contrast was as obvious as night and day.
But thinking about it, it seemed quite reasonable too.
Back in those days, the guardians of this world had to face enemies with explosive combat powers and destructive forces—like that Mist Hidden Beast.
Guardians focused on developing powerful destructive force and killing power to fight against them; functional development wasn’t their strong suit.
As a result, most of the guardians’ abilities revolved around being fighters. Once they got on the battlefield, they were like massive meat grinders, their sole purpose being to chop the Mist Hidden Beast into pieces. Simple and straightforward.
But the Night Watchers usually had to deal with mysterious Star Eclipses.
Star Eclipses possessed Star Eclipse pollution. Unlike the Mist Hidden Beast, which specialized in destruction, they targeted humans’ minds. Should a Night Watcher’s mental strength be weak, they would surely crumble.
Star Eclipses seldom had high combat capabilities.
Though there were some exceptions, they were rare.
Night Watchers only needed to find hidden Star Eclipses and deal with them right away.
If a Star Eclipse got too close, it was a done deal.
Just like playing hide-and-seek—whether you could solve the problem before your mind got polluted.
So while the overall combat capabilities of Night Watchers might be slightly lower than those of the guardians, they excelled at unraveling mysteries and solving puzzles.
Different environments produce different talents.
That’s roughly how it worked.
If they switched roles, things would probably get chaotic.
So here’s the question.
The document records that the members of [Zero-Style Nightfall] have S-Class abilities, meaning they should also be oriented more toward destruction and injury.
Their capabilities could be easier to understand compared to the strange powers of the first generation Star Eclipses.
Thus, it’s probable that Mo Rabbit will handle this trip smoothly since evading and running isn’t her problem.
All she needs to do is return to the Rising Sun Theater if things don’t work out.
With thoughts in mind, Mo Rabbit leapt over the fence and entered the private beach boundary soon.
Suddenly, the stable Pocket Dimension space appeared to be torn apart by an ominous slash, as if forcibly opened.
A black-haired girl walked into the Pocket Dimension.
Nightsky’s eyes, under the influence of her ability, quietly turned red, giving off a strong oppressive aura.
“Let me see who dares to disturb my fishing! If you can’t come up with a reasonable excuse, you’re going to spend ten to fifteen days in the guardian base!”
Mo Rabbit’s face changed drastically, instinctively opening the Theater Door, ready to flee immediately.
However, without warning, Nightsky swung her hand, as if slicing something out of thin air.
In the next instant, the newly opened Theater Door slammed shut. No matter what Mo Rabbit thought, she couldn’t open it again.
“Space powers? No wonder I barely made it through. In fact, I can even temporarily ‘chop’ anything conceptually. Coming alone to face a fully upgraded version of me? That takes some guts.”
As soon as Nightsky finished speaking, Mo Rabbit’s Pocket Dimension shattered like broken glass.
Alright.
Mo Rabbit ultimately paid the price for her arrogance.
She shouldn’t have decided to sneak in!
Concepts being chopped?
How the hell does one play this game?
Frozen in place, Mo Rabbit quickly gathered her wits, thinking of ways to escape.
Nightsky’s eyes returned to black, her cold aura vanishing instantly.
“Hmm? A little loli? What an unexpected visitor.”
Kaguya and company arrived at the scene as well.
“Huh? Another loli? I bet it’s because of Nightsky’s lure-loli glow.”
“What lure loli glow? Don’t add such quirky settings, Kora!”
Nene squatted down to observe Mo Rabbit who was still frozen in place.
“Slowpoke, was your entrance too startling and frightening her? Look, she’s not moving at all.”
Little Dream drifted over on a cloud, scolding them all.
“How about we ask her intentions first instead of just talking to ourselves, it’s rude to ignore someone.”
Meanwhile, Mo Rabbit finally recovered from her shock, appearing rather calm.
“Hello, you can call me Announcer. I’m curious about the identities of the [Zero-Style Nightfall] members. If my actions offended you, please accept my apology.”
Nightsky tilted her head, musing for a moment.
“Cough, cough ~ Well, considering you’re a little loli, I’ll go ahead and forgive you for disrupting my fishing.”
Goodness.
A loli turned out to be a loli fetishist?
Where have I seen this setup before?
Regardless, Mo Rabbit felt these girls surprisingly friendly and should be safe from harm.
Unsurprisingly, they were likely members of [Zero-Style Nightfall], exactly six in number.
“Are you members of [Zero-Style Nightfall]?”
Yuxi responded, “If you mean the team name derived from Nightsky’s second-stage madness, then yes.”
Next to her, Nightsky chimed in mockingly.
“Aren’t you cool? Truly, lacking taste.”
“Your taste is beyond comprehension.”
Even the usually stoic Chenxi couldn’t hold back a comment.
At this point, Kaguya interrupted their conversation, scrutinizing Mo Rabbit with her gaze.
“The power inside you… doesn’t seem like an abnormal ability. Can you explain?”
Startled, Mo Rabbit replied.
“You can tell?”
Kaguya continued, “Over the years, I’ve seen plenty of abnormal abilities, enough to recognize differences easily. Since it’s not an abnormal ability, it must be some other unknown force. Where did this power come from? If you found us, I’m guessing you’ve prepared yourself. I don’t believe you just stumbled upon us.”
Mo Rabbit secretly heaved a sigh of relief. As long as there’s a chance for communication, she had made preparations beforehand.
If she hadn’t been detected when sneaking in, then at least there’s hope to negotiate. Eventually, getting caught would require improvisation to communicate.
Better to assess their attitude preemptively.
Mo Rabbit raised a friendly smile and said:
“In fact, I’m not from this world but another. The power within me is called Stars, different from your abnormal abilities. Do you understand?”
