### Chapter 21: Of One Kind
After the serious talk was done and dusted, it was time for some gossip to satisfy each other’s curiosity.
Hinata and company were very interested in the power hierarchy of the world where Yozora came from.
Nirutabbit naturally stepped forward to fulfill their curiosity, since she had a much broader understanding of the information. If it were up to Yozora, it would probably only add more confusion for the listeners.
In short, Nirutabbit could handle all the tedious stuff.
As for Zero-Style Nightfall’s group, Nirutabbit didn’t hide much. She briefly described the setting of Stars and Star Eclipses, and mentioned the general situation of that world, so that Hinata and others got the idea pretty quickly.
“Huh~ we come from the same source? Our former companions might turn into mortal enemies. Your world sure is cruel.”
Hinata gave a simple assessment.
A stable Star could at any moment turn into an uncontrollable Star Eclipse.
The moment someone becomes a Star Eclipse marks the disappearance of human will.
Never mind that.
There’s more than just d*ath that can transform a person into a Star Eclipse.
Emotional instability or other mental issues could affect the Star inside one’s body, which could be even riskier than psychic abilities.
Perhaps the upper limit of Stars was higher than psychic powers, but at least psychic powers didn’t have as many nuisances.
In a sense, they were both on the same team in rejecting enemies.
Just like when they fought against the Mist Hidden Beast back then.
Nirutabbit chuckled lightly.
“It’s not too bad. Everyone has gotten used to it, and the potential crisis should be completely resolved. Once that happens, we won’t need to deal with that kind of enemy again.”
“Like how the source of our fog was eliminated? Then I hope everything turns out well for you.”
Meanwhile, while Nirutabbit and Hinata were chatting, Yozora was pulled aside by Yozora-sky, as if wanting to whisper something confidential.
“Yozora~ I have a question I’d like to ask you; I hope you can answer it.”
“Uh… First tell me what the question is, I’ll try my best to answer if I can.”
Yozora thought Yozora-sky was curious about her wish machine.
It wasn’t a problem to help a friend fulfill a couple of small wishes.
Of course, it depended on what those wishes were.
Yozora-sky hesitated before speaking.
“Emmm…”
Her usually bold personality started to tremble, feeling a bit shy.
Seeing Yozora-sky this way, Yozora began to feel nervous as well.
Why did she have to hesitate so much?
It seemed as if what she was about to say was going to be really terrible.
Don’t give her time to overthink it!
Finally, after a deep breath, Yozora-sky’s expression became serious.
“Yozora!”
“I’m here!”
Instinctively tensing up, Yozora felt her heart race.
“How old are you?”
“Huh?”
When Yozora-sky asked this question, Yozora froze.
“What the hell is that kind of question?”
“It’s a normal question. Did you think it was some weird question?”
Under Yozora-sky’s peculiar gaze, Yozora quickly composed herself.
“Oh… Currently, I’m around 23. You might not believe it, but I swear I really am a legal loli!”
Yozora-sky nodded thoughtfully.
“I believe you! I also happen to be a legal loli, and I’m actually older than you.”

Now it was Yozora who was confused.
Why was this seemingly young loli actually older than her—and legally a loli?

Seeing Yozora’s incredulous expression, Yozora-sky sighed gently.
“There’s nothing unreasonable. It’s because of our psychic powers. Initially, I wasn’t a little loli either.”
Yozora-sky spoke in a toneless manner.
Yozora was surprised again.
“Shock!”
Yozora-sky smiled mischievously.

The contrast was too large.
She had always assumed her to be a pure, high-quality loli.
But instead, it turned out that she was just as experienced as Yozora.
Yozora-sky shrugged.
“If it were obvious, then I would have been troubled back then, but I got used to it over time. Say, Yozora, have you ever woken up to find yourself a loli after the fact? If so, that would fit my guess.”
“Huh?”
Yozora nearly missed the chance to answer, staring at Yozora-sky dumbstruck.
There was a subtle smile playing on the corners of Yozora-sky’s mouth.
“Cutting cute corners won’t work. My hunch was a little right, akin to some failed oracle. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have said ‘let’s become sworn sisters’.”
Yozora hesitated before speaking.
“You also woke up one day as a little loli?”
“The ‘also’? Then my guess must be correct; we are indeed similar.”
Hearing Yozora’s secret, Yozora-sky wasn’t flustered but rather complicated.
Because it seemed Yozora-sky was also this way.
Cute on the outside, but not pure loli soul at heart.

“Why do you turn into a little loli after waking up?”

Actually, Yozora-sky didn’t know why she suddenly turned into a loli until much later.
Then she asked Yozora in return.
“What about you? What’s the reason you turn into a little loli?”
Yozora hesitated, her cheeks flushed. She seemed embarrassed to answer.
“Well… it’s because of my wish… At night, I’d make a wish, and the wish machine fulfilled it….”
Yozora-sky’s lips twitched.
“Is that for real?”
“Ahem… I’m not a pervert. When my wish machine first awakened, it was all just in jest. Who could’ve possibly thought it’d actually come true?”
“How dramatic!”
Yozora muttered to herself.
“But since you have a wish machine, you should be able to wish yourself back to normal, right?”
Yozora shook her head quickly, filled with reluctance.
“Not really, thanks. I quite enjoy my current life, being a loli fetishist, especially when looking so cute.”
Yozora changed her tone.
“What about you, Yozora? If you want to look the way you used to, you can make a wish to me. It’s capable of doing anything.”
Yozora-sky’s head bobbed like a rattle.
“No way, no. Since things are settled as they are, I don’t want to change anything. Besides, being an adorable loli with invincibility? That’s a great combo!”
“True, who wouldn’t enjoy being an adorable unstoppable loli?”
Yozora and Yozora-sky shared a knowing smile, totally in sync.
